Zane's POV ~
Did I just hear that right?
That he'll turn me into a vampire?!
This guy must be insane!
"You're crazy, Simon!" I shouted, my voice trembling with rage. Every ounce of anger I had surged through me as I shoved him away. Though truth be told, I suspected he had allowed himself to be pushed....his body barely moved with resistance. Still, I didn't hesitate. I stormed out of my room, my footsteps echoing with fury.
"Yes, I'm crazy. Crazy about you, Zane!" Simon's voice thundered behind me, followed by a chilling burst of evil laughter that crawled down my spine like ice.
My head felt like it was going to explode. Rage, disgust, and fear boiled together inside me, and I knew I couldn't stay in the same space with him any longer. I needed distance. I needed to breathe.
