"Hahaha, my sister has quite the interesting familiars. Xenovia, you've only recently reincarnated, so this might be presumptuous, but I hope you'll support Rias as her familiar. Please."
"Being asked by the legendary Devil King Lucifer, mentioned in the Bible itself, I can't refuse. I don't know how much I can do, but I'll try my best." Xenovia replied, raising an eyebrow.
Sirzechs smiled at Xenovia's reply.
Afterwards, they went to a hotel for dinner. Arthas apologetically called Souna, explaining the situation. She laughed, saying she was about to contact him to tell him not to come home tonight.
Arthas immediately understood. Sirzechs was here; Serafall must be too.
If he went home, he'd be caught by Leviathan.
Thinking of the Devil King with extreme sister complex, Arthas shuddered at the thought of what she might do if she found out he'd already… you know… with her sister.
After dinner, Sirzechs and Grayfia's lodging became an issue, but Arthas quickly found a solution.
Azazel's house was spacious enough.
Sirzechs readily agreed, seeming enthusiastic about occupying his old friend's residence.
Azazel's human residence was empty; he wasn't home. Sirzechs looked disappointed.
Grayfia chose a room, but Sirzechs didn't join his wife. He went to Arthas's room.
"I want to discuss something. Did I interrupt?"
Sirzechs smiled. Arthas shook his head.
"Good. You've met Azazel, right?"
"Yes."
Arthas nodded.
"He didn't do anything? Say anything interesting?"
"Nothing substantial. I think the Fallen Angel Governor is insane."
Arthas said slowly. Sirzechs looked puzzled.
"Why do you say that?"
"He came to see me, said nothing meaningful, and left with a cryptic 'I look forward to our next meeting.' Isn't that insane?"
Arthas chuckled. Sirzechs looked amused.
"It's strange, but not surprising for Azazel. Be careful; he's obsessed with divine artifacts. Yours is likely an unknown Divine Dividing Class; he won't ignore it."
"Even so, he wouldn't act now, would he? Azazel might be eccentric, but the three-faction negotiations are important. He shouldn't cause trouble."
Arthas said. Sirzechs nodded.
"Don't worry. Sirzechs is unpredictable but conservative. He might want to use your artifact, but he has many options. He's not as war-hungry as Kokabiel. In the Great War, the Fallen Angels were the first to cease hostilities. Azazel is relatively reliable."
Arthas nodded. Kokabiel had mentioned Azazel's lack of interest in war. He wouldn't cause trouble during such a sensitive time.
That didn't mean Azazel wouldn't cause trouble later. Arthas was a potential threat, even to the Angels.
If given the chance, Azazel would likely eliminate him discreetly.
Seeming to sense Arthas's thoughts, Sirzechs smiled.
"Don't worry, I'll ensure your safety. A rare miracle has occurred in our devilish ranks. You'll receive special treatment. And my sister values you greatly. I rarely see Rias so happy. She must be very happy, thanks to you."
"I didn't do much."
Arthas chuckled awkwardly. Sirzechs didn't seem to mind.
"The three-faction negotiations are nothing to worry about. Let's talk about something personal."
Sirzechs smiled. Arthas paused. Personal matters?
Rias…? Was he entrusting his sister to him?
But Sirzechs's "personal matter" wasn't about Rias.
"What do you think of Grayfia?"
Arthas's expression changed. He tried to guess Sirzechs's intentions.
It was strange. Talking about personal matters late at night, then asking about his wife… what was going on?
"Grayfia… she's excellent. The perfect maid…"
Arthas honestly expressed his feelings. Grayfia was special; she reminded him of Ravel.
Arthas realized he was weak against maternal figures, but he suppressed his feelings, knowing she was Sirzechs's wife.
"I see… what if I asked you to take care of Grayfia?"
As Arthas pondered Sirzechs's intentions, his words struck him.
"What… what are you saying?!"
Arthas stared, incredulous, at Sirzechs, the renowned Devil King, asking him to… take care of his wife.
The implication was clear, though the phrasing was indirect.
