(Jayden's PoV)
We have the Egg as required, but I also looted a lot of wealth and some other things from that collector.
I wanted to check them when I was alone, but I fell asleep. I didn't wake up until my master came to wake me up when we arrived at Kashyyyk.
It looks like my body is still too weak to use the Force for such a long time, or maybe it's the dismantling of all those weapons and alarms in a record. The workload is too much, but I believe such situations may recur in the future.
Well, not the sneaking and robbing, but in a war, dismantling of alarms and weapons would be a high priority to reduce deaths of allies and to catch enemies unprepared.
So, I need to increase the strength of my body as quickly as possible, but that's for later. Now that we have reached Kashyyyk, first return the Egg and then help the Wookies to rebuild their destroyed settlements.
Everything else can wait for later.
"A minute master, let me refresh up a bit", I told my master and returned inside to wash.

After we landed on Kashyyyk, there were a few Wookies waiting with rides for us. When those Wookies saw the Egg case, they made some sounds. I can't understand them, but I think they are happy and relieved.
The serpent is, after all, not a common beast. It caused a lot of damage, and they can't let it cause even more damage, unless they can bring big guns, which are not suited to use in Kashyyyk, as they would damage the world as well if used.
Now that the egg was found, the serpent would return to its lair and wouldn't cause any more trouble. The world would return to what it was before.
We took two bikes to reach the place where the serpent was resting for some time.
As soon as we stopped before the serpent, she raised her head, not in anger or sadness that we had seen her a few days ago. She smelled her child. She felt the presence of her child as we appeared near her.
I approached the serpent, placed the case on the ground before opening it, "As promised, we rescued your child and returned it", I spoke to the serpent.
The serpent hissed, probably saying that she was satisfied, and then collected the egg, affectionately rubbing the egg.
There is a line, Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, but I believe it should be a mother than woman.
Take away a mother's child, even heaven may not save you.
I returned to the group, "So, master, what now?"
"Now, we make a report to the council", she said, her voice a bit concerned about something.
What could she be sad about in the scenario? A mother reunited with her child. No matter whether it was human, a wookie or a monster, a mother is a mother.
It should be a happy...oh, wait a damn minute. I totally forgot about Palpatine's interest in such rare creatures, especially ones that are blaster and lightsaber-proof. Moreover, his master should be alive as per canon.
If they learn about this serpent, they would come after it, one way or another. I need to think about this and make sure that good old palpy nor any other idiot, wouldn't ever get to know about this.
It was not just Sith who would kill such creatures, quoting research. There are many who just do so for profit, rather than to save lives. If it were for saving lives, and if there was no way around, then I could understand.
Now I understand what master is worried about. If the existence of such a creature gets into the ears of some profit-minded corporations who operate without thinking about ecological imbalance, then she and her child would be as good as dead.
Even though blasters and lightsabers didn't hurt her, that same point could be a reason for the profit-minded to catch her, and they may use chemicals or other ways to kill her for the resources that can be stripped from her corpse.
It may be strong on the outside, but the insides are a weakness for every biological creature.
I need to find a ruse to convince them to lie on their report, but that's not the problem; the wookies are. They have to present a report to the Senate as well. Even if they lied on the report, a lot of them knew about this. So, news about the serpent could spread, and eventually it could become dangerous.
I need to think of a way so that no one will spread news about this. In fact, it would be best if everyone thought that it was dead and destroyed.
I need a story and a way to make Wookies and the three Jedi tell this story as the truth.
"Master, there is something I would like to speak about", I said.
