Chapter 508 – End of talk
The discussion continued afterward, Noah and Primus talking about what to expect and what not to expect.
Embarrassingly, Primus was unable to guess the next actions of the Progenitors. The only thing — truthful and accurate — he could share with Noah was something the man himself had already guessed:
The Progenitors were doing it on purpose by letting the universe get wrecked on all sides.
Noah now knew why. Because the less stable and whole Primus was, the less powerful he would be, which would mean less obstacle in getting the Horn from him.
The bastards were ready to jeopardize the very home they were born in for that famed Horn. And that realization made Noah ask one more important question,
"What would happen if they obtain the Horn?" He inquired, looking deeply into the pale Will. "And I want a concrete, honest answer. Give me all the truths, and let me decide how to act with them."
Primus chuckled. It was hollow and humorless.
