Chapter 55 - Chapter 55. The Real Boss

Chapter 55. The Real Boss

After finally letting Elysia be satisfied, Elysia and Xander—covered with Elysia's scent—stepped out of the room.

As soon as they opened the door, they ran right into Seele, who had been frightened by Kiana's words and had hurried upstairs.

"Ah~ it's Seele.

Long time no see.

Come let me hug you~"

While Seele was still a little dazed at the sight of her, Elysia happily swept her into a hug, rubbing her soft cheeks with delight.

"Long time no see.

Seele, you're getting cuter and cuter~"

"Elysia-sis?"

Bronya followed right behind.

The moment she saw that head of pink hair, her brows knitted.

Why is this woman here?

Then she noticed the slightly pleading look Seele cast back at her, and she immediately stepped forward.

But just as she was about to say something, Elysia extended her free hand and hugged both her and Seele together.

"Wow.

I did hear from Xander that you've changed a lot, Ducky, but I didn't expect you to have become such a beautiful girl already~"

"Don't call me by that name..."

Suddenly hugged, Bronya muttered in a small voice, but like Seele she didn't try to struggle free.

Although they did see Elysia as the number-one enemy regarding her and Seele, aside from that, the two simply couldn't bring themselves to dislike this person.

"C'mon, don't be shy.

Doesn't this nickname sound so close and friendly?"

Before long, Elysia let go of the two of them, stepped back, and continued carefully taking in how Seele and Bronya had grown, nodding happily from time to time.

"So they know each other.

Gave me a scare."

Downstairs, Kiana watched the pink-haired woman happily hugging Seele and Bronya, and immediately relaxed.

Beside her, Sirin looked at her somewhat thick-headed sister with a strange expression.

Seele and Bronya obviously have feelings for that guy Xander, right?

And now another woman just came out of his room with him—this is really okay?

At this moment, Elysia also noticed the three downstairs craning their necks to watch the commotion above.

She lit up with delight.

"Wow, so many cute girls.

Is this heaven?!"

Then she turned her head to look at Xander, glanced at Seele and Bronya, and—as if seeking approval—asked, "Can I go chat with them?"

"Go on, go on.

Just don't be so enthusiastic you scare them."

With permission granted, Elysia happily headed downstairs, and Bronya and Seele finally had time alone with Xander.

Bronya stepped forward, fixed her gaze on Xander, and asked intently, "Why is she here?"

"To tell the truth, I don't know either."

He spread his hands, answering helplessly.

He'd been woken up at the crack of dawn by Elysia's "face wash."

Comfortable, sure, but bewildering all the same.

"Then how did Elysia-sis get in?" Seele asked, puzzled.

"Other than us, who else do you think could get a key to this place?"

He raised his brows at the two of them in a wordless hint.

"Cocolia-mom?!"

They spoke almost in unison, then looked at each other.

In each other's eyes they saw the same helplessness that matched Xander's.

Their own mother actually backstabbed her own daughters—what is that even?

"You didn't do anything just now, did you?"

"I'd only been awake a few minutes.

Bronya, you're kind of looking down on me here."

Facing Bronya's suspicious look, Xander blustered with a guilty conscience.

"Who asked you that!"

Bronya was interested in that topic, sure, but was this the time for it?!

"A few minutes really wouldn't be enough..."

Seele murmured without thinking, then noticed the even more doubtful look Bronya-sis shot her.

Seele snapped back to her senses, turned beet-red, and ran off.

"S-Seele should go make breakfast!"

Wasn't breakfast already made?

Watching Seele's quickly vanishing figure, Bronya was full of question marks.

Seele's voice had been too soft just now; she hadn't heard clearly, and she had even wanted to ask what Seele had said.

"All right, all right, it's just Elysia-sis dropping by.

Everyone can play together, and it'll be livelier with more people.

Looking at you like this, anyone who didn't know better would think she was going to eat me."

He had meant it as a joke, but Bronya nodded seriously.

She really was worried that pink-haired one would eat Xander alive.

When Elysia turns her love for everyone into love for just one person, Bronya felt no one could possibly refuse it—no matter their gender.

If you compared romance to an RPG, that previous fiancée was just an ordinary stage mini-boss, but Elysia was definitely the hidden, behind-the-scenes final boss.

If you only wanted to clear the game, you naturally didn't need to tug on the hidden boss's whiskers.

But if you wanted to truly clear it and stand at the very top, then this boss was an unavoidable problem.

At least for now, Bronya had no confidence at all that she could contend with that boss.

Downstairs, Elysia quickly blended into the trio's little circle and began chatting with high spirits.

"My name is Elysia.

As you can see, I'm a beautiful girl just like my name suggests~"

"My friends all call me Elysia.

You should call me that too—it sounds cute, just like me."

Such a seemingly narcissistic self-introduction didn't make anyone feel put off.

Looking at that sweet smile, everyone felt it was perfectly natural, as if she were meant to be this way.

"Elysia... wait, aren't you that—!!!"

From the start, Sirin had felt Elysia looked familiar.

Leaning in for a closer look—wasn't this Miss Pink Elf♪ from the Schicksal blog!

"Hmm?

You mean Miss Pink Elf♪?

That is indeed my account."

"R-really?

Fairy La— no, no, I mean Elysia.

Elysia, can I have your autograph?!!"

Sirin excitedly rummaged through her bag and quickly pulled out a sheet of paper and a marker.

"Mhm~ of course.

For a cute girl like you, Sirin, Miss Pink Elf♪ is honored."

"No, no, no, I'm the one who should be honored!"

Saying that, Sirin handed the paper and pen to Elysia in a rush.

Elysia wrote her name on it and dotted a cute little heart at the end.

When Sirin took the autograph, her heart instantly bloomed with joy.

She had already been a fan of Miss Pink Elf♪, and now she could show this to those jerks in her livestream room.

Let them call her "pufferfish" all day—this would make them die of envy!
