(Jayden's PoV)
There it is. I finally laid my eyes on the egg, the main priority. Now, what remained was to descend into the treasury room and retrieve the egg, and if possible, every other thing inside the treasury, without triggering any alarms.
I used the Force to look around.
In situations like these, it's best to trust instincts and the Force. Normal senses would not be enough to find the hidden defences and alarms.
It would be stupid and arrogant if I thought I could do everything without the help of the Force. Of course, overly relying on the Force is also a bad thing. Though the Force is essentially the life of the galaxy, I personally believe that one shouldn't be overly reliant on any one thing.
With these greedy bastards, relying on force entirely is the best course, but that doesn't exactly work with the Sith or any other Force Wielder.
Sith and Jedi were not the only ones who could wield the Force. There are other factions as well, but in recent history, those two were the dominant factions, at least in the known galaxy.
Anyway, as both use Force, the Force wouldn't take sides. At that time, one has to depend on their own instincts, experience and other things to face them.
Ah, I was right. The collector rigged everything here. There are explosives attached to everything. It looks like he would rather destroy his things than have others take them.
That was insane, but I can't judge their brains to be working similarly to normal brains.
I deactivated the explosives one by one, first the one placed around the case protecting the egg. After that, I deactivated the ones around other items, one by one.
It took an hour for me to complete the entire disarmement.
After clearing all the explosives and alarms, and making sure there were no more hidden ones, I first released the egg from the treasury.
Seeing that nothing has happened, I collected everything, even the explosives that I disarmed. They would be useful somewhere, at some point in time, or I can just sell them to some mining company.
I cleaned out the treasury. No,w except for the walls, nothing is as it was before.
Well, the secret cameras are the only items I left behind. I hacked them beforehand and looped them with the video recorded from before. I want to get them too. They are very advanced, comparable to the ones in the Jedi Temple.
I want them, but taking them out would disrupt the loop, and to make sure that doesn't happen, I have to spend even more time here, which could disrupt everything. So, control greed.
I already took what I came here for and more than that. So, I decided to ignore the cameras and leave the same way I entered the compound.
Once I left the compound, I signalled my three partners in crime.

"You got it", Vos exclaimed when he laid his eyes on the glass box containing the egg.
I nodded smugly.
Well, acting smug all the time wouldn't be a good thing, but one should act smugly once in a while, or everyone would think that you are just a pushover, a genius pushover.
My master, on the other hand, started to check if I had all my parts intact. It totally burned off my earlier smug expression into cinders.
"Good, you are alright", she exclaimed.
"See, master, I executed everything perfectly. As soon as the egg was reunited with her mother, everything would calm down. So, you should trust me in the future", I spoke to her, bringing my smugness again.
"No, there won't be any such missions like that in the near future. You may be a genius, but you were just a youngling a few weeks ago. So, act like a newbie padawan, instead of like a knight or a master", she said as if there would be no change.
I want to argue with her but now that we got what we have, we need to leave.
If the theft was found before we left, the three would come to know that I stole more than the egg. It would raise questions, questions that I don't want to answer. It might turn into mistrust between us.
So, it's best to leave and not create any problems for myself.
"As you say, master, but we should leave before they find that the egg was missing", I said.
"Yes, we should leave", Vos added.
He knows how black markets work. Though everyone here is a thief and criminal, one can't do such things in the market. It is like a neutral area, and if anyone were found guilty of theft in the black market area, they would be killed on site, or at least that's what Vos told us before coming here, when I put my plan of infiltration before them.
So we quickly boarded our shuttle and left the area.

Aboard the shuttle, I went to my room. I took the egg with me because Vos felt that, since I had bonded with the serpent and I was the one who actually retrieved the egg, I should return it to the serpent.
I didn't say anything against that. It might be good to have some powerful monsters of the galaxy on your side. If need arises, they could be useful.
After I got into my room, the first thing I did was to change into my clothes. Though Secura's clothes looked okay on me, they are still not mine and also belonged to a girl.
I quickly changed and went to sleep. Using the Force and my brain to dismantle all those alarms, weapons and explosives, which strained my mind a lot. I need my beauty sleep.
