The forest exploded in motion as the lynan rushed past him carrying a heavy wind with it, the ground where shaking just from the heavy weight of the beast together with its fast speed making the branches and root on it way to snaps.
Felix had hidden himself quite well not far from the lynan overlord region.
He knew better than anyone else to what degree of strength the beast can achieve at this moment. The item he stole might be the most precious treasure of the beast, making it go crazy for Felix blood.
Using the crazy mindset of the beast to his advantage, immediately he rushed out of the lair Felix hid himself using the forest leaf as a coverage helping him escape the pursuit of the lynan overlord.
Not wasting his time here Felix rushed to the other direction heading towards the city.
After moving for about 30 minutes and making sure he could not here the rumbling of the forest anymore Felix relax his nerves and calm down resting on a rock.
He steady his breath and only now did he know how heavily injured he was, the moment he relaxed his butt on the rock he found it hard and taxing just to steer his body to the side.
If not for his strong body due to his new bloodline he would have died at the hand of the lynan overlord.
Taking a deep breath Felix took out the old box that was storing the magical item.
The box does not have a lock and it was easy to open, the instant he open it slightly Felix could feel a surge of natural energy coming from the thing inside, he felt like if he swallowed this item it would bring him a lot of benefits.

Using all his speed Felix run towards the city but his heavy injury still dragged him down even after activating his skill - rapidforce resonance. He could only grit his teeth and continue pushing forward.
The angry beast didn't even care about anything else pouring all it energy into its limbs raising it speed exponentially. All the mossdrift lynan overlord want right now was to shredd Felix to pieces.
As the lynan speed closed on him Felix didn't panick because he knew that if he started panicking he would reduce his speed more making the lynan arrived at a faster pace.
Just when the distance between them was about ten meters Felix rushed out of the forest, he could see the city just a little distance away from but that was not what made him excited, Felix could see a lot of people outside the forest either going in or going back to the city.
But Felix didn't stop running only when he arrives at the city could his mind rest at peace because due to the fierce lynan beast charge, Felix was not sure if the lynan overlord won't rush out of the forest to focus it attack on him.
Not long after Felix rush towerd the city, as expected the beast came out of the forest and continue it pursuit.
"Hey a beast has trespass into our territory"
Someone immediately notice the mossdrift lynan that is rushing out of the forest.
"Attack it even a weak beast with the level of E rank 7 has the courage to charge in here?"

Immediately after the first person sounded the alarm tens of people charge towards the beast killing it in one move.
The mossdrift lynan overlord has already regain its physical form while in pursuit of Felix, their defense was not good in the least so it can't endure those attacks at all.
The mossdrift lynan overlord wanted to struggle away to land an attack on the person running ahead but the strength of this tens of people overwhelmed it killing it straight away.
After killing the mossdrift lynan the people around then split the good part of the body between each other, at least it can still earn them a few money.
"Don't you guys think it weird for a beast to just charge out just like that"
A middle aged man that has partake in the killing of the beast and has taken his share reveal his doubt.
"I also thought it was another beast attack but when I saw only one I was relieved.

Beasts attacks come in horde from the weakest to the strongest and before the strong horde arrived the weak ones would have drain a lot of the meta human energy.
"I don't think so I think I saw a young boy running towards the city before the beast emerge from the forest"
Another person made a comment as he had seen Felix running out of the forest but was not sure if it was because of the beast.
Without anyone knowing the reason the mossdrift lynan matter was left unsolved.
