Markus shared a brief smile while looking through his skills.
He had grown a lot from weeks ago.
He had learnt a lot, either for necessity or to further his own goals.
Looking through his new skills he noticed that there were some skills that he hadn't obtained or trained himself. Delving into his memories he quickly found that those said skills had been obtained by his clones.
' Huh? So I can obtain skills in this way too? And even train them?— Is this my own nerfed version of the shadow clone or something?' He wondered, happy at the new discovery before he looked through his new skills.
His sight quickly fell onto the Science Skills.
Those he had obtained through the use of his Trace Gloves, after having obtained access to the internet and a printing machine he had went all out.
Every waking moment was spent absorbing knowledge, genetic coding, cellular regeneration, DNa Manipulation, CRISPR Technology and the intricacies of gene splicing.
Utilising the gloves to force-feed him information to level up his skills scientific skills, with [Genius Comprehension] quickly deducing, analysing and comprehending the information as soon as it hit his brain and with his [Mind] having evolved past human constraints, it was only a matter of time before his labours bore fruit.
And they did, seeing as their first serum had worked, even though he had only found the missing key to their experiments after its creation, mana.
But now, with all his needed biological skills up to par to further his research, it wouldn't take him long before he perfected his serum.
Plus, his clones working 24/7 would lessen the time a normal person would need for both comprehension of their research data and for experimentations.
Next on his skills to look through were his martial skills, [Martial Arts] and [Swordsmanship].
Martial arts had been acquired by his recon clone, the one tasked on getting the layout of the supernatural scene of Beacons while keeping an eye on his brothers antics.
When not hiding and spying, the clone had learnt the skill and trained in it alongside his swordsmanship skill. After all they had a magic sword and would need to learn how to use so that clone had taken it upon itself to do so.
Then came his newest crafting skills, both obtained through his clones while he was unconscious, a quick reconnect to his clones minutes ago was enough to tell him that.
It seemed that they had become productive while he was incapacitated, learning new skills in order to refurbish their base as he had already seen.
Now the entire place looks like something of a mad scientists base, though most of their focus had been on the labs.
The material for all of this was obtained through [Transmutation], through having studied the material with [Aura Source] and [Genius Comprehension].
That was a skill that was paying itself ten times over, so it was to no one's surprise that it was one of his highest leveled skills.
[Transmutation] and [Matter State Magic] were an awfully great combo when in came to crafting and building.
Then came his skills that he had' had some involvement in their creation.
[Fire Magic]
That skill came when he had broken down the spell {Water Boil} from the [Cooking Magic] Skill, through that spell and his traits it was only a matter of time before he obtained the skill.
But just as it's [Water Magic] counterpart, it wasn't of immediate use for now so he shelved actually delving deeper into said lore of magic.
For now his focus was on becoming a Chimera.
Though once that was done, he'd delve deeper into magic and hopefully at that point he would be knowledgeable enough or obtain something that will increase the rate of which he understood magic besides [Aura Source] or the trait [Source Comprehension] which he couldn't use yet.
Though once he met the requirements to use it, he was sure that he'd become one hell of a mage.
[Refiner] having been obtained through the System had already been levelled up to a point, but apparently his clones had realised that using the skill on raw material before building something out of it enhanced the resulting creation.
So now not only was his base abnormally stronger than it should with its used material, his equipment had also obtained a boost which allowed his clones to put more runes and sigils on them for increased efficiency.
Then came [Fuinjutsu].
A skill that he remembered is from the Naruto universe, a rune-type system centred around sealing.
And what did his clones do with it while he was gone?
They somehow created an amalgamation of pure genius with it, utilising their computer which was just a step away from turning into a supercomputer as its core. Mixing in a sigil anchored to the computer, Fuinjutsu script as the code and rune circles all around the base to create a widespread Inventory System where they could store any material in a seperate metaphysical space and call upon any material, anywhere on the base that will then appear on the rune circles.
For now it was a bulky prototype that would need further refinement before it reaches something truly magnificent though, but it worked and now they had a pseudo inventory accessible only to me and the clones.
Too bad he already had an inventory though, but this one would serve well as a warehouse to keep more items inside than my System granted inventory can. Though the clones probably needed it more than him, seeing as they weren't connected to the System as deep as he was.
The only thing that showed their connection to him and his System was that before the update they could open and see their status too, even use all his skills too. He would have to see whether that was still a thing or not.
The next new skill was [Brewing Magic].
Himself and his clones hadn't really done much with that branch of magic, but studying the spells and breaking it down to their base nature's could probably net him extremely powerful magic as he hoped that the [Arcanic Fermentation] skill had traces of time magic.
Though he wasn't really banking on that.
After that was his most favourite skill [Aura Analysis].
The skill came when he had been experimenting with his aura, on a fluke he had covered a wrench entirely with his mana, doing so had allowed him to delve deep into the sigil structure wafting off the item.
Moments later his System seemed to have reconstructed that and granted him an offshoot of the Observe Skill he remembered from the Gamer System.
All in all, this had allowed him great strides in both analysing material with magical aura in the forest and in his experiments, granting him information in realtime of his serums on whether they were viable or he was straying from the right path in his experiments.
[Aura Intent] had come to be when he had tried to see what would happen when he flared and encapsulated things around him with his aura. That experiment hadn't really born fruit until a clone walked into the aura field, immediately it had paused and stared at me weirdly.
It was only seconds later that they had told me that it had felt everything he was feeling, like a sort of jumbled up empathy that only the victim benefitted from. But after mulling over it and experimenting further he had found that he could express single or multiple intents or emotions, by the end of their experiments he was able to make anyone caught inside the field feel anger, sadness or fear.
A versatile skill that could steer off conflict before it started if he was not in the mood.
As for [Aura Suggestion].
One of his clones had obtained it after studying their little Ex-Hunter turned half vampire after she tried planting a suggestion to them.
Of course it didn't work, apparently the ability worked by pushing the aura of someone into another's aura field and in doing so corrupting them and doing whatever the owner of said aura wants. This was a better way of what he could do, he couldn't push his aura into others before gaining the skill, only being able to read another person's aura in a way.
With the skill, he was now a bit closer to mind manipulation as the suggestion slowly degraded with time with the use of the aforementioned skill.
So finally done with looking through his skills, all that was left to look through the 2 other screens of information left.
His abilities seemed to be next.
