The ruins responded.
Rein POV:
"Confirmed: Seraphine bloodline detected. Identity: Last descendant of Seraphine Kingdom. Level of purity: Complete."
"What's next now?" I asked Syria while sucking the finger the blood was taken from.
"Nothing."
"Ehhh?" I was confused. What did she mean by nothing?
"There's nothing to do again. Since the tower has recognized your bloodline, it will start restorations," she explained.
As she spoke, a bright light traveled from inside the tower and surged outward. Before I could even say "what," I watched in awe as the energy flowed like a wave across the land.
The ruins responded.
Pillars that had once crumbled to dust rose and realigned with loud, echoing thuds. Broken stones lifted off the ground and returned to their original forms. Ancient carvings reignited with a golden glow, and shattered rooftops reformed in flashes of white light.
"Wow…"
