Arthas couldn't understand. He stared at Sirzechs, waiting for an explanation.
"This is a secret between Grayfia and me. I'm telling you this; please keep it confidential."
Sirzechs said. Arthas nodded. Sirzechs began to explain.
As one of the Four Great Satan Kings, and the strongest Devil King in history, Sirzechs Lucifer possessed overwhelming power, surpassing normal Devil King levels even in his youth.
After becoming the Devil King Lucifer and inheriting his predecessor's power, his strength increased further, causing a qualitative change in the destructive power within him.
Sirzechs inherited the power of destruction from his mother's family, the Baal family. This power was immensely strong and domineering. Before, Sirzechs could control it, preventing it from harming his loved ones.

Arthas chuckled, rubbing his nose, unsure what to say.
Sirzechs's selfless love for Grayfia deeply moved him. To give his beloved wife to another man for her happiness… who could do that?
"What? You won't agree? Don't worry about Rias; she won't find out. I won't interfere with your relationship with Rias. The girl likes you, I can see that. And Souna… you're quite lucky with the ladies."
"Sirzechs-sama said that, how can I refuse? But Grayfia… she'd never agree."
Arthas chuckled, unable to comprehend Sirzechs's logic. Giving Grayfia to him, and not caring about his sister's feelings…
The relationships were complicated. Grayfia was Rias's sister-in-law; he was Rias's familiar…
"Grayfia… don't worry, she's my wife. I decide."
Before Arthas could respond, a cold voice echoed.
"I disagree!"
Grayfia, her face icy, appeared, staring coldly at Sirzechs.
"Grayfia… you're here."
Sirzechs acted as if he knew she was eavesdropping.
"I told you not to mention this again!"
"I… I'm doing this for you."
"It's unnecessary. I'm your woman, Sirzechs Lucifer's woman. Don't do anything that would disgrace the name of Lucifer!"
Arthas awkwardly rubbed his nose, watching the couple, feeling superfluous.
He sensed Grayfia's coldness. Her only reason for remaining Sirzechs's wife was to protect Lucifer's reputation.
