Chapter 312 - Chapter 313 - Arrival of the Aeldari in Planetos (V)

"Orks and more Orks. The more you kill, the more they appear; there's no end to the infinite hordes of greenskins." Thoughts of an Astartes during a great WAAAGH.

------

As the festivities took place, Aenar looked up and smiled calmly. He looked at Daenerys and whispered to her, "It seems our noble guest has just arrived. However, he doesn't want to reveal himself before the people and his own believers."

"Typical of a god, always thinking they're better than all beings in the universe." Daenerys said, snorting coldly. She really didn't like other gods, especially those arrogant races like the Aeldari.

Aenar didn't comment and disappeared into his throne. Below the Imperial Palace, an underground palace could be found; it was enormous and colossal. A huge ruby throne could be seen atop polished black steps.

Sitting on the Throne, Aenar didn't even need to do anything, and the Aeldari God-King himself arrived before him.

He was a three-meter-tall man, with long white hair and silver skin. Both eyes were of different colors; one was blue and the other was green. He was a very handsome man with pointed ears.

He wore colorful feathered clothes that seemed to glow in the light of any source. A crown of light could be seen in his white hair, shining like a small star.

While Aenar analyzed Asuryan, Asuryan also analyzed Aenar. The first impression the God-King had of the God-Emperor of Humanity was one of lightness. He didn't seem like a god carrying the burden of an entire race. He looked relaxed, in an elegant red robe. The golden laurel wreath only added an even more evident touch of nobility to him.

"Majesty." Asuryan greeted Aenar with a calm and terribly indifferent tone. He had lived for a very long time; indifference and coldness had become part of his nature.

"Phoenix King." Aenar greeted Asuryan back with a smile, not caring about the cold and indifferent greeting. The older a being, the more indifferent they will be; it seemed like a natural thing in the universe. Even if the body is immortal, the soul gets tired after repeatedly losing loved ones.

Aenar appeared in front of Asuryan and created two thrones, one facing the other. Leda and Naerys, who had already returned behind Aenar, served a glass of wine to both divine beings.

"It's called wine; it's our specialty, a drink made from a sweet and sour fruit depending on the season it's planted." Aenar said, bringing the glass of wine to his own lips and enjoying the slightly sour and sweet taste.

Asuryan drank out of respect, but his expression didn't say much beyond indifference.

"It seems the King wants to get straight to the point." Aenar commented, looking at Asuryan with a smile, in no hurry.

"Yes." Asuryan nodded, the old god-king's expression remaining immutable and cold.

"Very well, I want the Webway and Wraithbone." Aenar stated directly what he wanted.

"Uru." Asuryan also said what he needed.

Both stared at each other in silence. In the end, it was Asuryan who broke the silence between them. "My people find it painful to trade the greatest technological advancements of my race, but in my eyes, nothing is more important than fighting the chaos gods."

Aenar scoffed internally at the words of the Aeldari God-King. The deity knew that his race would be the birthplace of a Chaos God and was completely desperate for anything to prevent the birth of Slaanesh.

How could the arrogant Asuryan be indifferent to the fact that they had to initiate negotiations with such a young and childish race?

In the eyes of mortals, there was nothing wrong with doing such a thing, but in the eyes of a god who once ruled an empire that covered a large part of the galaxy, it was absolutely humiliating. It only reminded him of the fact that they were weak.

So, although Asuryan might be calm and cold, Aenar knew more than anyone that the God-King wanted to tear his flesh and drink his blood.

"So, Your Excellency accepts?" Aenar asked with a gentle smile full of happiness. Honestly, he could wait a long time until humanity finally built its own Webway, but with Aeldari technology, the human race could make alterations and create their own Webway in a short amount of time.

Such a thing was what Aenar wanted to see. He wouldn't need to spend so much time being a beacon in the Warp. As soon as he could get Wraithbone technology, he could create world-ships for the human race, creating an ecological environment suitable for human life.

