Before Claire or Maggie could speak, Jenny and Mark came rushing in, their faces pale with panic. The moment Jenny caught sight of Kelly, her eyes burned with fury, like she was staring straight at her sworn enemy. Without hesitation, she shouted at her.
Just moments ago, they'd been scared out of their wits by a mob of creditors forcing their way inside.
Kelly hesitated, a flicker of guilt flashing through her eyes. But her voice came out loud, sharp, defiant. "What shares? What the hell does that have to do with me? How would I know anything about that? Why are you even asking me? Are you out of your mind?"
