Chapter 5 - What is wrong with her?

Pamela stood there until Ray walked over to her, wanting to hug her. His eyes were fixed on her with a worried expression.

"You, I was so worried, what happened to you?" He asked, and she rolled her eyes.

"You have the right to question me? Maybe I should be the one asking you questions since you tried to kill me, huh, how do you feel now, huh?" I pushed him away, and he staggered backwards, a pale, and confused look in his face.

"Oh you're going to pretend you don't know, but I know very well you did that. He even had to use a similar car to yours, thank God i moved away from it, and not closer. You're so good with what you do, you know that right?" She asked, and the confused man still maintained the expression on his face.

"Pamela, what the hell are you saying? How could you even say that, I would never do that to you. I love you so much, and you don't even know that. Do you because you've been telling me I don't."

"Well, because you're pretending. If you aren't pretending then maybe you should make me understand what the hell happened to me out there, why was there someone trying to kill me, huh?"

"I don't know!" He yelled, frustrated, and helpless. His mind was racing with thoughts, but he didn't even know what to do from there. He seemed to be in a state of confusion that was beyond comprehension.

"You are a very manipulative person and I can't keep doing this with you. I can't." She tried to walk away but he grabbed her hands, and pulled her so close their noses were touching.

Pamela pulled back, still not sure of what was going on, but she frowned at him.

His eyes seemed to wear a pleasing gaze, one that she was still trying very much to understand.

"You see how manipulative you are? You see how manipulative you are? Well, the best thing I'm going to tell you is pretty simple. LEAVE ME ALONE, AND KEEP YOUR WORDS TO YOURSELF DO YOU UNDERSTAND?!"

The moment those words left her lips, she pushed him away, and sashayed her way back to her room, the room she had been before she was taken to the engagement ceremony that didn't work out.

Ray stared at her confusion, and the maids who had taken a pause to understand what was going on quickly returned to their works. He really couldn't take it anymore. His heart raced, and he was trying to make sense of all she was saying, but it didn't work out.

"What should I do now? I have tried to make her love me, but I can't." A sigh escape his lips.

"Is she trying to play me, or doesn't she love me anymore?" He tried to understand the problem, but then there wasn't really any solution.

As he pondered on it, standing in place, an idea quickly came to his mind.

"Yes, right away. He's the only person that can explain what the hell is happening with Pamela…" Ray explained to himself as he walked out of the mansion, his car keys in his hands.

He hopped into the car, and immediately started the engine, setting off for the location he was looking for.

His face was filled with determination, and he held tightly to the staring work.

"I just hope there's a solution for what's wrong with her."

It wasn't long before he arrived at the hospital she was admitted in. Once there, he rushed to the receptionist.

"I need to see Doctor June. She was the one who took care of a patient, Pamela, my fiance."

She nodded, checking her computers. "Do you have an appointment?" She asked, and when he delayed to answer, she raised her head towards him with a confused expression.

"No, no I don't, but I was hoping you could squeeze me in, I promise i wouldn't take long."

She placed her eyes back on the computer, ans then raised it to stare at me before picking up the phone by her desk. She placed it by her neck, and immediately started to speak.

"Someone's here to see you, should I let them in…" she gave some more information which he wasn't paying attention to, before placing the phone down.

"You can see her now. Her office is the last one after you turn left."

Ray nodeed, mumbling a small thank you before he continued his journey to the doctor's office.

He knocked gently on the door, opening it when he heard her ask him to come in.

"Good afternoon, doc…" he greeted the moment he walked in, and she stood up, stretching her hands towards him.

"Good afternoon,Alpha Ray, what a pleasant surprise. I'm so happy to see you here. How are you doing?"

He sighed. "Good, but I don't think my fiance is so good." As she expressed, she gestured for him to take a seat and the moment he did, he started to explain.

"I don't know what's wrong with her anymore. She used to be happy, love me, and even wanted me to marry her so much, but ever since she was brought out of the hospital, all that changed. She's more distant, and hates me so much, accusing me of never loving her, I don't just…"

The doctor relaxed her back, placing her hands on her cheek. "Could be from the trauma. She's not doing so well, and you have to understand that, she's probably going to get over it."

Ray suddenly was able to calm down. It seemed the way the doctor explained it was enough to make him calm down.

Pamela was seated in her room, but in a few seconds, she stood pacing around. That had been the routine since she walked out on Ray. The attacked she received continued to play on her mind, and she couldn't help, but wonder who had tried to set her up for death.

"Hmm, this is a serious matter. I'll have to–"

At that moment, there was a knock on her door that caused her to pause. She furrowed her brows, slowly walking to the door. However, as soon as she pulled the door open, she noticed her brother standing there.

"Hey you, got a minute, or more?"

She nodded, trying to force a smile. So far, he has been the closest to me.

"Yeah, yeah I do…" she expressed, and tried to forget all that had been going on.

"Great…." He expressed, walking in.

"Um, dad, and I had been talking about what you suggested the other time concerning the pack."

As soon as those words left his lips, she felt a lump in my throat. She wasn't Pamela, so how was she supposed to know what was going on.

"Okay it cool Asena, you got this…" she expressed, and nodded as though she understood what was going on.

"Yeah, so what's it really about, I mean… the conversation we're having now."

"About what you told me. I explained it to dad, and he finally agreed."

Asena nodded steady. This was definitely a trap, and she needed to act fast, so she wouldn't be trapped.

"Hmm alright."

"Just alright? You're supposed to be happy. Isn't it what you always wanted?" He asked, and she furrowed her brows.

"Yeah I guess, but I'm not so sure what I want anymore. Besides, what if dad isn't–"

"Dad's making you Luna sis. You're going to be a Luna."

Her eyes widened, "oh wow!" It came as a shock, and as a surprise as well.
