Transported back into the room Felix felt exhausted and immediately lay flat on the bed not bothering with his injuries.
"Hmm?.... I didn't feel any pain from my body at all" seeming to not have felt any pain Felix rushed to check himself and to his surprise, he was not slightly wounded, even his cloth that was torn by the abbysal demons has been mended.
After going through his body for multiple times Felix didn't discover any scratch on his body and he even felt stronger.
"What's really with these system, even the current best technology can't compare to it" Felix was now really scared of the system as even he didn't know where that red colored deserted place is.
"Just failing to do the daily mission almost got me killed, what if I failed a high mission giving to me by the system, won't I die instantly" Felix shuddered at this thought as he firm his mind to be careful.
*BANG! BANG!*
"Ahhh"
The extremely loud knocking gave Felix a shock as he instantly stood vigilant. The violent knocking resided after a while making Felix heaves a sigh of relief. He didn't understand why someone will try to still from this place.
There didn't seems to be anything valuable in the place and the outside part of the apartment was not even enjoying to the eyes.
"Ohh maybe it one of Jasmine stalkers that couldn't contin... hmm...wait Jasmine?"
Realization immediately struck Felix, he had disappeared for two hours while the owner of the apartment was not around and he had locked the door from the inside making it impossible to be open from the outside due to the complex mechanism.
"Oh sh*t"
"Big sister Jasmine?" Felix tome sounded like a little kitten that has been caught doing something bad, as he walked towards the door calling out Jasmine name.
"If you don't open this door right now I will make sure I roast your bone when I caught you" Hearing the threatening tone that sound different from the bird like voice Felix began sweating profusely.Hurriedly unlocking the door what met with Felix was a cold glare that almost made Felix to run.
"Why....why me I just went through a life and death situation and when I thought I'm safe I ran into the devil side of the of this beauty" Felix felt like crying as he always suffer from one thing to another.
"Uh hem, sister Jasmine how long have you been waiting outside why don't you go in I want to stretch my body outside for a while"
Clearing his throat Felix tried to excuse himself from this awkward situation as he made an excuse but Jasmine was not ready to leave the doorway.
"Your injuries has healed already right?" Jasmine tone was totally different from hours ago as she send an icy look on Felix.
"Hmm?....ye.... almost.... yeah almost" Felix stuttered as he felt a little embarrassed, he could only blame the system for making him disappear without a first hand notice.
"En.... can I stay at this other apartments I promise to pay my rent on time, I don't really have a place to stay" Felix had decided to find a place in Ignara city to stay because it would be stressful for him to journey to and fro from his slum area.
There where two blocks in this place and from the conversation Jasmine had with the middle aged men Felix knew she was the owner of this land.
"At least I can hunt for beast easily and sell the material in the city" he could only tried his best to stay here as finding other place might be harder and he currently has no money on him.
"Humph" Jasmine grunted slightly as she didn't really had a good impression of Felix and had only saved him because of her kind heart but that doesn't mean she was dumb.
The other block was the one her father had stayed after they got here, since when they arrived here her father had told her to always cover her face and be cautious of the people around her, but three years ago he had disappeared without leaving behind any clue or so.
Although she had no qualms with Felix and he had even helped her during the day she was still not willing to give out the other block to him, what if he had other plans behind his stay.
Even she knew how her beauty can bring with it luck, but with luck comes disaster, it depends on which one was grabbed.
"I really I'm sincere, if you have any other condition I will still comply" using a pitiful face Felix hurriedly added as he noticed that Jasmine was still unsatisfied.
"Okay you can stay there and my only condition is not to disturb me and not to disclose the matter of ever seeing who I am"
After thinking through it Jasmine backed down and accepted Felix into her personal land. Thanking Jasmine Felix check into the room calmly, he was expecting a dusty filled room but to his surprise the whole place was clean.
"With nobody staying here that girl still cleaned this place" in disbelief Felix impression of Jasmine improved greatly in his mind.
Except for the bed at the side the whole room was empty with no other furniture in place. The current world is different from the past in which people rarely store their things at home, storage bags and storage electronics had made things a lot easier, so Felix didn't think much of it.
Rushing towards the bathroom at the left corner of the room Felix took of his clothes and took a clean bathe making him feel refreshed and clear headed.
"Tomorrow will be the start of my adventure" Felix had made up his mind to become stronger and stronger till no one can decide his fate, Felix took both the life and death situation he experienced as the beginning of his journey, he was not ready to give up so he had to strive more and more.
