"CRASH!"

The collision between Eddie's six Pokémon and the wild Dragonite produced a thunderous impact that once again drew the attention of everyone retreating from the beach.

This display of power could almost be described as world-shaking, serving as yet another reminder of just how terrifying Pokémon battles could become.

The spectacle made every trainer present realize that the gap between people could be absolutely enormous—a difference as vast as that between earth and sky!

"Such magnificent power! How beautiful these creatures are!"

"Compared to these gorgeous and powerful Pokémon, my previous collections are nothing but lifeless objects! Complete trash! They're not even worthy of being called garbage next to these magnificent beings!"

"If ordinary Pokémon and even pseudo-legendaries can be this beautiful, then how much more stunning must the legendary Pokémon be!"

"How wonderful it would be if I could add those legendary creatures to my collection room!"

Among the crowd evacuating from the beach, one particular man watched Eddie's Pokémon and the wild Dragonite with intense focus. His heart was racing with excitement, and his eyes revealed a barely concealed madness that went unnoticed by others.

Of course, he was the only person present harboring such twisted thoughts.

Everyone else watched this collision with genuine fear, hoping desperately that Eddie would emerge victorious—otherwise, they would all be in serious danger.

The clash between six Pokémon and the wild Dragonite seemed to reach its critical moment, and finally, the explosive impact was released.

"BOOM!"

With a deafening roar, the ocean seemed to explode outward, and the beachfront near the water was almost completely devastated. Fortunately, most people had retreated far enough from the shoreline to avoid the worst effects.

However, the tremendous winds and waves still knocked many bystanders off their feet. Luckily, the soft sand cushioned their falls, leaving them with only minor scrapes and bruises.

At the collision's epicenter, a massive crater several dozen meters deep had formed where the coastline met the sea. The backflowing seawater immediately rushed in to fill the enormous hole.

Nevertheless, the terrible destruction caused by this collision allowed even those who had been knocked down to clearly witness this display of power far beyond ordinary human comprehension.

Eddie's six Pokémon stood on the shore, all bearing various wounds. Although their injuries were serious, they retained the ability to continue fighting if necessary.

Dragonite's entire body was steaming, and its injuries appeared more severe than those of Eddie's team. Even some of its protective scales had been knocked loose and were falling away.

But like Eddie's Pokémon, it still possessed fighting capability, and the savage intensity in its eyes had grown even stronger, as if it was preparing to unleash one final, desperate attack.

"The only Dragon-type moves more powerful than Dragon Rush are Draco Meteor and Outrage."

"Draco Meteor is considered the ultimate Dragon-type technique. Only a very select few Dragon-type Pokémon can master it, and I seriously doubt this wild Dragonite has learned such an advanced move."

"In that case, it can only be planning to use Outrage!"

From Dragonite's aggressive posture, Eddie could tell it was preparing for a last-ditch effort, and its only remaining trump card would be the devastating Outrage attack.

"Unfortunately for you, that opportunity has already passed."

Eddie smiled confidently and pointed toward the exhausted dragon.

"Everyone, finish this!"

As soon as he spoke, flames, dragon energy, blizzard winds, lightning bolts, water shurikens, and energy beams all launched simultaneously at Dragonite.

"ROAAAAAR!"

Dragonite let out one final, anguished cry before the sound cut off abruptly. Its massive body crashed heavily into the ocean, sending up an enormous splash.

Ding! Dratini gained experience! Level increased by 25, reaching Level 30! Learned Twister, Dragon Rage, Slam, and Agility!

Just as Eddie had expected, the Level 60 Dragonite had been an enormous source of experience points.

In a situation where leveling became extremely difficult after reaching Level 50, Eddie's Pokémon had collectively surged ahead by defeating a Dragonite nearly 10 levels higher than themselves.

Dratini received the most dramatic improvement, jumping up 25 levels, while veterans like Charizard gained a solid 5 levels, reaching Level 56 in a single battle.

Due to the level gap and varying experience distribution, Gardevoir and several others had also reached Level 56.

Regardless of the specifics, this was entirely thanks to Dragonite's contribution. The experience it provided to Eddie was almost equivalent to the sum total of all his adventures since eliminating Team Rocket's branch in Celadon City.

Of course, this was something only Eddie could accomplish. After all, he had used six Pokémon that had barely reached Gym Leader level to defeat a Gym Leader level pseudo-legendary Pokémon.

If it were anyone else, even using six Level 59 Pokémon, they wouldn't dare claim certain victory, let alone six Pokémon that had only just reached Gym Leader status. For ordinary trainers, this would have been considered an impossible battle.

However, the world was never short of talented individuals, prodigies, and even genuine geniuses!

People like Ash, Gary, and Eddie were undoubtedly among those exceptional few!

Of course, compared to naturally gifted trainers like Ash and Gary, Eddie had achieved this victory through acquired battle experience and his deep familiarity with his Pokémon team.

But so what? Even if Eddie's strength came from hard work rather than pure talent, others would simply consider him an even greater 'genius' than Ash, Gary, and other prodigies!

"That was absolutely incredible! I wonder if there will be more opportunities like this in the future."

Eddie displayed a satisfied smile, shaking his head to clear away the sweat that had accumulated during their intense battle, and sighed contentedly.

He had originally expected such significant improvement only after facing Team Rocket on the Sevii Islands, but he hadn't anticipated such a pleasant surprise occurring here.

In short, he felt particularly happy and fulfilled at this moment.

However, this cheerful mood didn't last very long.

Because someone apparently decided to stir up trouble.

Actually, there was no "apparently" about it—she was definitely causing problems!

"My darling! You actually defeated that Dragonite! Amazing! Here's your reward!"

Green giggled mischievously as she ran toward Eddie. Right in front of everyone present, she threw her arms around him and kissed him passionately.

This wasn't some gentle, innocent kiss—it was aggressive, deep, and completely possessive in nature.

Eddie didn't react at all, simply standing there in stunned surprise while Green did whatever she pleased.

Not only that, but he found himself instinctively responding to her advances.

After what felt like an eternity, the girl finally pulled back. Her pretty face had turned slightly red, and she wiped the corner of her mouth with a smugly satisfied smile.

Most importantly, she looked directly at the shocked Misty with an unmistakably provocative expression.

The scene suddenly became eerily quiet, filled with a certain oppressive atmosphere.

There was no doubt about the source of that tension—it was radiating directly from Misty's direction.
