As the fight between Origin and Guy was about to begin, Origin said, "Sir Veldanava, could you please maintain a barrier around us so that our fight would not destroy the world or damage it greatly?"
Hearing this, Veldanava, while smiling, said, "Well, that's true. If you both fight without regarding the consequences, it would greatly damage and harm the world."
As Veldanava put a barrier around Origin and Guy, it prevented their collisions from destroying the world or damaging it greatly. Mizeri and Rain stood behind Lord Veldanava, watching as the fight between their Master Guy and Origin was about to begin.
Inside the barrier, as Guy and Origin faced each other, Guy said boldly, without restraint, "So, Origin, you are the one, those stupid, foolish high-humans summoned me for."
Origin smiled at this and said, "Well, if they wanted to deal with Origin, then that must be me. After all, no one is named Origin other than me in the world."
Guy laughed, hearing this and said, "Well, Origin, you are certainly strong. Shall we begin?"
Origin, though calm, was also happy inside to have a good fight. After all, there are not many beings in The Cardinal World that can fight him.
As the fight began, both Origin and Guy let their Haki clash for a while. Though Origin's Haki was far greater than Guy's, like a flow of jet-pressured water that would cut anything, Guy's Haki was unrestrained, full of boldness, like an abyss. I really felt like it was a Conqueror's Haki clash from One Piece.
Then, after a few more minutes of our Haki clashing, we both retracted our Haki back.
"Weapons or no weapons?" Guy asked.
"Let's do no weapons." I wanted to see how strong Guy really was with just his inherent abilities—no armour, no weapons—whether he would be overpowered or not. I wanted to have an amazing fight.
"Heh, alright." He took his stance.
I gave him a nod and instantly appeared in front of him, my fist aimed for his face. My fist was coated in my Aura and Magicules, so Guy did not underestimate it. He cleanly dodged my incoming fist before jumping back.
I quickly side-stepped one of Guy's attacks, not bothering with paying further attention to the Nuclear Magic he just fired at me. Guy dashed in front of me at speeds unseeable to the naked eye. That wasn't enough to catch me off guard, as I made sure to avoid each of his punches, not wanting to risk being affected by anything. I teleported to the side as I avoided another beam of Nuclear Magic.
He was utilising the Magicules coating his fists to cast Magic, so he was able to cast Magic while throwing punches at me. While that was interesting, it wasn't anything special.
Both of us were just testing each other. I was not using the entirety of my power; otherwise, the fight would be over in an instant. I just used enough power to contend with Guy—or just higher than his power.
We met fist for fist, kick for kick, almost in a routine of sorts. As we continued to test each other's strength, we gradually increased the power behind our blows before simultaneously jumping back.
"Haha, this is the most fun I've had in a long time! No one in the Underworld could match me except for that weirdo, but let's forget about him. We haven't even gotten serious yet!" Guy yelled, with an excited look on his face.
"Heh, then how about we take it up a notch?" I offered, knowing that the weirdo that Guy was talking about must be Primordial Black Noir, or the future strongest simp of Rimuru, called Diablo.
"That must mean that you haven't fought anyone strong in a while, then, have you?" I asked.
"Nope!" he replied.
"Heh, well then, I'll give you a good fight. Now let's dance!" I exclaimed. I took to the skies and quickly formed a few spheres of compressed Space. I aimed them towards Guy.
"Space Destruction!"
Since we were still testing each other and had not used weapons or any skills, I might as well see how these Magics I created did in a real fight, though testing them against a being like Guy might have been a bit pointless.
I was proven right when Guy simply slapped the balls away with his Aura-coated hand. Well, that move was useless, I said.
Unfortunately, Guy didn't give me the chance to cast my next Magic as he generated an Abyss Core and then crushed it, causing it to release a Dark Light.
Shit, is this guy serious? He used Death Streak—a Nuclear Magic that bypasses all physical and magical defenses while killing everything it touches. It can even destroy souls. It releases a Dark Light since it agitates Spiritrons, which causes the Spiritrons to release radiation, which is what the Dark Light is.
Aren't we still testing each other in? This fighting manic? I thought. I assumed Guy used this in a casual fight since he felt like I could handle it, and he would be correct.
The best way to counteract Death Streak is with a Death Streak of your own. I quickly learned this move and generated an Abyss Core, crushed it, and then guided the agitated Spiritrons to release the Dark Light in the direction of Guy's own attack, resulting in a stalemate.
