Music has always been a creative outlet that allows me to understand myself.
It gives me focus, a purpose; it defines me. Music is life to me. My conscience. Whenever I have lost my way, it brings me back to center; whenever I forget, it reminds me why I am here.
That's why I feel so calm and at home in the middle of the music room, finally feeling like I can breathe again for the first time in days.
The workshop station is three hours drive from the city, burrowed deep in the suburbs where the only thing I can see are trees, and more trees. We are secluded, nestled away from the loud and bustling life of the city of Torros, and brought back to nature.
I have been craving this: the silence, the fresh air, the zen that only nature can bring forth. I feel like I can stay here and just make music for years, and I would be content. If this were what I needed to do, I would be a happy soul.
