Konohagakure was attacked by the Nine-Tailed Fox one week ago. The whole village was in ruins. Everyone suspected the Uchiha clan to be behind the attack, so the Uchiha compound was shifted to the outskirts of the village. With the Fourth Hokage and many skilled jonin and chunin dead, the responsibility of the village was now on the shoulders of the Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi.
Inside the newly established Uchiha compound, there was an old and small house where a boy named Kazuki Uchiha lived.
Suddenly, while Kazuki was having dinner, he felt a sharp pain in his head and collapsed, falling unconscious. When he woke up, it was already noon, and he was shocked by his surroundings.
Kazuki panicked. "WHAT THE HELL! W-was I kidnapped? And how am I a child?! These memories... they are not mine."
After sorting through the foreign memories, Kazuki let out a sigh and thought, 'Looks like I'm cooked. I've been transmigrated into the world of Naruto... and in the body of an Uchiha who is just 5 years old. It could've been any damn clan, but why the Uchiha clan — the one that's going to be destroyed in a few years?'
After a moment of analyzing, Kazuki's thought. 'The most shocking—and probably a good thing—is that Kazuki is a half-blood. That means he's half Uzumaki and half Uchiha. Since his parents died in the Third Great Ninja War, he's faced discrimination throughout his life for being a half blood and lives alone here in this shitty apartment.'
He groaned internally. 'Aw man, I mean, I like challenges, but isn't this a bit too much? No matter how much I train, there's no way I'll get as strong as Obito or Itachi in just 8 years. So the only choice left is to not get emotionally attached to anyone and save myself somehow. Anyways, I'll think about that later.'
His eyes lit up a little. 'And I am excited about the academy. Turns out I'll probably be in the same class as Itachi. But for that to happen, I'll have to train hard for a year, since I can only join the academy at six years of age.'
Kazuki stood up and said, "Let's explore the town for now. This kid has around 600 Ryo saved up — I wonder how much is that worth."
With that, Kazuki began strolling through the streets of Konoha. 'Man, I gotta find Ichiraku. I really wanna know why Naruto was so obsessed with it.'
After walking for a bit, Kazuki finally came across Ichiraku. He went inside and saw Teuchi behind the counter.
Teuchi smiled. "Hey, young one! Here for a fresh bowl of ramen?"
Kazuki replied, "Yeah, I'll have a bowl of Miso Tonkotsu ramen, please."
Teuchi, already starting to prepare, said, "Right away."
After a few moments, Teuchi served the ramen to Kazuki. As he took his first bite, Kazuki's eyes widened in astonishment. He was so amazed by the taste that he lost all sense of time and quickly finished the entire bowl. He suddenly stood up and shouted,
"UMAI!"
The shop fell silent. Everyone turned to stare at him. Embarrassed, Kazuki tried to hide his face.
Teuchi chuckled and broke the silence, "I'm happy you liked it this much, kiddo. I hope you'll visit again."
Kazuki, still flustered, nodded, "Sure."
[A/N – 'UMAI' is a Japanese word that means 'delicious.' For those who didn't understand, it was a Demon Slayer reference.]
After paying Teuchi 100 Ryo for the ramen, Kazuki left the shop and headed to a nearby ninja weapons store. He bought a chakra paper for 250 Ryo and continued walking home. On the way, he passed the Ninja Academy, which looked massive compared to its appearance in the anime.
Eventually, he reached home and sat down, holding the chakra paper in his hand. 'So what will my affinity be? Most Uchiha have fire as their main affinity, so I guess I'll have the same.'
He placed the chakra paper between his hands and focused his chakra into it. As expected, the chakra paper burned and turned into ash.
Kazuki frowned. "Damn! I wanted lightning affinity."
After a brief silence, he sighed and muttered, "Guess I'll just have to train in fire jutsus. As much as I remember, there were many fire-type jutsu — since this is the Land of Fire. At least there's one good thing."
Kazuki looked out the window. "It's evening already. Let's just meditate and focus on chakra for today... and start proper training from tomorrow."
