Claire pulled him aside and spoke firmly.
"Uncle, do you have any idea what Kelly's been doing behind your back?"
Jeffrey narrowed his eyes. "What are you talking about?"
"You really don't know?" she asked, watching his face closely.
A shadow passed over Jeffrey's expression. In truth, he had been suspicious of Kelly for a while. Distrust came naturally to him, but he'd never found hard evidence. Now, he asked in a low voice, "Do you have proof?"
Claire nodded without hesitation. "I do."
She took out her phone and showed him the photos she had taken near the pool at the Watson Castle, images of Kelly laughing and clinging to a man.
Jeffrey's face twisted in fury. His gaze snapped to Kelly, who was still sprawled on the floor nearby.
Kelly, mid-sob, caught the look in his eyes and felt a chill crawl down her spine. There was no mistaking it, Claire had exposed everything.
Her hatred for Claire surged like a tidal wave.
