"Since you claim to be Uchiha Madara, why are you trying to capture the Nine-Tails?!"
Hiruzen Sarutobi gritted his teeth as he looked at Obito. "With your power, no one in the ninja world should be able to stop you right now. You don't need the Nine-Tails' power at all!"
Obito gazed at Sarutobi coldly. "I was severely injured in my fight with Hashirama. I need the tailed beast's power to heal…"
Sarutobi's expression darkened.
He didn't believe the man before him was truly Madara Uchiha, but with the Mangekyō Sharingan and Susanoo he was using, even if not Madara, this person must be somehow closely linked to him.
But one thing was absolutely certain, he couldn't allow Obito to take the Nine-Tails!
"Mizukage, no matter who he is, he doesn't possess Madara's full strength yet. He's weaker than Madara was at his peak. Maybe he's only this powerful because he's relying on the Nine-Tails' chakra. If we can sever his connection with the Nine-Tails, we can defeat him!"
"I think the same."
Namikaze Minato spoke in a low voice, "But in the current situation, cutting that link is extremely difficult. We can only do our best to try."
Sarutobi nodded slowly, "For now, just hold him off. We have reinforcements."

Both Sarutobi and Minato vanished with swift teleportation, narrowly dodging a sudden swipe from one of the Nine-Tails' tails.
Standing atop the Nine-Tails' head, Obito folded his arms calmly and said, "Hold me off?"
"What makes you think you can hold me off…"
ROAR!!!
As his words fell, the Nine-Tails let out a fierce roar, its massive chakra surging explosively. In front of its mouth, the chakra rapidly condensed and compressed, forming a gigantic Tailed Beast Bomb. The sheer amount of chakra it contained was terrifying.
Sarutobi's face twisted in shock. He had no doubt that if the bomb struck the village, it would instantly annihilate all of Konoha.
Buzz!
Obito didn't hesitate and unleashed the Tailed Beast Bomb.
At that moment, Minato inhaled sharply, teleported into the air, and with a precise Flying Thunder God Kunai technique, instantly redirected the bomb.
BOOM!!!
The Tailed Beast Bomb exploded violently in a mountain range dozens of miles away, shaking the earth like a meteor impact.
The powerful tremors swept through the land like a massive earthquake.
"What overwhelming power…"
Sarutobi's eyes flashed with terror.
Though Minato's Flying Thunder God technique diverted the attack, they could clearly see a mountain peak had been completely flattened by the blast.
"Summoning Jutsu!"
Without hesitation, Sarutobi immediately summoned the Monkey King Enma, who transformed into his adamantine staff. With a powerful leap, he charged toward Obito atop the Nine-Tails.

The adamantine staff stretched out, crashing against the surface of Susanoo in an attempt to knock Obito off the Nine-Tails' head.
But Susanoo was nearly fused with the Nine-Tails' skull. Sarutobi's forceful strike failed to budge it. Instead, a shake of the Nine-Tails' head sent Sarutobi flipping backward through the air.
"Don't forget, I'm still here."
Obito said coldly, controlling Susanoo as he drew a glowing blue sword and swung it toward Sarutobi.
A massive wave of blue sword energy shot forward.
Sarutobi hastily used the adamantine staff to block, but the sheer force was too great. He was blasted backward, flying in an arc before crashing far into the other side of Konoha.
Inside the village,
Yūhi Kurenai, Kakashi, and others watched the scene unfold.
"That's… the Third Hokage…"
Kakashi's face changed, turning to Kaede. "This isn't good, brother. The Third Hokage and Minato-sensei don't seem able to stop the enemy…"
"Don't worry."
Kaede stood calmly by the window, arms folded. "There are still others who haven't appeared yet. Trust the Hokages. Even if the enemy breaks into the village, I'm here."
Hearing Kaede's words, Kakashi felt a bit more at ease.

Outside the village,
Minato's battle with Obito raged on.
Realizing his normal attacks couldn't penetrate Susanoo, Minato was forced to use his weakest technique, Sage Mode combined with Flying Thunder God, to teleport to the Nine-Tails' head.
"Sage Art! Giant Rasengan!"
The Giant Rasengan was Minato's strongest technique, though Sage Jutsu was not his specialty. His natural energy control was poor compared to Jiraiya's.

The massive Rasengan struck the back of Susanoo, causing its light to flicker slightly, but no cracks appeared.
Obito stood inside Susanoo calmly, glancing sideways at Minato. "Is that your strongest attack?"
Minato's heart sank.
At that moment, a shout came from behind him.
"Minato! Dodge!"
It wasn't Sarutobi's voice, it was Jiraiya, one of the legendary Sannin. He was still in the village, having held back until now to prepare. He knew ordinary techniques wouldn't suppress the Nine-Tails.
Jiraiya appeared, filled with natural energy in Sage Mode, his face marked with the characteristic sage markings. Perched on each shoulder were the two great toads, Fukasaku and Shima.
"Sage Art!"
"Super Giant Rasengan!"
A Rasengan ten times larger than Minato's appeared in Jiraiya's hand, and he slammed it toward Obito's Susanoo.
At the same time, Fukasaku and Shima formed hand signs and released fire-style jutsu from both sides, wrapping around the Super Giant Rasengan. Wind and fire intertwined instantly.
Whoosh!!
Minato teleported away in a flash.
Landing nearby, he looked toward Jiraiya. "An attack like this… worthy of Jiraiya-sensei. I'll call it 'Radiant Gale Crimson Flame Arrow Type Zero.'"

Jiraiya's attack struck Susanoo's surface.
Meanwhile, Sarutobi, who had been knocked away earlier, flew back, swinging his adamantine staff hard against Susanoo's side.

The glow of Susanoo trembled violently, but this was the third form, its final stage without Eternal Mangekyō, and it still showed no signs of breaking.
However, thanks to the combined attacks from Sarutobi, Minato, and Jiraiya all striking the same side, the Nine-Tails' head finally tilted slightly.
Obito and Susanoo, which were only partially fused to the Nine-Tails' head, slid off its smooth fur, falling through the air.

Minato's eyes gleamed fiercely.
