Early in the morning.
In an alleyway, a black door appeared out of nowhere. On its doorknob, there was a creature engraved on it. This creature resembled a dragon, and within the dragon, there was a word. It said, "15th Tier."
This engraving symbolized the level of power contained behind the door and the door itself. 15th Tier is ??? Level.
The black color symbolized what kind of door it was and what it contained. Above the door, there was a code—a combination of letters and numbers. This code was the door's identity. There was no other door like it unless its wielder decided to use one of the effects of the magic that created this door or to create a replica of it.
This door was the product of John's magic and also a skill—Gate of the Door. This magic falls under three categories: it was considered a magic, a skill, and an ability. Despite being under multiple categories, it was ultimately created through magic.
The black wooden door slowly opened, revealing a spiraling vortex of a black portal. From it walked out a small figure carrying a large briefcase. It was John, who had spent his night in one of the Dimensions of the Gate of Doors.
Walking out from Gate of Doors, I yawned. Sleepiness was starting to creep into my body. This was the result of that bed—an extremely comfortable bed that could potentially send you to heaven if your will wasn't strong enough. This was already tested, so there's no doubt about it. To the weak, this bed is lethal, but to entities of the Absolute level and beyond, this is just a good bed to sleep in.
I shook off my sleepiness by summoning one of the doors of the Gate of Doors—a tiny red door made of wood materialized, only the size of a briefcase. I could manipulate the size of the doors, and this is the result. I could even grow this door to the size of ??? If I wished to.
The red door meant an inventory-type door. It stored items in an orderly fashion, akin to a game inventory. There is an ??? Number of slots behind this door, and each could contain ??? Number of similar items within a single slot.
On the door's knob was a dragon and the words "15th Tier." On the sign above the door, it said 1343.
The small red door opened, and John plunged his hand within without hesitation, then took it out right after. In his grasp was coffee—already blended and hot, ready to drink.
Getting what he wanted, the door slowly closed, deactivating the Gate of Door.
After getting the coffee, I walked out of the alleyway, a cup of coffee in hand. With a leisurely pace, I walked on the road in the direction of the manor in the distance. That manor was my destination—the base of that Familia: the Wheat Manor.
I drank my coffee, walking on the street while avoiding people and protecting my coffee from spilling.
In the streets, there were all kinds of people walking around, heading to their own destination.
There was a group of Dwarves carrying hammers, beautiful Elf sisters, Amazonesses in thin and revealing clothing, beast folks carrying swords and other weapons, adventurer parties heading to the dungeon early, a couple spending time walking, an old man carrying wood and other stuff, an old lady leisurely walking, children running around, and many more.
The quiet city that was deep in slumber began to stir, and the noisy atmosphere of a city returned.
Not long after I arrived, a gate made of metal designed into vines appeared, turning the gate into something that resembled a gate made of veins.
On both sides of the gate were guards guarding it.
"Who are you?" Guard 1 said.
"I am John. I want to join."
"You know that this is an agricultural-type Familia. We only accept farmers," Guard 2 said, while looking at me, someone who looked more like a mage than a farmer.
"I know, but still I want to join here. And besides, I know how to farm, too. I brought my produce as proof."
I laid my large briefcase on the floor and whispered something in a language that no one could hear or understand.
The briefcase opened, revealing what was inside. One half was my clothes folded neatly, while the other half was a couple of small sacks containing the produce of my farm—a farm that exists within my Gate of Door.
I grabbed one of the sacks and showed what was inside. It was carrots of high quality. They were bigger, had a beautiful orange color, and their shape was devoid of any blemishes—a perfect carrot in the eyes of mortals.
Seeing this, the guards paused for a moment in surprise. The carrots in John's hands were better than the carrots their Familia produced. The comparison was like heaven and earth.
"Okay, wait here," Guard 1 said.
Guard 2 went to the mansion, informing their goddess.
A few minutes later.
A highly beautiful, mature woman walked out of the mansion's door. Accompanying her was Guard 2 and a little girl. Her long, wavy, golden-honey-colored hair swayed through the wind. She was slim and well-endowed with enormous breasts, giving her a great figure. She wore a long, light pink dress and a gold belt around her waist.
Her smile was gentle.
Similar to other gods and goddesses, her unique presence as a goddess distinguished her from others.
"Are you the boy who wants to join?" Demeter said with her sweet smile.
"Yes, I am."
Demeter looked at my face. "Oh my, you're a handsome one." Then she looked down. "Good."
Then she noticed the carrots in my hands.
Her eyes gleamed with excitement as soon as she saw the carrots. As the goddess of fertility, agriculture, and harvest, she instantly saw the quality of my carrots.
"I didn't expect that someone could elevate a mortal ingredient to this level."
She smiled brightly and suddenly jumped and hugged me into her chest and said, "Welcome to the Familia."
My face was pressed against her flowery fragrance and her mountain peaks that were bigger than my head.
Behind the goddess were her captain and the two guards, all showing stunned faces.
The guards were stunned because this was the first time they had seen their goddess welcome a Familia member like this. They had never seen their goddess act like this, she didn't even touch a man like this before. She always acted like a mother towards them, except for this newbie.
On the other hand, their captain—a little girl, a Pallum—was stunned for a different reason. She already knew that her goddess was playful and didn't hesitate to do what she wanted, so hugging a man she liked didn't surprise her much. The thing that shocked her was the carrots in John's hands.
With her innate skill, she could instantly determine the quality of any product related to agriculture, as long as the quality didn't surpass her limits.
The scene continued.
A goddess hugging a man with excitement, planting his head into her bountiful chest, two guards who looked jealous wanting to replace the boy, and a Pallum girl who looked like she had just met her idol.
