Rohan's POV:
In the meeting room:
"So we were informed that the breeder had been missing for a day or so now," a man without a wrinkled face but with a beard and eye lines said. He was part of the council.
I didn't know who informed them, but the whole council came to pay us a visit concerning Syria's disappearance. So all of us were in the room—Fred, Jake, Jace, and John.
"And so?" My voice followed next to his. I could see the annoyance in his eyes, angry at why I spoke immediately after him. All these oldies with unnecessary respect.
"You don't have to know," he snarled.
Noticing a sign of argument brewing between us, a woman full of agility stood up. Judging by her appearance, she was probably not that old. Her face was still young and fresh, unlike the old man.
"We are not here to fight. We are here for the concern of this kingdom. You know the rules," she said.
