After they ditched the scarecrows, a giant prey mantis stopped them. The giant prey mantis growled at Violet, Jack, and the kids while he looked down at them. Then he started drooling as if he wanted to eat them. The kids didn't like the look in the mantis's eyes, so they ran away screaming, and the giant prey mantis chased after them. They all crossed it when they got to the bridge, but the giant prey mantis stayed in the garden. When they got to the other side, the headless horseman found them and ran after them. Then they all ran inside the house through the back door so the horseman wouldn't follow them.
Once they got inside, they walked into the living room and saw it was full of ghosts and monsters. Lou said, "Yikes, ghosts. Ghosts everywhere." Then the headless horseman got off and came in through the back door by himself, too. Then he joined the party. Pablo said, "Monsters, too. Almost every ghost and monster we've seen is here." Then a green hand emerged from the record player and started the music. Once the music started, all the ghosts and monsters began to dance to it. Then, one of the ghosts flew up to Violet, Jack, and the kids. The spirit said, "Hi, kids, welcome to the party." Emma said, "Party?" The ghost said, "Yeah, every Halloween, all the ghosts who live here throw a Halloween party because it's our favorite time to haunt this place. This song is our favorite song. Come on, let's dance." The ghost took Lou, flew her up in the air, and started to dance with her. Bobby said, "Lou!" Then, the spirit of Sarah Belington floated up to them, grabbed Bobby, and danced with him. Emma said, "If one of the ghouls tries to dance with me, I'm out of here if it kills me." Alex said, "If you can't beat them, join them." Violet, Jack, and the kids all started to dance to the music, too, but then Lou fell onto Emma, and Bobby fell onto Mike. Lou said, "Sorry, Emma." Bobby said, "Sorry, Mike." While the ghouls were partying, the kids tried to find a way to leave the party, and one of the ghosts played the piano to accompany the music.
Mike grabbed the doorknob on a door, but the doorknob grew a face and spoke to the kids once he did. The doorknob said, "Watch it." Emma said, "Where are your manners, Mr. Doorknob?" Then the door opened, and a skeleton came out. The framework said, "Hello, cutie. Let's dance." A framework grabbed Emma's hands and danced with her while the music played. Mike laughed and pointed at Emma because she was dancing with a skeleton. Then, a female vampire came out of the door, tapped Mike's back, and Mike turned around. Then the vampire grabbed Mike and danced with him. Jack and Violet danced together since they both protected the people who came inside the house. Helga was dancing by herself, but a zombie kicked her. Helga said, "Hey, watch it." The zombie kicked her again, and Helga got mad. Helga said, "Ok, you asked for it." Helga kicked the zombie back and knocked his head off. While everyone was dancing, Alex, Sam, and a zombie walked up to the buffet table and wondered what to eat. The zombie took a bite out of the spaghetti and eyeballs. After seeing what the zombie had just eaten, Alex and Sam thought they were just about ready to throw up. Then, a vampire offered Sam a cup of blood punch. Sam said, "No, thank you." Then, they checked out the rest of the buffet table and examined the remaining food. They saw that all the food made for the ghouls was disgusting and would make them throw up if they ate it.
After they saw the buffet table, Alex and Sam were confident they would be sick. A ghost said, "Sure, you don't want any?" The spirit ate an eyeball and said, "They're juicy and delicious." Then, a vampire drank some of the punch, which was blood. The vampire said, "Or how about some blood punch if you're thirsty from all that screaming?" Then he gave three plates of food on the table to the three-headed cat monster, and all three heads ate everything the vampire gave them. Alex and Sam started to scream in terror as they saw the cat monster's shadow on the wall while he ate the arms, spiderwebs, and eyeballs that the vampire had fed him. Then they saw the vampire lick some blood he spilled on his fingers. Then they both ran away screaming.
After they left, Alex and Sam bumped into the ghost of Sarah Belington. Sarah said, "Mind if I cut in?" Sarah grabbed Alex and started to dance with him. Then, the headless horseman held Sam, and Sam danced with him. Pablo was dancing alone, but then a ghost hit him away, and he landed near Jack and Violet. Once he did, he saw Sam dancing with the headless horseman and hid Jack from him. Then, a snake with a cat's head snuck up from behind them and used its tail to tap Tom's shoulder. Then Tom looked behind him, and the cat snake wrapped around him. Then Tom screamed and shouted, "HELP!" Emma struggled, but she managed to grab the cat snake, while Lou grabbed Tom. Once Tom separated from the cat snake, Violet, Jack, and the kids ran off before the cat snake came at them again.
After ditching the cat snake, they stopped running and saw a pair of pants and a shirt dancing alone. Sam said, "Now there's something you don't see daily." The clothing then stopped dancing and fell to the ground. Then, a black suit flapped its sleeves and flew up to the kids. Pablo said, "Yikes, haunted suits." Emma screamed in terror, and Alex grabbed her and ran off with her. Bobby grabbed Helga and ran off with her. Mike grabbed Lou and Violet and ran off with them. Pablo grabbed Sam and ran off with her. Tom grabbed Susan and Jack and ran off with them. Then, the flying suit chased after them all over the house. When they made it to the living room, they ran upstairs, and the flying suit still chased after them. Mike saw a small door, slid it open, and found the laundry chute when it had them cornered. Then, they all jumped and slid down the laundry chute to the laundry room. Then, the flying suit flew down the laundry chute after them, and when they hit bottom, they all fell into the laundry hamper. Once the flying suit reached the bottom, it lost its grip on the kids, so it stopped flying and fell into the hamper with them. When it did, the kids jumped out of the hamper, screaming, and then ran out of the laundry room. Once they got out, they slammed the door shut and found some hiding place.
