Not long after Tony Stark and the other participants left, T'Challa finally arrived at the Answerers' Base. He was naturally received by Nick Fury, Black Widow, and the others, so there was no need to elaborate.
As for Scott Lang?
They still couldn't get in touch with him.
Later, after some investigation, they discovered that this guy had actually been thrown into prison for theft, which left everyone utterly speechless.
Scott Lang, it seemed, had truly committed to the path of stealing—no turning back whatsoever.
Fortunately, just a few days later, Scott Lang mysteriously vanished from prison. Soon after, he contacted Tony Stark and made his way to the Answerers' Base.
Just as everyone had guessed, Scott Lang had already obtained the Ant-Man suit from Hank Pym and officially become the second-generation Ant-Man.
After sharing information with the group, Scott Lang temporarily bade everyone farewell and returned to Hank Pym's place to undergo comprehensive training under Hank and his daughter.
This included mastering the Ant-Man suit, commanding ants in battle, combat training, and a whole series of intense drills—more than enough to keep Scott Lang busy.
Over the course of three full months of brutal training, Scott Lang underwent a complete transformation.
By now, he could use the suit at will, command various ants to fight in coordination, and his hand-to-hand combat skills had improved dramatically.
With the addition of the size-altering laser gun and the Ice Blue Aria, his combat power had fully reached the level of a true superhero.
At this point, Hank Pym felt the timing was right. He could no longer hold back.
He was ready to act.
"Scott!"
Scott Lang, who was in the middle of training, was called into the room by a stern-looking Hank Pym.
Hope glanced at her father, understood immediately, and followed him inside with a serious expression.
"Although you're still a bit green, I've seen enough progress in you," Hank Pym said solemnly to Scott Lang. "I think it's time."
From the day Hank Pym rescued Scott Lang from prison, he had made his purpose clear—to enlist Scott's help for a series of operations.
Scott Lang had agreed long ago.
"Really? I've been wondering how long you planned to wait," Scott Lang said, visibly excited.
After all, this would be his debut as the second-generation Ant-Man. He had been quietly looking forward to it.
"Great. Looks like you're ready," Hank Pym nodded, opening a set of prepared files to brief Scott Lang.
A series of portraits appeared on the screen.
"This is—" Hank Pym began.
"This is Mitchell Carson, former head of SHIELD's Defense Department. I know him," Scott Lang interrupted halfway. "These people have repeatedly tried to control destabilizing weapons. Classic bad guys."
A hint of surprise appeared on Hank Pym's face. He hadn't expected Scott Lang to have this level of insight.
"If you already know who he is, then you should understand why I must steal the Wasp suit," Hank Pym continued.
"If the Wasp suit falls into their hands, the world will descend into chaos."
"Okay, then we steal the Wasp suit," Scott Lang shrugged. "So what's the plan?"
"First, we need to retrieve the prototype of a signal disguiser," Hank Pym said, pulling out a blueprint. "I invented it back when I worked at SHIELD."
"We'll use it to counter the communication jamming system in the Future Labs vault. That thing's been collecting dust in Howard Stark's lab."
"In upstate New York—should be easy."
"Yeah, easy," Scott Lang replied with a mysterious grin. "I just need to make a phone call."
"What do you mean?" Hank Pym frowned slightly.
"The device is in an old SHIELD warehouse, right? Funny thing—I happen to have a bit of a connection with Nick Fury," Scott Lang said smugly.
"You're saying you know Nick Fury? That Nick Fury?" Hank Pym thought Scott was joking.
"That's the one."
Scott Lang covered one eye with his hand, doing a quick Nick Fury cosplay, then dialed Fury's number right in front of Hank Pym—on speaker.
He told Fury directly that he needed the prototype from SHIELD's old warehouse.
"No problem. I'll have it arranged. You can come pick it up anytime," Nick Fury replied, astonishingly straightforward.
"Problem solved. Told you—easy," Scott Lang said with a shrug.