I, of course, could have also just consumed the Dark Light with Omega Genesis, the sub-skill of my Ultimate Skill, but I wanted to have a bit of fun too. Relying on my Ultimate Skill every time is no fun in a fight.
As our fight began to become more and more interesting, I started noticing that the moves I was using—such as martial arts or magic—were being copied and learned by Guy. I realised that Guy must have used his Unique Skill: Pride to copy my skills and magic.
At that moment, my Manas, En Sof, said, "Master Origin, I knew that individual Guy was copying your magic and moves, but I did not block it, as I felt that you must like it this way."
Hearing this from my Manas, I felt happy that my Manas understood me. After all, if I wanted, the fight could end in an instant. I wanted to see how much Guy could copy, but as expected of you, En Sof—only you can understand me the most.
En Sof replied, "Thanks for the compliment, Master Origin."
Our conversation, though long, lasted smaller than a fraction of a second.
"How interesting. I'm not capable of analysing or copying this Skill of yours," he commented with a smirk.
So he's just going to outright admit it then. He snapped his fingers, and a couple of hundred spheres of compressed Space appeared behind him.
"You called this Space Destruction? Thank you. This Spell will be fairly useful to deal with those fools who are unworthy of fighting me."
Of course, he copied it. Though that's not a big deal, I'm quite certain he could probably already do something similar to Space Destruction. But I guess this must be how others felt when I copied their skills and magic.
"Hah! I expected more from you, Guy!" I taunted him with the same words he said to me. Of course, this only served to tick Guy off.
I easily dealt with the incoming balls of compressed Space by simply using Space Destruction myself to negate them. Guy was going to have a tough time if he wanted to harm me with my own magic.
As I looked at Guy, he was slightly tired. Though that is expected; after all, he has only a Unique Skill for now, not an Ultimate Skill. Otherwise, this fight would be way more fun and interesting. But this is the fight I enjoyed the most—this is comparable to my swordsmanship training and the fun I had with Dino.
Then I felt and looked at Guy. Guy thought he was only standing still while looking at me with a crazy smile, but I felt that something had changed.
Guy felt that this was very bad. At first, he was summoned to this world by stupid humans, who ordered him to destroy a kingdom. Though bored, he did it easily. Then he absorbed the souls of those humans and gained more power. To test this out, he returned to the kingdom he was summoned to and killed them, too. While they were screaming, he took on the name Guy. Then he recovered all the power he had in the Underworld and grew stronger.
Then he summoned the other two Primordials under him and gave them names, though when he fed them souls, he felt they didn't evolve.
He and his two primordial subordinates travelled the world for fun. Then he met the creator of the world and wanted to fight him to see who was the strongest. But he lost in an instant; his pride was crushed into pieces. He wanted to die rather than serve him, as according to Demon Laws, the defeated serve the Victor.
He then heard Veldanava say, "I don't want you to serve me, but help me manage and protect the world."
So he and Veldanava became friends. He became the Demon Lord, who would be the Ultimate Evil that helps Humanity unite, not fight each other.
Then I looked at the silver-haired guy who followed behind Veldanava. I heard him introduce himself; he said that his name is Origin.
So I said, "So you are Origin, the one those stupid high-humans wanted to kill."
He nodded. Though I felt that this guy named Origin was very weird—he gave me a feeling of a human, but not a human. But let's forget that. I felt that this guy is very strong, so I wanted to fight him.
As our fight began, I knew that both of us were just testing each other. But as the fight progressed for a long time, I felt that Origin was not using his power at all. That made me angry the most—how can he hold back in a fight?
But as he used his Space Destruction magic, I countered it away but copied it with my Unique Skill: Pride. However, I felt that I could not copy any of his other skills at all, as if they were blocked. But I could copy his magic and moves. I asked him, but could not get any reply.
So I used the Space Destruction Magic he copied from Origin, but it was countered by him using the same magic.
I began feeling a little tired, and I was not happy about it. How could I do it? I wanted to enjoy the fight and fight seriously, but his power now could not allow it. I began wishing for extreme power and higher power, and then I felt my soul burning and a little pain, but I was not mad about it. I was extremely happy because I felt that my power was rising.
As Origin, Guy, and Veldanava heard the VOTW say, "Individual named Guy's Unique Skill: Pride has evolved into Ultimate Skill: Lucifer Lord of Pride."
Hearing this, my eyes twitched. Why does this happen to me whenever I fight someone? Why do they evolve so quickly? Last time it happened with Velzard, now with Guy. What am I, some kind of experience pack that anyone who fights me can gain growth from me?
