Chapter 2 - Back to the beginning (2)

Xie Yang could not care less about this brother of his. He wanted nothing more than to get ready and get out of this hell hole.

He opened his wardrobe and found his school uniform hanging upon the clothes hanger.

'God, how long has it been? Ten years? Twenty years? Quiet a long time has gone by.'

It has almost been too long.

His eyes dimmed as he stared at the neat and clean uniform. It appeared so different from the tattered mess he remembered it to be.

The clean uniform seemed to reignite his already burning desire to leave this place. He quickly dismissed his thoughts and wore the clothes. He casually tousled his hair and looked in the mirror.

The mirror reflected the translucent pale skin against the white short sleeved shirt with the two top buttons undone showing a small expanse of his beautiful collarbone which was tucked into tight dress pants which outlined his small waist and accentuated his perky butt and long legs.

Coupled with an indifferent expression on his small, clean face and smooth silky hair which lay gracefully on his neck.

Normally with such a cute face and the school uniform, he would look like a straight laced, diligent student but with his deliberate styling and casual aura, he resembled a model instead.

'Damn boy! You'd be turning the heads of these pubescent brats.'

After a moment of narcissistic self reflection, he picked up his bag, glasses case and his.... cellphone.

Fuck!

He should have just checked his cellphone in the first place instead of guessing.

However holding the keypad cellphone with a cute lavender themed cell strap, taking in it's details to appreciate it's quality and beauty.

Kai had been the one who gave him this cell strap. He was the only one who ever gave him violet colored gifts.

He knew that his favorite color was violet even though he never told anyone. Everyone else including his family thought it was black and usually got items of the same color.

Sigh…..

Giving a sigh, he recollected himself and turned on the phone just to confirm once again that he was in the past.

His melancholic expression instantly turned frosty when he saw the date.

The date was three days before the day he came out to his family. The day where everything started going downhill. The beginning of his hellish life full of obstacles until he met Kai.

Glancing at the date, Xie Yang became gloomy.

Do I really have to through that all over again?

Relive that nightmare until I meet my Kai?

'No, absolutely not. I'm not fucking going through that all over again.'

Anyway, he had a bamboo in chest.

Didn't Kai say that he had fallen for me back when we were in elementary school?

Knowing him he certainly would not let go of a chance to possess me, to trap me in his little cage keeping me locked up where I wouldn't suffer the slightest grievance while making sure that I would have no way out.

No. He would make it so that I won't want to escape even if i was given the chance.

When the time comes all I have to do is give him a call, maybe squeeze out a few tears. He loves me too much, he'll just try to coax me.

'"Ah~ I miss him so much." Xie Yang muttered.

Let's get out quickly. The faster you are, the sooner you can see him.

Thinking this,, it was as if Xie Yang was injected with chicken blood hurrying out of his room.

After taking a few steps out of the corridor, a living room came into view which was extended and connected with the kitchen making it appear bigger.

There was a woman bustling about in the kitchen and a man sitting quietly on a chair at the dining table reading a newspaper, both looking very harmonious.

When Xie Yang saw them, he felt a surging hatred in his heart yet there was also an unfounded sense of relief when seeing them healthy and full of vigor.

This lively look suited them way more than the emaciated, tired look they had during their last encounter.

"Ah-Yang come quickly! Have some breakfast before you go!"

Mother Xie exclaimed when she saw her eldest son staring at her. She wasn't the type to brag but her eldest son was truly the ideal son.

He was intelligent, sensible, obedient as well as filial. She really wished for her second son to learn from the eldest but that child was just too naughty and playful. It in turn made her appreciate her eldest son more.

Upon seeing his tousled hair and styled clothes, she seemed a bit surprised and asked, "Ah-Yang did you change your style? Your previous style suited you way more."

She casually advised. She felt that this new look made him seem like a bad boy who plays with girls' feelings whereas the previous one emphasized his obedient demeanor.

She was looking at Xie Yang with a look full of motherly affection yet Xie Yang could only feel disgust for her.

She was looking at him with so much love only because he acted like a good child but in reality what she loved was not him but this facade of perfection that he had created.

Her love was also an illusion which disintegrated into bubbles the day he came out to them.

Even after two decades that look full of pure disappointment and disgust was still fresh in his mind as if it had happened just yesterday.

Father Xie looked up from his newspaper to glance at Xie Yang and frowned as he remarked, "Eat quickly or else you'll be late."

After which he turned his attention back onto the newspaper.

'Wow, is that a new record? I have barely even come out of the room and my outfit has already been criticized. They didn't even give me time to reminisce the good times before chastising me.'

Though I guess it's better this way.

Xie Yang took another glance at them before making his way towards the door without saying a word to them.
