(3rd PoV)
(28th September 1947)
The idea of Pakistan under the Two Nation Theory was given by Syed Ahmed Khan, a traitor who supported the British during the First War of Independence(1857), and also helped them in developing their Divide and Rule tactics.
He wasn't really popular, but his ideas were used by Muslim League and British government into creating Pakistan.
After WW2, not only British didn't have the financial capacity to maintain control over India, but they also shot themselves in the head by conducting Red Fort Trial of the three generals of INA under Subhash Chandra Bose, letting the whole country know that an army was actually trying to free India.
Police and soldiers boycotted their posts, and Navy even rebelled.
If that wasn't enough, in 1946, British intentionally called elections with separate electorates, and only allowing the small segment of adults who owned property, taxpayers, and/or those had some educational qualification. Meaning only 10-12% of Indians.
It was done so that the muslims who didn't have any problem in surviving due to poverty, and had the time to think about Pakistan would form most of the vote.
Even then, Indian National Congress still got the full majority necessary to form the government of their own.
That's why Muslim League under Jinnah started genocide. And instead of arresting them, they forcefully and undemocratically made them the part of interim government and gave them many ministries.
And even just a month ago, they blocked India's entry into UNSC's security council so that India doesn't overpower Pakistan.
Pakistan was created not for Muslims, because it is against Shias, Sufis, Ahmedias, and every non-Sunni sect. It is also against the Muslims of Balochistan, Pashtun Khaber, Sindh, and Bengal.
It is a power grab of genocidal and power hungry extremists, and British trying to maintain control.
Still, in Pakistan, Jinnah has gotten bad publicity. He hadn't expected India's PM Krishna Kumar to go to UN the next day after independence. Thankfully UK fully supported him in getting to be the onserver in that session and even speaking against India.
If not for UK's veto, India would have become a permanent member of UNSC.
But while India biycotten UN and left the organization with arrogance that UN doesn't deserve India since it failed to give India the permanent seat, Pakistan failed to even become a member due to his unpreparedness.
When the Indian government newspaper announced that no communal laws and such will be there, and got rid of Sharia, Waqf, and put state control over all religious institutions, Pakistan obviously protested.
But it only just led to more people coming to Pakistan, and even convincing Sikhs to retaliate against India for putting Gurudwaras under state control didn't work.
Afterall, Pakistan genocided Sikhs and is occupying cities like Lahore and Kartarpur, which India has promised to bring back to India.
India is clearly provoking for war.
While Pakistan was busy, the Indian Army has already reached Jammu and Kashmir and are kicking out the extremist tribes to Pakistan, that Pakistan had planned to use in capturing Jammu and Kashmir so that India can't block its water.
And the Indian PM has also promised East Pakistan that Bengal will be united under India once again.
Jinnah stood in Dhaka, giving his speech.
"Bengal will be united! But not under India! But under Pakistan!"
He didn't understand that him imposing Urdu as the national language isn't really well received.
India has started focusing on the Western front, so he has decided that fighting from the eastern front will be better.
In a month, Pakistan will invade from East Bengal to capture West Bengal.
And in the eastern front, there is an excess of people than Pakistan can handle. If a few more people die, it wouldn't be bad for Pakistan.
Abdul Gaffar Khan has already been areested, and the Pashtun and Kashmiri tribes which have arrived in Pakistan are also ready to strike.
Jinnah had tried to get Hyderabad's Nizam and Junagadh's king to join Pakistan, but no communication is reaching, even through British channels.
Still, Pakistan has more international support right now.
Not only from islamic countries, but also from UK and USA, since India brought churches into state control and arrested Mother Teresa.
But right now, it's important to invade Balochistan-
As he has finished his speech and was drinking water, suddenly a messenger came running.
"Jinnah ji! Gandhi ji has entered Pakistan, and has started a protest in Lahore!"
"WHAT!? How did he get in Pakistan!?"
"He just suddenly appeared there! Without any announcement! He must have been sneaked into Lahore along with the people migrating..."
Jinnah gritted his teeth.
"We are leaving!"
He has to go to Lahore and kick Gandhi out of Pakistan!
-----------------------------------
Gandhi wanted to head to Pakistan publicly, but fearing that he would be killed on border, he was smuggled into Pakistan with a disguise.
He also agreed, since his going to Pakistan was necessary.
Today, he arrived in Lahore, and started his protest on the entrance of Lahore Fort.
"Today, I am fasting until death! Everyone stop where you are and return to your homes! Pakistan should merge back into India! We need to stop this madness!"
At the same time, Indian government requested Pakistan to provide full protection to Gandhiji.
Moreover, a circular was released to temporarily halt migration to Pakistan. Though a circular was released for all non-muslims to migrate to India.
"Please stay where you are, everyone. Mr Jinnah, please agree to Gandhiji, and stop your greed. You have killed millions for your greed and hunger for power. This is the last chance you will get to lessen your sins."
As Jinnah landed on Lahore airport and heard this, he was pissed.
He immediately headed to Lahore Fort.
Since Gandhi had arrived unannounced, the police was having difficulty maintaining security.
A mob has formed around Gandhi who has sat on the ground, unmoving and unfazed despite the mob out to kill him.
Just as Jinnah was about to reach the place, the police got overwhelmed, shooting at the public didn't work anymore, and the mob got Gandhi.
On 28th September 1947, Mohandas Karmchand Gandhi was killed by a mob of Pakistani people, at 15:13 Indian Standard Time, in front of Lahore Fort.