But anyways, since Guy has an Ultimate Skill, especially Lucifer Lord of Pride—a copy and analytical-based skill, and a Sin Series skill, a counter to the Virtue Series created by Sir Veldanava—Origin felt that his fight just got a lot more interesting.
I asked, "Guy, shall we continue our fight?"
Guy said excitedly, "Let's begin our round 2."
I snapped my fingers, creating a localized gravitational field disruption, forming an artificial black hole. At the same time, I created a Barrier encompassing Guy, and the artificial black hole extended all the way up into space.
While I was reinforcing the Barrier, making sure Guy couldn't just break it to escape my attack, I also made sure to control the black hole. It took mere milliseconds for the Spell to be ready. I let go of my control of the black hole, causing it to explode upwards, thanks to the barrier containing the blast.
I noticed Guy erect a Multi-Dimensional Barrier around himself, which should protect him from my attack. Well, at least I got to try out Gravity Collapse in actual combat, I guess.
The black hole's explosion resembled that of a supernova. It was truly magnificent. Once the attack was finished, I could see Guy standing right where he was before the Spell went off, with a smirk on his face. Arrogant guy.
Before he even had a chance to react, I dispelled the Barrier around him and teleported closer.
"Why don't you eat this attack?" I punched Guy in the stomach.
Guy's eyes widened as he tried to block my punch, but it was no use. Guy was sent flying. As that happened, I severed the Space between Guy and his arm, cutting his arm off. Guy tried to resist with his own manipulation of Space, but he just wasn't at my level when it comes to that.
Of course, that wasn't able to keep him down for long, as he appeared in front of me at speeds close to that of light, his fist coated in extremely pure energy and Spiritrons, easily bypassing the barrier I built.
I was very excited and felt happy that I could finally fight this fight with Guy. It made me very happy. It reminded me of my fight with Ashura and Velzard, but Guy was even more amazing than them. After all, Guy's fighting experience is vast, and his Battle IQ is superb.
I met his fist with my own, coated in pure Stardust. I wanted to use Stardust in a fight, using very little, the same amount of energy as in Guy's fist, holding back, but being careful with Stardust.
The moment our fists met, we were both sent flying back to the opposite ends of the barrier. I took a look at my now missing hand as it quickly regenerated. I assumed Guy took the same amount of damage, if not more.
I laughed very happily. This was the battle I wanted, even if I don't like fighting very much. Being so powerful and doing nothing will make me go crazy, so fighting is an outlet I created for myself. Very few beings in this Cosmology can fight me, even if I hold back.
I smirked as I looked back at Guy.
The two of us had been exchanging blows for several hours now, though neither of us had received much damage. Sometimes I would land a stray punch, other times Guy would. Our wounds were already completely healed with Infinite Regeneration.
Our clothing was also quite damaged at this point, and that's saying something, seeing as both of our outfits were God Grade Equipment created with Material Creation. Both of us know Material Creation as we created our outfits from it.
Of course, my energy levels were still off the charts. I still had very much energy to spare for the fight.
Heh, why don't I give him a taste of his own medicine? Let's see how he likes dealing with those annoying Spiritrons, except I focus the Magic into my arm. All of this takes place within milliseconds.
I hold my arm straight and gather Magicules and energy as if to gather them in front of my arm.
"Enuma Elish!" I yelled. A large beam of pure light was sent out from my arm towards Guy. The beam I just sent was capable of disintegrating someone down to their very soul. Yes, I wanted to recreate Gilgamesh's famous move. Of course, there was no sword used in this since weapons were banned from this fight.
The ray of Disintegration consumed Guy's Magic that he sent at me. Right as it was about to hit Guy, he teleported to the side—something I expected, seeing as I planned to get truly serious now instead of playing games.
Now I have decided to pull out the big guns. I activated Future Attack Prediction, which could also be used to predict Guy's own movements. I followed the rays of light, which only I could see, showing me exactly where Guy would appear.
Right when Guy appeared at the predicted spot, I landed the perfect punch right on his face, causing a sonic boom as I sent him flying. Of course, that punch wasn't enough to take him out for the count, so I followed him at my max speed and began giving him a barrage of punches, which he wasn't able to properly defend against.
Each time he attempted to block, I read it with Future Attack Prediction and targeted somewhere else. He was acquiring more and more wounds, but he was healing just as quickly. My attacks were even damaging his Spiritual Body.
