How did it end up like this? Reilola rubbed her temples and wondered for the umpteenth time. What did she do to deserve this?
Was it not enough that she was placed in this character card? Why was she tasked to work with Nik? She glanced at her tutee and sighed inwardly.
If it was Roxie, now that would have been a different story, she didn't mind going on an all girls trip to take down some mystical creatures. They could always take a detour and have some fun.
However, with Nik, she might as well be sitting beside a block of ice. It probably would have been warmer.
"We're here," Nik announced politely and Reilola stood up and got off the white carriage. She was always dressed in white.
