Seeing Easton Holmes' helpless expression when he announced the wedding postponement, Michael Linton felt uneasy, but he didn't say much more about it.
"Things may not be as bad as you think, stop worrying, and go upstairs to rest early." Michael Linton stood up and walked over to Easton Holmes, patting his nephew on the back as a gesture of comfort.
Easton Holmes didn't immediately stand up as Michael Linton suggested but looked up at his comforting uncle, "I'm fine, you go back to your room and rest first."
In order to reassure his uncle, he forced a casual smile.
"Then I'll return to my room first, you should go up early too, Lily is pregnant now, don't make her worry about you." Michael Linton didn't force Easton Holmes to leave the living room with him, but he worried about his nephew.
When leaving, he mentioned Lily Turner again, hoping it would prompt his nephew to return to his room and not brood alone here.
