"You probably don't know this, Snow Empress," Huo Yuhao said, the corners of his mouth curling into a meaningful smile. "That one... she actually has a connection with Tang San from ten thousand years ago."
Under Snow Empress's curious gaze, Huo Yuhao continued explaining calmly.
"Ten thousand years ago, during Tang San's Sea God Trials, he killed a million-year sea soul beast—the Deep Sea Demonic Whale King. And the being now rapidly approaching us from afar... is none other than the wife of that Deep Sea Demonic Whale King. That's a grudge for a dead husband. She definitely wouldn't let that go."
Hearing this, Snow Empress couldn't help but twitch the corner of her lips. "Revenge? Tang San is already a lofty god now. What, is she going to climb the God Realm ladder just to go get him?"
Huo Yuhao snapped his fingers. "Exactly. And that's the key point, Snow Empress. She knows she can't take revenge by herself anymore. But... I can help her. If she becomes my spirit soul and assists me in attaining the position of a god, once I wield the authority of Creation, giving her a chance to confront Tang San directly—what's so impossible about that?"

But Snow Empress held her breath—because she knew this wasn't nonsense. This was Huo Yuhao. And with him... anything could become reality.

Huo Yuhao's expression darkened slightly. He wasn't too surprised, though. He nodded solemnly. "I see. With power like hers, I'm not surprised. It looks like we've got no way to avoid a hard fight. If I want her to submit and become my spirit soul, then I'll need to defeat her first."
"Exactly," Snow Empress agreed, eyes cold. "I'll go prepare for battle."
Huo Yuhao nodded. "I'm counting on you. I'll notify the fleet to activate full-power linked soul tool defenses. Try to shift the battleground far from the ships. I'll jump in when necessary."
"Got it. Then I'd best hurry." With that, her figure vanished from his spiritual sea.
Huo Yuhao immediately refocused on the outside world. Inside the command center of the warship, the room had already descended into chaos. On the soul tool detection monitor, the previously yellow warning marker had turned an alarming red, indicating a rapidly approaching high-threat entity.
Warning sirens echoed throughout the room.
"An energy level like this... can we really stop it?!"
"It's too much..."
"Is this where the empire's navy falls?"
"Don't speak like that! The Chief Architect is still with us!"
Standing beside Huo Yuhao, Admiral Shi Dongsheng cast him a worried glance. "Your Excellency..."
But Huo Yuhao raised a hand, stopping him. With a calm smile, he turned to face the gathered senior officers.
"There's no need to panic, everyone," he said, voice firm. "Yes, the incoming enemy is unimaginably powerful. But you must believe in the defenses we built. The linked soul tool shield system designed by the Mingde Hall is rock solid. Once fully activated, it can withstand any force short of a god descending from the heavens."
In an instant, the panic in the command center began to dissipate. After all, in today's Sun Moon Empire, there was no voice more authoritative than Huo Yuhao's.
Then came the next line. A single sentence that pierced everyone's hearts like a shot of adrenaline.
"Moreover... the former Queen of the Extreme North, the Snow Empress, has entered the field. Any foolish sea soul beast daring to attack our fleet shall fall beneath her icy judgment."
His words echoed through the chamber like a glacier cracking apart. The room fell deathly silent, until finally—
"Snow... Snow Empress!?"
"You mean the legendary beast who reached 700,000 years of cultivation?!"
"That's outdated! Rumor has it she's crossed into the 800,000 range, already rivaling Di Tian himself!"
"The stories were true... the Snow Empress really is on our side!"
With the command center under control, Huo Yuhao gave a satisfied nod and turned to Shi Dongsheng. "Admiral Shi, initiate full activation of the shield system and have the fleet begin retreating. Snow Empress will do her best to keep the battle away from the ships. Under no circumstances should anyone attempt to intervene."
His voice was low, just loud enough for Shi Dongsheng to hear. But his serious expression conveyed everything. The battle that was coming was beyond anything this world had seen—it was not something any manmade defense could hope to withstand.
"Understood, sir. And... please take care of yourself. The empire can lose many things, but not you."
Huo Yuhao paused, surprised by the heartfelt words. Then he simply smiled and disappeared from the command center in a flash.
At the same time, Shi Dongsheng turned back to begin issuing emergency orders across the entire fleet.
The battle was coming.
And this time, the opponent... was a monster of legend.