Just thinking about it, Aenar's lips couldn't smile even more; he even looked at Asuryan with a friendly gaze. After all, what Asuryan was doing was practically giving all resources for humans to develop dozens of times faster.

Aenar even wanted to give Asuryan the title of Human Sponsor, but he felt that the God-King would probably start a fight if he did that.

Seeing Aenar's smile, even the cold and indifferent Asuryan couldn't help but turn grim in an instant. However, thinking about the role that Uru Metal could benefit the Aeldari, Asuryan controlled his anger and returned to being calm and indifferent.

With a flick of Asuryan's finger, two pieces of green jade fell onto the arm of the throne he was sitting on. The God-King's blue and green eyes stared at Aenar, awaiting his move.

Aenar smiled, and a small flat block with red lines appeared on the arm of his throne. This black cube was the technology that Visenya and Rhaenys had researched for a long time. Aenar said nothing and sent the black cube to Asuryan, who did the same and sent the two pieces of jade to Aenar.

Holding both pieces of jade, Aenar looked at these beautiful pieces of jade and saw extremely complex carvings drawn on the surface of the jade. Aenar's smile grew wider seeing the designs on both jades.

"Good doing business with you, Phoenix King." Aenar put away the jades and said with a rather happy smile. He couldn't be happier at that moment.

Asuryan didn't respond and simply disappeared from the throne he was sitting on, leaving Aenar, Leda, and Naerys alone in the underground palace.

"That arrogant long-ear." Leda couldn't help but show a trace of dissatisfaction on her cold face. She couldn't believe that Asuryan was so arrogant that he didn't even say goodbye properly as a monarch should.

"That only shows how much he lost in this negotiation." Aenar replied with a smile, looking at both pieces of jade in his hand. "With this technology, the human race will have an environment suitable for growth regardless of how severe the planet's atmosphere or gravity is."

"When the population drastically increases, the Twenty-Two Astartes Legions will be able to recruit even more soldiers. Our strength will increase even further; we will enslave even more races across the galaxy and become stronger. Meanwhile, the Aeldari have to worry about the birth of the Chaos God in the center of their civilization."

"It's perfectly normal for him to be in a bad mood; I even prefer it that way, it shows how much the Aeldari have decayed to the extreme. This empire that controlled a large part of the galaxy fragmented in civil war and was divided into five different factions, further weakening the empire."

Aenar couldn't be happier at that moment; he really enjoyed seeing Asuryan's grim expression, because the Phoenix King knew that the human race would be a great danger in the future. But Asuryan himself had no choice.

Instead of worrying about the danger in the future, Asuryan preferred to worry about the current danger, which threatened his life and that of all Aeldari.

Remembering the Phoenix King's grim expression, Aenar was very happy. It's like they say, someone else's misfortune is a show for others.

"Naerys, pass the message to your mother and tell her to initiate an alliance with the three Craftworlds that came to Planetos." Aenar said with a smile. He predicted that there would be a war with an Ork Tribe in the near future, and to prevent the Legions from losing too many soldiers, he wanted to ally with the Aeldari to face this relatively large WAAAGH!

Aenar knew that success attracted Ork Tribes to a great WAAAGH, so he had to defeat the Orks quickly and show that there was no glory in fighting the Human Race.

To prevent more and more Orks from gathering and gaining more intelligence, Aenar had to put an end to these greenskins once and for all.

Orks generate a potent gestalt psychic field that allows them to perform many technological engineering feats that would otherwise seem impossible. At the same time, the power of this psychic field is directly proportional to the number of Greenskins present in a given location.

The more Orks gather, the more Orks are attracted to them, while the power and intelligence of the Greenskins begin to grow along with their numbers.

Honestly, this ability was completely broken; if the human race had such an ability, Aenar wouldn't need to worry much about the future.

What was more terrible was the reproductive capacity of the Orks, far surpassing even humans themselves, who were known for their remarkable reproductive capacity.

"Damn battle-crazed fools." Aenar muttered with a tone full of helplessness before the insatiable desire for battles.
