Fred's POV:**
It had been a day and a half since Syria disappeared, and we still hadn't found a single clue about her whereabouts. I had ordered the guards to search every hut in the kingdom and scour the entire mansion, but there was no trace of her.
Knock, knock.
After the knock, the door was pushed opened.
"Good day, Fred."
It was Lyria, the king's daughter. If not for the respect we were all obliged to show the king, I wouldn't have tolerated her unnecessary intrusion into my study.
"What are you doing in my study?" My voice was cold enough to convey my annoyance .
"I miss you," she said, stepping closer.
I glared at her, silently warning her that if she didn't back off, I'd have the guards throw her out.