Hank Pym and Hope Pym both wore expressions like they'd just swallowed a bug.
This kid could pull strings with the Director of SHIELD?
Wasn't he supposed to be a total loser?
When did he become this ridiculous?
"Alright, Lang, I've got a guest here. We'll talk later," Nick Fury said from the other end, ending the call.
Just as Fury hung up, a tall man with long blond hair and a flowing red cape pushed the door open.
It was Thor.
"Nick Fury, my father and I are ready. What about the others?" Thor asked bluntly.
"We're notifying them now. Have a seat," Fury replied, already making calls to gather the Answerers.
Over the past three months, Thor had convinced Odin. Everyone had made full preparations for dealing with Hela.
Now, everything was ready. It was time to act.
About half an hour later, Tony Stark, Captain America, Bruce Banner, and the others arrived. Another heavyweight also joined—Vision.
Star-Lord was still off-world, but he connected via video.
Once again, they gathered together.
"Thor, I've sent you the coordinates. I'm already on the planet. It's a bit cold here, so hurry up," Star-Lord said.
This planet had been carefully selected over the past three months—small, remote, and perfect for the plan.
Most of the details had already been discussed. After a brief meeting, they wasted no time and set off.
"Heimdall!"
They moved into the courtyard. Thor called out, and Heimdall teleported everyone to Asgard.
They boarded a prepared Asgardian ship.
Odin, the All-Father, was already waiting inside.
"Warriors of Earth, thank you for all you've done for Thor and for Asgard," Odin said sincerely, like a kindly old man.
For some reason, he seemed less imposing than before—more like the frail figure seen hiding away in Norway.
Everyone felt a twinge of sadness. They all knew this legendary ruler didn't have much time left.
Once everyone was aboard, the ship departed.
Odin and Thor spoke of Asgard and the Nine Realms, the atmosphere calm and relaxed.
Soon, they reached their destination.
Star-Lord quickly joined them.
"Finally! This place is freezing," he complained.
Tony Stark immediately deployed drones to scan the planet.
Soon, they identified the optimal location for planting explosives.
These weren't nukes, but a massive custom bomb developed by Tony—more than enough to destroy the planet.
Robotic diggers drilled deep, planted the bomb, and restored the surface without leaving a trace.
"Okay," Tony said, flashing an OK sign. "All set. The bomb's ready anytime. Odin—release your daughter."
"Father… let Hela out," Thor said gravely.
"My eldest daughter… I never imagined this would be how we meet again," Odin sighed.
Still, this decision had long been made. With a wave of his hand, a swirling energy vortex appeared.
A terrifying presence emerged—and Hela stepped out.
Green armor, long black hair, heavy eye makeup, and the aura of a queen.
"Hela," Odin said softly.
"You've grown old, Odin," Hela sneered, scanning the group. "These are your allies? On some forgotten rock? How far you've fallen."
"Thor," she mocked, "you don't look much like him."
"Enough," Tony snapped. "Green sea witch—today, you die."
Hela hurled a blade. Tony blasted it apart.
The fight began.
Thor and Vision engaged Hela, while the others retreated to the ship.
Unable to fly, Hela could only watch them escape.
Moments later—
BOOM!
The planet—and Hela—were annihilated.
"She's gone," Odin said quietly.
The mission succeeded.
Later, Thor hosted a feast in Asgard. Afterward, everyone returned to their lives.
Tony built armor. Thor tracked Thanos. Cap and SHIELD hunted HYDRA. T'Challa became king. Scott Lang stole the Wasp suit.
And somewhere in Queens, a teenager named Peter Parker got bitten by a spider.
That night, he found himself in a white void—with Captain America and Tony Stark.
And then, the question appeared:
[Question: After the Endgame battle, what is Captain America's final fate?]
A. Dies of old age, aloneB. Dies fighting criminalsC. Lives out his life with Peggy CarterD. Loses purpose and freezes himself
