Ian turned to Edward, he looked so pitiful. If there was one thing about Edward, he was humble, quick to learn and admit to his mistakes.
"Since we were three years old," Ian answered.
Easton rolled his eyes, that did not matter. He was still Ian's longest friend. They had known each other since birth, and no one could compete with that.
"And ever since we were three, have I ever handled anything that belonged to you carelessly?" he asked.
"Until this moment," Ian said.
"Disregard this moment, think about everything we have been through until now, have I ever been careless with what you entrust me with?".
"No," Ian said.
"Have I ever revealed your secrets to anyone else?" he asked.
"No.".
"Have I ever not been there for you when you needed me? Ready to do anything you ask?".
"No," Ian replied.
