Noah fell into solemn silence, looking intensely at Primus, his thoughts churning inside his head relentlessly.
The words of Primus were not ones to be taken lightly, considering the magnitude of what he was asking. However, before he even got to the point of considering the proposal, there were still many fogs left to be dispelled.
So Noah lightly shook his head, gathered himself, sat as comfortably as he could in that situation, and parted his lips.
"Why me?" Noah asked, his voice now holding a distinct note of seriousness mixed with overwhelming authority. "I am strong, I know. I am special, that too, I know well. But who or even what gave you the confidence to believe that I wouldn't go after the Horn like anyone else?"
His lips slowly pulled out, showing a cold smile.
"You would be a fool and more if you didn't consider that possibility, Primus. And I hate fools."
