It turned out that Zubat, at the critical moment, saved Squirtle. Its feet hooked into the cracks of Squirtle's shell. Zubat carried Squirtle flying high into the sky, and finally, Squirtle landed in Qingwu's arms. Squirtle laughed joyfully.

Although Qingwu planned to search for Mudkip within these three days, the two little Pokémon didn't slack off on their training. The Water-type Pokémon rescued by Qingwu also came in handy. Qingwu wanted to overcome Aron's fear of water, so he had Squirtle continuously use Bubble on Aron. This not only provided training for Squirtle but also built Aron's tolerance to Water-type moves.

For Zubat, Qingwu planned to have it dodge attacks from Water-type Pokémon above the river. Of course, Qingwu would also give 1-2 Pokéblocks to every Water-type Pokémon that exerted effort, ensuring they weren't working for free. At the same time, Qingwu also showed them pictures of Mudkip, asking the Water-type Pokémon in the river. Because of their "fish memories," many Water-type Pokémon knew nothing when asked (since the river was full of dim-witted Pokémon like Seaking, Magikarp, Goldeen, and Quagsire, they had "fish memories").

Qingwu, through Pokéblocks, built good relationships with the nearby Water-type Pokémon and Ursaring. Building a good relationship with Ursaring was also a coincidence. That day, Qingwu was making Pokéblocks by the riverbank. As he was about to add Beedrill's honey to the Pokéblocks, a huge bear head suddenly appeared beside Qingwu. It turned out that Qingwu was so focused on making Pokéblocks that he didn't notice Ursaring approaching. The three little Pokémon had gone wandering around, so there were no Pokémon beside him. This Ursaring was 5 meters tall and covered in countless scars. At this moment, it was drooling while smelling Qingwu's unformed Pokéblocks and Beedrill's honey.

Ursaring seemed to suddenly remember something. It rushed into the forest, roaring loudly. After a flurry, Ursaring appeared with a pile of very high-quality Berries, gently placing them on the ground. Ursaring pointed at the Pokéblocks in Qingwu's hand and Beedrill's honey, making a gesture of exchange.

"That's strange. Don't Ursaring always like to forcefully take things? Why would it be willing to exchange?"

Just then, a rustling sound came from the bushes. Soon, one, two, three, four, five adorable Teddiursa poked their heads out from the bushes, rubbed their bellies, and whimpered softly at Ursaring. The Teddiursa were drooling. Qingwu saw the joy of a new father in Ursaring's eyes.

"So that's it. It just became a father and doesn't want to show its ferocious side in front of its children." Qingwu understood. Many Pokémon also liked to set an example in front of their young.

"Here," Qingwu offered a large bottle of honey and the finished Pokéblocks. "Take these. They're very delicious." Qingwu accepted the Berries. They were indeed high-quality Berries. Among this pile of Berries, Qingwu also found a Salac Berry, which increased speed. If a Torchic with the Speed Boost ability consumed Salac Berries long-term, it would probably become overpowered after evolving.

In this back-and-forth, Qingwu became a distinguished guest of the Ursaring family. His powerful Pokémon breeding ability and Pokémon healing methods made Qingwu feel completely at home in this forest.

Three days passed. Qingwu was very regretful that he still hadn't found Mudkip.

"Forget it. If I get it, it's my luck; if not, it's my destiny. It means the time isn't right yet." Qingwu put away his disappointment, packed his luggage, and prepared to head towards the volcano.

The Ursaring, reluctant to see Qingwu go, sent him off for a long distance until Qingwu was far away, then they reluctantly returned to their territory.

During these three days, Squirtle's body grew like an inflated balloon, from its original palm size to the size of a normal Squirtle. Squirtle's level also increased from Level 1 to Level 5. Aron, after a few days of Bubble training from Squirtle, initially overcame its fear of water. Now, it wouldn't directly avoid small puddles.

Zubat's progress was even more remarkable. It learned to use Supersonic to detect Water-type Pokémon hidden deep in the river and to predict Water-type Pokémon's moves. Now, normal Water-type Pokémon couldn't defeat Zubat.

With three days of busy leveling, Zubat's level finally reached Level 22, and its body began to emit the white light of evolution. However, Qingwu did not immediately let Zubat evolve. Through Qingwu's nurturing, Zubat's aptitude had already been raised to dark green. Qingwu deduced a potion specifically for improving Zubat's aptitude, but most of the ingredients Qingwu didn't have on hand. Qingwu could only have Zubat suppress its evolution. Even a small increase in Zubat's aptitude would have a huge impact on Zubat. Evolution was also a way to improve aptitude.

Zubat's body also grew larger and larger. Now, it was twice the size of a normal Golbat. Qingwu easily rested his feet on Zubat. Its strong and powerful wings could support Qingwu's entire weight.

There were many Flying-type Pokémon on Trial Island, but most of them were relatively docile. Qingwu saw the shimmering sea surface from high in the sky. Qingwu saw the golden light emanating from the sun shining on the sea. Countless Wingull and Pelipper flew in the sky. Qingwu knew that these Wingull and Pelipper were captured and released here by Team Rocket, their purpose being to prevent anyone from escaping Trial Island. Once someone passed through the defense line of Wingull and Pelipper with a Flying-type Pokémon, they would be subjected to a collective attack from Pelipper and Wingull, an uncountable barrage of Water Guns and Hydro Pumps.

Some might ask, "Can't I just swim underwater all the way to the sea?" If you really thought that, you're too young, too simple. Team Rocket had tamed countless bloodthirsty Sharpedo and Gyarados all around Trial Island. Once someone tried to escape Trial Island by swimming, they would be attacked by a collective assault from Sharpedo and Gyarados. They might not even get far before becoming a meal for Sharpedo.

Some might ask, "What if I escape the pursuit of Sharpedo and Gyarados? Wouldn't I be safe then?" Wrong again. The clever Team Rocket had long thought of a solution. Every Team Rocket member who was kidnapped had a miniature bomb implanted in their neck. This bomb was hidden in the second cervical vertebra behind the neck. Once they left the ten-mile radius of Trial Island, the miniature bomb would detonate. Team Rocket had also specifically considered the situation where a kidnapped Psychic-type user might block the miniature bomb. These miniature bombs were also equipped with Dark-type energy, which could effectively counter Psychic powers.

So, with all these considerations, almost no one would actively rebel. On the road to rebellion, they would probably be defeated.
