Fred stopped the car right in front of the apartment building, instead of the garage, making Anna raise a suspicious brow in question.
"What's happening, Fred?" She demanded and Fred looked confused at the question. "First, you didn't let me go back to work and insisted I have to come back home and now we're here and Aidan is nowhere to be found. Where the hell is he?!"
"I'm sorry, ma'am. Mr. Klein instructed me to drive you home first before coming to pick him up."
That was understandable, Anna noted but where was he?
"Then why didn't he come with us? Where is he now?" She asked again but Fred was silent.
He looked like he didn't know and he was just following orders. With a sigh, Anna stepped out and watched him drive off.
She turned to the building and moved to the elevator, while dialing Aidan's number. It rang several times but he wasn't picking up.
