The bullet pierced through the air at lightning speed towards Evelyn who'd just scoffed, reaching for the phone inside her pocket.
"What now? So he's mad at me?"
The phone slipped off to the floor and the very second she bent to pick it up, the bullet slammed through the window, lodging into the wall on the other side.
It was loud, so much, that she froze where she bent, body trembling rapidly.
"What…wh-what was…"
She forced her head to the side, only to fall on her butt on instinct, crawling back frantically, while a series of other bullets poured in, lodging into the wall and only missing her by a small mark.
The windows were completely shattered.
Whoever was doing this wanted to kill her at all costs.
"ZAYNE! ZAYNE!"
