Chapter 67 - Chapter 40: Man-Wolf Regains Human Form

Yamcha was not concerned with the grudge between Man-Wolf and Jackie Chun. He was only focused on his match.

So, Yamcha impatiently asked, "Hey, are you going to fight or not? If not, just get off the arena and admit defeat."

Yamcha's words resonated with the spectators who loved martial arts, and they also began to urge Man-Wolf to start the match. For them, the moon and transformation were irrelevant; they just wanted to watch the fight.

They had come to see the competition, and if there was no match, they wanted the Man-Wolf to get off the arena so they could watch the next quarter-final.

Man-Wolf was already furious because he couldn't find Jackie Chun, and now he was being urged by the crowd. He turned to look at Yamcha and realized that this guy was the same one who hadn't even touched Jackie Chun's clothes in the previous tournament and was blown off the arena by a gust of palm wind.

Man-Wolf sneered, "I thought you were someone, but you're just another one of Jackie Chun's defeated opponents."

"I remember in the last tournament, you were blown off the arena by Jackie Chun's palm wind without even touching his clothes, right?"

Hearing Man-Wolf's ridicule, Yamcha admitted that he was angry, and he wanted to show everyone that he was no longer the same person as before.

So, Yamcha shouted to the host, "Aren't you going to start the match?"

The host was taken aback, then looked at the furious Yamcha and immediately waved his hand, shouting, "Quarter-final match number two, begin!"

With a loud gong, the match officially started. The two contestants on the arena took their stances, both filled with anger. If the two had similar strengths, they would naturally engage in an exciting dragon-and-tiger fight.

However, there was no way around it; Yamcha had been given a power-up by John.

Man-Wolf took the initiative and attacked Yamcha with his sharp claws, but Yamcha easily dodged them.

After the initial exchange, Yamcha realized that Man-Wolf's strength was not a concern, so his anger subsided, and he said to Man-Wolf, "You wanted to teach me a lesson, but you can't even touch my clothes. How can you teach me a lesson?"

Under Yamcha's taunts, Man-Wolf furiously waved his sharp claws and charged forward. Yamcha leaped and flipped over Man-Wolf's head, landing behind him.

Man-Wolf, who had been dodged by Yamcha, couldn't stop in time and struck the decorative wall behind the arena with his palm, shattering it with his powerful force, causing the audience to gasp in surprise.

However, in Yamcha's eyes, this was nothing. What use was strength if you couldn't hit your opponent?

At this moment, Yamcha remembered his match with Jackie Chun in the previous tournament. He had also fought with all his might but couldn't even touch Jackie Chun's body, and in the end, he was blown off the arena by a gust of palm wind.

So, Yamcha decided to use the same technique. He clasped his hands together and began to gather his energy, and a faint white light emanated from his hands.

Seeing Yamcha's actions, Man-Wolf immediately understood his intention and furiously roared as he charged towards Yamcha, trying to stop him from completing the move.

However, before Man-Wolf could reach him again, Yamcha finished gathering his energy and waved his hand forcefully, creating a gust of wind that blew Man-Wolf off the arena.

"Yamcha wins!" the host shouted as he saw Man-Wolf fall off the arena.

Although this match wasn't as exciting as the previous one, Yamcha's display of strength still earned him enthusiastic applause from the audience.

Seeing Man-Wolf on the arena, enjoying the audience's applause, Yamcha couldn't help but sigh and was about to leave.

At this moment, a voice called out, "Wait a moment!"

Man-Wolf turned to see who was calling him and realized it was Master Roshi, whom he respected as a martial arts god.

"Ah, Master Roshi, what can I do for you?" Man-Wolf asked politely.

Master Roshi said, "You want to regain your human form, right? I can help you. Do you want to try?"

"Ah, ah! Are you saying you can help me regain my human form? Is this true?" Man-Wolf excitedly asked Master Roshi for confirmation.

"You can try. Anyway, the moon has already been destroyed, and even if you find Jackie Chun and avenge the destruction of the moon, it won't change this fact. Why not give my method a try?" Master Roshi suggested.

Man-Wolf's greatest desire was to regain his human form, so he immediately agreed.

The conversation between Man-Wolf and Master Roshi immediately caught the attention of the host. After understanding the situation, the host shouted to the audience, "We have some exciting news! Our martial arts teacher can help our Man-Wolf contestant regain his human form!"

"Let's wait and see this miracle unfold and witness how our martial arts teacher helps the Man-Wolf contestant regain his human form!"

Master Roshi invited the Man-Wolf contestant onto the arena and asked him to stand. Then, he waved his hand and called out to Krilin, "Krilin, come here."

Krilin obeyed his teacher's instructions and walked over, and Master Roshi asked him to stand with his back to the Man-Wolf contestant, his head facing the Man-Wolf.

Krilin immediately understood what his teacher meant and couldn't help but tease him, "Teacher, are you going to use my head as the full moon to trick him into transforming?"

Master Roshi tapped Krilin's head and said, "Don't talk. Don't interfere with my spell."

Then, Master Roshi began to cast a hypnotic spell on Man-Wolf. After the spell was complete, Master Roshi pointed to Krilin's head and said, "Look at this. This is the moon, and it's the brightest and roundest full moon."

The hypnotized Man-Wolf stared at Krilin's head, which began to resemble the full moon, and the arena was filled with the sound of Man-Wolf's rapid heartbeat.

As his heartbeat grew faster and faster, Man-Wolf suddenly shouted, "Bang!" and the hairy Man-Wolf instantly transformed into a chubby human.

Seeing that he had finally regained his human form, the Man-Wolf contestant was thrilled. He walked up to Master Roshi, shook his hand, and thanked him, "Thank you, Master Roshi. You are truly amazing!"

The Man-Wolf contestant also expressed his gratitude to Krilin, and in the midst of his excited exclamations of "I can date girls now," he left the World Martial Arts Tournament venue.

Looking at the human form of the Man-Wolf, Krilin couldn't help but tease, "I still think his wolf form was cooler. I doubt his current appearance will attract any girls."

Master Roshi agreed with Krilin, but this wasn't something they needed to worry about. Master Roshi patted Krilin's head and said, "Go, it's time for your match."
