Chapter 88 - Chapter 88: One Hit, One Opponent!

In the spectator stands.

As Vincent Fox finally got serious and began pushing the match with unstoppable momentum, breaking into the enemy's high ground, most of the audience leaned in, watching closely.

"The freshman mid-laner from Martial Saint Academy is finally treating this seriously. He really is a terrifying player, managing to take down two towers in quick succession!"

The commentator's voice rang out, "East Arts Academy is in serious trouble now. The next team fight will likely decide the match. If Martial Saint Academy's teammates can provide timely support, East Arts Academy might completely collapse!"

By now, the audience had stopped paying attention to the commentary.

All eyes were fixed on the battlefield, not wanting to miss a single moment.

The teachers and leaders from Godslayer Academy were also watching with serious expressions.

Especially Walter Wayne, who was glaring intently at Vincent's projection, his brows tightly furrowed.

"Principal, this is the student I mentioned. You've seen his performance now. With his strength, if a trap had been set, it's highly likely he could have killed Elias Vale and his team. And back in Forbidden Zone #3, he accepted the same zombie extermination mission as Elias, even following the exact same plan!"

Walter clenched his teeth as he reported to the middle-aged man beside him.

Although Walter had managed to keep his job, it came at a great cost, and he now had a major demerit on his record.

If anything else went wrong, he'd face far worse than just losing his job.

That's why Walter harbored deep hatred toward Vincent Fox.

The more he thought about it, the more convinced he became that Vincent and that girl had ambushed Elias Vale's team.

Because Walter knew something no one else did—Elias Vale's team had taken on a secret mission from him in addition to the zombie extermination task, which would have inevitably brought them into direct conflict with Vincent.

The middle-aged man beside him was the Vice Principal of Godslayer Academy.

He watched Vincent seriously but said nothing.

As a leader, he would not casually pass judgment.

Back in the waiting room.

Countless students were also watching the match.

At this moment, they all wore serious expressions.

Vincent's performance had made them truly cautious.

"I never expected such a powerful player to come from a no-name third-rate academy."

This was from a girl in Imperial Capital University's waiting room.

A boy replied disdainfully, "Just a lucky kid who stumbled into some power."

"Lucky?" another boy sneered. "You think luck alone can earn two maximum mission ratings? Zane Mitchell, why don't you try it?"

Zane Mitchell's face darkened. "William Turner, what's your problem?"

"Nothing," William said calmly. "Just reminding you not to underestimate anyone."

"Enough, both of you, shut up!" the girl cut in again.

Though the two boys were still unhappy, they obediently fell silent.

Clearly, this girl held the highest authority among them.

"Captain, I heard Martial Saint Academy had two seed students who might have fallen to this guy in Forbidden Zone #3."

"Oh? Looks like this guy will be our serious rival."

Zane Mitchell said, "Captain, don't overhype him. Sure, the kid's got some skill, but his teammates are trash. Only that archer is worth noting. This is a team battle. A single carry won't flip the whole game."

The girl smiled, half amused. "Fine then. When we meet Martial Saint Academy later, mid lane is yours."

Zane's face twitched, but he still forced himself to act tough. "Sure. Leave him to me."

Similar conversations were taking place in other teams.

Vincent's overwhelming dominance over East Arts Academy had finally earned him the serious attention of his future opponents.

Inside King's Canyon.

When Vincent destroyed the mid-lane high ground tower, panic immediately swept through East Arts Academy's team.

"Mid lane's about to collapse! Everyone, fall back and defend the crystal!" Zachary Liu shouted urgently.

His teammates knew how dire the situation was and quickly retreated.

Their withdrawal was immediately visible to Martial Saint Academy's side.

But Autumn Summer didn't waste time pushing towers.

Vincent was already at their high ground. Why would she bother pushing a side lane now?

That would be idiotic.

"Their whole team is retreating! Everyone, head to mid lane immediately to support Vincent!" Autumn ordered.

Everyone quickly gathered at mid lane.

They were genuinely impressed by Vincent's performance. He had almost single-handedly crushed the enemy.

As for Vincent, he didn't really care whether support came or not.

His current kill count was already six (the enemy mid-laner had fed him another kill while trying to defend the high ground). He only needed one more to achieve his Godlike streak.

Soon, both teams gathered for the final clash.

"Stay within the crystal's attack range! Its damage is high—stick to it and fight close!" Zachary Liu rallied his team. "If we win this fight, we can still turn this game around!"

On Martial Saint's side, Autumn Summer also boosted morale. "This is the final wave! Don't make mistakes! If we win this, we win the match!"

"Zoe Harper, Quentin Lewis, Ben Carter—when the minion wave arrives, you three charge in first. Don't let the enemy clear our wave! Vincent, you focus on killing the enemy. I'll attack the crystal!"

Everyone enthusiastically agreed. It was the perfect strategy for their team.

Vincent glanced at Autumn Summer with a faint look of admiration.

The strategy was simple, but she had fully utilized everyone's strengths. For her first real match, she was doing quite well.

Moments later, the minion wave arrived.

"Go!" Autumn shouted.

Everyone charged toward the crystal.

Zoe Harper led the charge.

Although she was sturdy, she was actually afraid of dying. She had poured all her attribute points from the Forbidden Zones into durability, making her the toughest on the team.

Of course, compared to Vincent, she was still leagues behind.

She rushed straight into the crystal's attack range, soaking up its damage.

On East Arts Academy's side, they had already prepared their defense.

As soon as the enemy charged in, they launched their counterattack.

"Hold the line! Focus on clearing the minions first!" Zachary Liu shouted.

The battle erupted instantly!

Vincent joined the fight.

"Whoosh! Whoosh!"

The sound of his blazing fire fists tearing through the air echoed repeatedly.

It was practically one punch, one opponent.

Just like swatting down little kids.