But as expected, Guy was growing very fast. He was copying my moves and learning, growing more and more powerful. As expected of Guy, this guy is a menace, but this was to be expected. After all, Guy was considered the most dangerous person by Feldway in the Original Light Novel when he wanted to destroy the World.
Even with the barrier set by Veldanava, the fight between Guy and Origin was felt by many beings like Feldway, Velzard, Twilight, and Dagruel. When each of them sensed who was fighting, they were shocked. Velzard was shocked that someone could fight Origin other than her big brother Veldanava, and that simp Feldway too. To this extent, she wanted to know who could be capable of fighting Origin like this, as she felt that Origin was happy fighting him. Feldway was shocked that a Primordial Demon like Guy was able to fight Origin like this and became wary of Guy, though he believed that Lord Veldanava would take care of it.
Twilight was happy sensing the fight. He said to himself, "Yes, yes, Origin, reveal more and more abilities and powers of yourself. You are becoming more and more interesting."
Dagruel, who sensed the fight, was shocked and wanted to know who was fighting Origin.
Origin focused back on Guy, who was radiating a crimson Aura. I could tell he was getting angry.
As I saw Guy stretch out his arm and gather Magicules and energy in his arms, he said, "What was the name of this move again? Yes, Enuma Elish." A large beam of red light hurtled towards me, which I teleported out of, saying, "Hey, you copied this magic too."
Guy laughed and said, "This move is nice and cool, so I copied it."
Origin said, "Now, Guy, I will not be holding back anymore, so I hope you will be ready."
Guy said, "I hope you stop holding back. Show me your power."
I used Velzard's Ultimate Patience King Gabriel's ability called Fixation and stopped Guy in a single place, landing multiple fast punches and kicks at the speed of light, imbued with Stardust, damaging Guy badly.
When he was released from Fixation, Guy, who was regenerating rapidly, asked in a low tone, "What was this move?" Though I knew that Guy copied this skill, he was waiting for the right moment to use it.
Origin knew he could not waste any more time. He could use his abilities of Ultimate Skill, but he was wary that if Guy copied it, what would happen in the future? So he did not want to use his Ultimate Skill in front of Guy. He had only one option.
Origin used Suspended World. As this ability was used, everything stopped. Origin quickly teleported in front of Guy and used the sub-skill of his Ultimate Skill, Omega Genesis, quickly erasing every ounce of energy and Magicules of Guy, leaving him empty. He created a barrier of pure Magicules around him that he could not copy or break at all.
As the Suspended World was stopped and everything resumed, Guy looked and felt that his energy was almost gone and he was surrounded by a barrier he could not break or copy. He was angry not because he lost, but because he could not understand how he lost. But he was also happy that he had the best fight of his life with Origin, as he said, "I lost."
Origin undid the barrier, as he healed Guy, and made him recover his energy. Feeling this, Guy said to Origin, "You can even heal others?"
Origin nodded, and they both walked towards the end of the barrier.
Veldanava finally undid the barrier and said, "It was an amazing fight, Origin and Guy. If I was not maintaining the barrier, most parts of the world would have been destroyed."
Rain and Mizeri were shocked that their Master Guy lost twice in the same day. While they could understand how he lost against Lord Veldanava, they could not understand or comprehend how he lost against Origin, after all Origin was just a human too them; they could not understand how a human could be this powerful.
After the talk between Origin, Guy, and Veldanava was over, Guy and Origin shook hands. Guy said, "This fight was one of the best I had in my entire life."
Origin, hearing this, also said, "Well, for me too, this fight was one of the best."
Guy, Rain, and Mizeri left to do their work. As the First True Demon Lord, Guy had to do something to make humans realise that they needed to unite against him.
Veldanava and Origin headed back to the Heavenly Palace. Veldanava asked, "Why did you not use your Ultimate Skill against him?"
Origin, hearing this, said, "Well, I was wary. What if Guy could copy my skills?"
Veldanava laughed and said, "Origin, it seems that while fighting, you did not pay attention properly. You have Manas—it could block opponents from copying your skills."
Origin felt like a fool and said, "But I wanted to know if Guy could copy my skills? What would happen? I also didn't want that to happen. After all, if Guy copied my skills, no one would be able to check the balance with him. As he thought In the Original Light Novel, except for Sir Veldanava, that Evil God Ivarage, and the cheater Rimuru Tempest in the future, no one could say they could defeat Guy easily with confidence—not even the True Body of Feldway could do it. So I didn't want to do this. That would make Guy even more broken and overpowered."
After saying this, Origin left the Heavenly Palace to rest for a while.
