Once I woke up this morning, I reminded myself that it was Leonard's birthday, and as a part of my plan, I am not supposed to wish him a happy birthday. Idris had told me before now that Leonard has not allowed his birthday to be celebrated since he was sent out of the country, and Leonard's behavior this morning which was no different from his everyday behaviour had only managed to confirm the information I got from Idris.
The only difference in his daily routine this morning was that he was dressed for work already. It was not 07:00 AM yet, and he was already prepared, which was strange.
"Isn't it too early to leave for the office?" I had suppressed the urge to wish him a happy birthday, and asked him this instead.
"Not really, I have to complete all of Idris' unfinished work." Leonard said, and headed for the closet, probably to get his briefcase.
