Magnus, an innocent man?
That can't be right!
He tried to kill me more than twice. Lied against me, turned my family against each other, made Regina a puppet among so many others we will never know about.
How can he be innocent after all these crimes?
I didn't want him to be innocent. I didn't want to be guilty of calling for the gruesome murder of an innocent man.
"That's not possible. He can't be innocent after all the evil things he did and commanded." Declan replied. His voice was harsh. He too didn't want to believe what Alpha Vincent said.
My heart was thumping hard against my chest as the possibility of Magnus being innocent crossed my mind. The possibility that I made an innocent man go through the worst kind of death.
"How can that be?" Dylan asked. His voice was calm, maybe too calm.
"He–" He paused, and looked around for a while. "We-we were under a spell." He added, stuttering for the first time.
