Faced with such a situation, Eddie calmly took out an Ultra Ball and threw it directly at the unconscious Dragonite.

Dragonite had already lost consciousness and was naturally captured by the Ultra Ball.

"What are you doing? We still have to deal with the aftermath here. Many people were blown away by the battle's impact just now," Eddie said calmly, as if he didn't notice the tense atmosphere.

Misty and Green looked at the crowd upon hearing this and found that it was exactly as Eddie said. Although there were no casualties at the moment, many people had indeed been knocked around by the battle's aftermath.

While the injuries weren't serious, the large number of affected people made the overall scene look quite distressing.

Of course, there were still some uninjured people who were standing around watching the spectacle like curious onlookers.

However, Eddie wasn't someone to be trifled with. Moreover, he had just demonstrated strength that made everyone respect him. Now, after he glanced over, many people lowered their heads nervously, not daring to look directly at Eddie.

"Hmph! I'll settle things with you after I finish here," Misty said, leaving those words before returning to the crowd to organize and direct them again. This time, there was no need to evacuate, but rather to help those who were injured.

"Eddie, you're amazing. You solved the problem so quickly," Green said with a smile on her face, but in Eddie's eyes, Green's smile at that moment reminded him of a mischievous troublemaker.

Eddie raised his eyebrows and looked at Green, feeling helpless about how to handle her.

After all, he had just been forcefully kissed by Misty, and then he had kissed Misty back in return.

Green had probably seen this scene, so she was deliberately trying to provoke Misty.

It was really difficult for him, caught in the middle between them. After all, while he enjoyed this kind of attention, he also had to deal with the consequences.

"Stop causing trouble. Go help with the rescue efforts. I'm going back to the Pokemon Center to rest for a while," Eddie said. He had fought a fierce battle, and it hadn't been easy to win. He was covered in sweat, so it was natural that he wanted to go back and rest.

"Hehe~~~ Go ahead, go to the Pokemon Center and get some good rest. Anyway, you and I will be going to the Seafoam Islands together later, so we'll have plenty of time to talk," Green said. She naturally knew that Eddie wasn't going back just to rest, but she wasn't annoyed. She was actually grateful that he was giving her a chance to handle things here.

After saying that, Green walked toward the crowd and began helping with the rescue efforts.

As for Eddie, after speaking with Green, he also headed to the Pokemon Center in Vermilion City to rest.

When he arrived at the Pokemon Center, it was already dusk.

Eddie had gone to the canyon in the morning and resolved the incident of Team Rocket bombing it. He had then battled five fossil Pokemon and captured them.

At noon, he had gone to the Safari Zone and fought a fierce battle alongside Green against Dragonair.

Now it was already afternoon. He and Green had rushed to Fuchsia City, and after the Dragonite battle, it was already dusk.

"It's getting late, and it looks like we can't go out to sea today. Let's just rest here for a day," Eddie said while lying on the bed in the guest room of the Pokemon Center after healing his Pokemon.

"We fought three major battles today, and the gains weren't small. The most important thing was the massive amount of experience from that Dragonite just now. That was really satisfying."

"But I wonder if I'll be able to encounter more Gym Leader level wild Pokemon like this. They're like huge experience packages," Eddie mused. He had rarely encountered quasi-Elite level wild Pokemon before. Pokemon of this strength were mostly found in extremely dangerous wilderness areas - places that trainers didn't dare venture into.

Although this world felt like a game, it was almost like reality.

Unlike in video games, when you enter high-level wild areas, you don't encounter just one wild Pokemon at a time.

Normally, you'd be surrounded and attacked by groups of Pokemon in the wild. In such cases, if the wild Pokemon are weaker than yours, it's not a problem.

But if the Pokemon are stronger than yours and they come in groups, then even using all your Pokemon wouldn't help.

"Speaking of which, given my current situation, if I go to Victory Road or Mt. Silver, will I be surrounded and overwhelmed by groups of Gym Leader Pokemon?" Eddie wondered. Although he found the thought a bit scary, he was also somewhat eager to try it.

With his current strength, he didn't need to fear being defeated when facing groups of Gym Leader-level Pokemon. On the contrary, he could defeat them and gain lots of experience.

Although it was only that difficult because the opponent was a pseudo-legendary Pokemon, according to Eddie's calculations, he could now handle about ten Gym Leader level Pokemon.

As long as the opponents weren't pseudo-legendaries like Dragonite, he could still handle three Level 60 Pokemon, though he'd need all of his Pokemon to battle.

"By the way, speaking of pseudo-legendary Pokemon, Pupitar and Dratini seem to have reached the level where they can evolve," Eddie said, then released Pupitar.

"ROAR!!"

"Mmmmm~"

Pupitar and Dratini roared as soon as they emerged. Even though they hadn't evolved yet, their voices had already deepened into more powerful roars.

Fortunately, the soundproofing in the Pokemon Center guest rooms was quite good, so Pupitar's roar didn't disturb anyone else.

"ROAR!!"

Pupitar and Dratini continued to roar, and then they began emitting the brilliant light of evolution.

The light was dazzling, but Eddie had already taken out his sunglasses and put them on, looking as calm as ever. Eddie was already accustomed to such sudden bright flashes, and he wasn't going to let this trick hurt his eyes anymore.

Pupitar's hard shell kept falling away as a massive body broke through, preparing to emerge from within.

Dratini also began shedding its scales as its body stretched and grew.

Ten seconds later, a two-meter-tall Tyranitar and a two-meter-long Dragonair appeared before Eddie.

"Finally, I have a pseudo-legendary from the Johto region. I'm sure the old gentleman will be very pleased," Eddie thought of the elderly man who had given him this pseudo-legendary Pokemon, wondering where he might be now.

However, Eddie would be attending the Indigo League Conference, and the old gentleman would definitely be able to see him and Tyranitar on television. Eddie believed that when that time came, the old man would think that giving the Pokemon to Eddie had been an extremely wise choice.
