Such a small request, such a small non meaningful act but my heart is thumping so hard in my chest. I nod, ever so subtly but he sees it and he takes my hand in his.
His long fingers wrap around my wrist, before his other hand cups my hand. Warm. Soft. His palm is soft, his fingers gentle as they enclose mine. It isn't supposed to elicit any reaction, it's a normal … innocent touch.
But miko's touch is making me shiver, I hope he doesn't notice that my palms are starting to sweat. His palm press in on mine, interlocking our fingers together before squeezing once.
Then twice, his other hand on top of mine, the thumb making small circles on top of my hand before his fingers extended to touch my inner wrist.
We are both looking at where we are joined, and I have to swallow hard, as I watch him hold me like I am fragile … precious. As he touches me so …
