Tianyu soared high above the vast expanse of green grass, feeling the gentle wind brushing against his face. Every movement of his wings radiated waves of energy that exuded majesty and power. He felt as if he were a part of nature itself, connected to every element around him.
Qian Renxue watched him with a gaze filled with admiration.
Tianyu landed gently on the ground, his wings still spread wide behind him. He clenched his fists, sensing an energy that was different from when he used his Golden Dragon King Martial Soul.
Qian Renxue approached, her smile brimming with pride. "Just as I expected from my disciple. I knew you could handle it," she said, her voice soft yet full of conviction. "Now, what is the name of your Martial Soul?"
Tianyu opened his eyes and looked up at the sky, feeling the power surging within him. At that moment, he sensed a fusion of light and darkness, of grandeur and mystery. "Eclipsed Seraph," he answered firmly, his voice full of confidence.
"Eclipsed Seraph," Qian Renxue repeated, nodding with understanding. "A name that perfectly fits the power you possess. It reflects the duality within you—light that still shines despite being surrounded by darkness."
"What should I do next, Sister Xue?" he asked, his eyes glowing with eagerness.
"For now, you need to study your Martial Soul's power more deeply. We must understand its full potential before deciding your future path."
Tianyu nodded obediently.
Qian Renxue continued, "Now, release your Eclipsed Seraph form. After that, show me your Golden Dragon King Martial Soul."
Tianyu released his current form. The magnificent black and white wings on his back slowly dissolved into particles of light and shadow, then disappeared into the air. In seconds, the aura of the Eclipsed Seraph vanished completely, leaving behind a deep silence.
He closed his eyes for a moment, stabilizing his breath, then opened them again. Golden light began to radiate from his body. A much more dominant aura, full of spiritual pressure, burst forth from him, shaking the air around him. On his back, the silhouette of a massive golden dragon appeared, exuding tremendous power.
Unlike the graceful and nature-attuned Eclipsed Seraph, the aura of the Golden Dragon King was like that of a god demanding all beings submit under the heavens.
"Now, show me your power," Qian Renxue said.
Tianyu nodded. Soul rings appeared beneath his feet. He raised his hand and pointed forward. Energy gathered in his palm, forming a blade. Then he swung his hand.
The golden energy blade shot toward the ground at incredible speed, leaving a glowing trail in the air. When it hit the surface, the blade tore through the earth and everything in its path with tremendous force. Dust and shards of rock exploded into the air, creating a long glowing scar on the ground.
The energy wave from the blade continued to ripple outward, destroying everything it passed. Grass split apart, and small trees fell due to the blast's sheer power.
Qian Renxue asked with keen interest, "Can you explain the effect of that ability in more detail? I can sense a special energy within that blade."
Tianyu nodded slightly. "My first soul ability is to form an energy blade and launch it at the enemy. This blade isn't an ordinary attack. It can bypass physical defenses. The only way to block it is with a shield or protection made entirely of energy. As for its limits, I'm not sure yet."
Qian Renxue nodded slowly, her expression satisfied. "A piercing attack… a natural enemy for soul masters who rely on physical strength. Very good! Just as expected from a god's legacy. What name do you want to give this ability?"
Tianyu felt a sense of pride rise within him at Qian Renxue's praise. After all, even though he had inherited the Golden Dragon King's memories, his mental age was still six. "I'll call this ability Golden Dragon Splitter."
"Golden Dragon Splitter," Qian Renxue repeated. "A perfect name for such a powerful ability. With this piercing capability, you can face various kinds of enemies—especially those who rely on brute strength."
Afterward, they began to test the attributes of Tianyu's two Martial Souls.
Qian Renxue observed carefully, then spoke with an analytical tone. "From what I've seen, the main attribute of your Golden Dragon King Martial Soul is strength. It's a very pure and dominant power, but… there's something I can't fully detect yet. Perhaps there's a hidden attribute, or something that will awaken in the future."
She then shifted to discuss the other Martial Soul.

"These attributes aren't just powerful—they're rare, especially for someone to possess more than one. With Eclipsed Seraph, you'll have a qualitative advantage against anyone who uses even one of those four elements. Even if their cultivation level is higher, you can still defeat them, as long as the gap isn't too wide."
Qian Renxue fell silent for a moment, her gaze sharpening, as if she were formulating a strategy. Tianyu didn't interrupt her. He knew all too well—Sister Xue was thinking about the best training path for him.
After a short pause, Qian Renxue began to speak again in a firm tone.
"I'll train you using the Eclipsed Seraph Martial Soul first. Martial Souls with supreme power attributes, like your Golden Dragon King, are generally easier to develop. Moreover, you're the reincarnation of the Golden Dragon King—that power is already a part of you."
She looked at Tianyu seriously before continuing.

With those words, Qian Renxue reverted back into the form of an ancient sword and embedded herself into the ground beside Tianyu.
Tianyu took a deep breath. Although training with the Eclipsed Seraph Martial Soul had only just begun, he knew the road ahead would be far from easy. But before truly focusing on that Martial Soul, there was one important thing he wanted to achieve first—condensing the second soul ring of the Golden Dragon King Martial Soul!
In truth, his soul power had already reached level 20 ever since he first awakened his Martial Soul. However, at that time, he had not yet succeeded in transforming all of his blood into golden blood—a mandatory requirement to condense even the first soul ring.

With steady breathing and firm steps, Tianyu began walking around the outskirts of the city. He carried the heavy stone on his shoulders while synchronizing his breathing with a specific rhythm that aided his training.
