Wheat Manor, home to Demeter Familia, a farming Familia that supplies 90% of the city's food, making them the most important force in Orario.
Even if the two kings are lost or the greatest forging Familia is gone, Orario will still continue to exist and has a chance to rise again. But if Demeter Familia was gone, the food supply would drop, leading the city to hunger and ruin.
That's why, if this Familia is targeted by other forces, every Familia in the city will hunt down the people who have bad intentions toward them, making Demeter Familia the most guarded Familia in the city.
In the dark age, they were the only Familia untouched, thanks to the protection of other Familias and the Guild.
Whoever tried to eliminate them to trigger discord was quietly dealt with, the Guild's and Familias' handiwork.
They are also one of only three Familias who have close ties with the Guild. They are practically subordinates, but not officially. Those three Familias are: Demeter Familia, who supplied 70% of food in the Old World; Hephaestus Familia, the richest and best forging force in the Old World; and Athena Familia, who rules the third strongest nation in the Old World and is one of only two countries to possess weapons of mass destruction that could reach any target in the Old World.
These weapons are called Dragon's Smite. No one knows its full capability, but one thing is for sure—this weapon is a destroyer of nations, proven 800 years ago, and could potentially destroy the Old World.
Wheat Manor, Demeter Familia's headquarters and home, is a large mansion surrounded by a vast courtyard and a garden of flowers. A wall about 3 meters tall surrounds the estate, forming a large square stretching hundreds of hectares. The manor is a large rectangular structure with minimal design, made of white stone bricks.
The manor's walls are white, with red pillars made of solid cement. It has large square windows and dark wooden doors.
Red rose vines climb the walls like veins, blooming red roses scattered throughout.
Guest Room.
John sat at the table facing goddess Demeter. On the table were tea and snacks.
"Now we're alone, let's get to it," Demeter said in a playful and misleading tone.
John didn't flinch in the slightest.
Demeter didn't mind his blank reaction and continued speaking.
"First, what's your name, young man?" Demeter asked.
"John Alver."
"A good name. How about age, favorite color, food, hobby, and your taste in girls?" Demeter continued.
She began to bombard him with flirtatious, personal, and offhanded questions far from the topic.
Demeter might be playful and act clueless and ditsy, but she was actually cunning and sharp, hiding it under a gentle nature. She was kind but not a fool. She always tested people who joined her Familia, observed her surroundings, and was aware of things no one else noticed—seeing things others didn't see.
She was observant and reading everything about me through my actions and expressions, which I didn't hide. I was successfully getting a good impression from her.
Each minute and hour, each word we exchanged, the longer we chatted, the brighter her smile became.
"So, you achieved this result by using minerals and magic-related materials, crushed them, and made them into a fertilizer—that is brilliant," Demeter said.
"That's what I did to those carrots. This technique is also possible for other plants."
"You are a once-in-a-millennium farming genius. That's enough for me to know. Remove your clothes and lay down, I will start engraving my Falna," she said, resting her hands on her cheeks with a sweet smile. She was extremely eager to take me in and couldn't hold back her excitement at recruiting a genius farmer who could cultivate divine crops. Her gentle and motherly aura disappeared, and she lunged toward me like an arrow, hugging me tightly like a vise grip. Her hands wrapped around my neck, and her thick thighs wrapped around my waist. Her face showed unclear desire.
"Goddess Demeter, calm down. If someone saw us now, they might get the wrong idea."
Demeter looked at me with innocence. "What do you mean? I am just helping you take off your clothes, is there any problem with that?" Then she continued what she was doing.
She pushed me down to the chair and rode on me.
"Problems?" Girl, are you doing this on purpose? You are practically glued to me. I'm on the chair, and you're sitting on my lap, your legs hugging my waist while removing my clothes, your voluptuous figure trying to wake up my dragon.
I was tempted to pin her down right there, but I held back.
If someone who didn't know anything barged in and saw this scene, it would be over.
I sighed and calmed her down. How?
By waking up her shyness. This tactic is not effective on all women, meaning it might not work. However, based on my observation and conversation with her, this tactic would be effective.
I wrapped my hands around her waist and closed my face to hers. Our foreheads met, and our lips were inches apart. Her sweet breath wafted into my nose, just a slight movement away from a kiss.
Her excitement cooled the moment I did this. Her eagerness was swept away and replaced by overwhelming shame. Her cheeks turned red.
She coughed, stepped back, returned to her seat, fixed her wrinkled clothes caused by our bodies clinging together, and drank tea like nothing had happened.
A moment of silence fell.
"Okay, you can lay down. I'll start engraving the Falna," she said, acting cool like nothing happened.
I didn't point out her poor acting and did what she said.
I stood up and laid on the sofa in the corner, my back facing upward.
Demeter quietly and calmly sat on my back, pressing her soft and thick rear and thighs on me.
The sensation was good, and my body was about to react, but I held it in. If I didn't, that would be the end of all things. My insatiable lust would erupt, engulfing everything and affecting all the beautiful girls—only good-looking ones, my lust is picky.
I yawned.
I was a bit sleepy, so I fell asleep while Demeter continued to engrave Falna. The process was a bit long, a result of the upgrade done by Ouranos—the Elder of all the gods, the strongest in heaven, the oldest one, and one of the 9 Primordial Gods of Tenkai.
Demeter focused on her work while I slept.
