Below in the city, some crooks were seen having just robbed a laundromat. They quickly made their way into the nearby getaway car.
"Quick, punch it!" the passenger said.
The guy stepped on the pedal, accelerating the car, but it wasn't moving. It didn't take them long to realize that Lincoln was in front of their vehicle, using one foot to keep the car from movie.
"Sorry, you're not driving away," Lincoln said.
"It's Spider-Man! Get him!" The guys brought out their guns and opened fire, Lincoln easily leaping out of the way.
"Get some new tricks," Lincoln said, zipping to the driver's side and pulling out the driver, throwing him against a wall and webbing him up.
"I gotta bail," the passenger got out of the car with some money and attempted to sneak away through a back ally. However a second presence appeared before him.
"Halt, evil doer!" This presence being Christina in her new gear.
"Huh? Who or what are you supposed to be?" the crook asked.
"Name's Firestar," Christina said, using her powers to blast the crook into some nearby garbage cans. "Learn it!"
"Great...another one..." the guy said, passing out from the pain.
"Wow, I actually did it..." Christina said, feeling happy for herself. "I beat up a bad guy! My first time fighting crime! Whoo! Yeah! I do it!" She then remembered the crook was lying passed out nearby. "Oh right, I should let the cops know."
It wasn't long before the police came to arrest the crooks, one officer thanking the young heroes for good work.
"Thanks for your help, Spider-Man," the cop said. "But um, who's this girl?"
"This is my new sidekick, Firestar," Lincoln introduced.
"Sidekick?" the cop said. "Wow, you must be really gaining traction as a hero if you already have a sidekick."
"Spider-Man's a bit of an inspiration for me to become a hero," Christina said, placing her arm around the boy. "With me around, we can stop crime twice as fast."
"Hey, we're all for it," the cop said.
"By the way officer," Lincoln said. "Have you come across a guy with electric powers?"
"Electric powers?" the cop asked. "Come to think of it, we have come across someone like that, he's been robbing banks left and right."
"I spotted him the other night terrorizing a house," Lincoln said. "Mayor Davis's former sidekick, Vic."
"Oh how the mighty have fallen," the cop said. "Don't worry, we'll nab him."
"If you do find him, try to contact me," Lincoln said.
"Uh, how?" the cop asked. "We don't got your phone number."
"Oh right..." Lincoln said. "Well, how about a Spider Signal? Shine my insignia in the sky."
"Huh? You mean like in those comic books I've seen kids reading?" the cop asked.
"Yeah, exactly," Lincoln said.
"Eh...I'll talk to the Mayor about it," the cop said. "By the way, do you know which house Vic was at?"
"He was near the Loud Family," Lincoln said. "They're fine though."
"The Loud Family?" The cop asked, recalling the group. "Oh, them. I've had my run-ins, between having to escort one of their daughters home twice after failing her road tests. Then later when they were having this loud party and disturbing such a quiet neighborhood. About fifty kids were seen leaving that place. I tell ya, those Louds can be a real pain sometimes."
"Oh, they're not so bad," Lincoln insisted, feeling some minor embarrassment. "They're just quirky."
"Well they haven't caused too much trouble lately, but I got my eye on them," the cop said. "Especially that little jock girl."
The cop drove off with the crooks, both Lincoln and Christina finding themselves surrounded by various individuals.
"Uh, greetings citizens, what can I do for you?" Lincoln asked.
"Who's she?"
"Is that your sidekick?"
"Where did you find her?"
"Is she a mutant?"
Lincoln put his arms up, "Alright, one at a time. This is my sidekick Firestar, she's going to protect Royal Woods with me."
"Is she your girlfriend!?"
"N-no, she's just a friend," Lincoln said. "The two of us are not romantically involved with one another."
Many more citizens began to surround the two, bugging them both with questions, much to Christina's concern as she whispered to the boy, "Hey Lincoln, maybe we should get going."
"Yeah, good idea," Lincoln whispered back, swinging away with Christina flying after him, everyone quick to grab their phones to take pictures of the duo, or record them in action.
"So, this is what it's like being a superhero?" Christina asked. "Being this big center of attention?"
"That's part of it, we're basically celebrities," Lincoln said, having landed far enough away from the crowd. "Let's change in these bushes."
"Sure, but no peaking," Christina teased.
"You know I wouldn't do that!" Lincoln said, the boy feeling immediately flustered.
"Yeah, I know," Christina teased. "You're too much of a gentleman after all."
Lincoln was quick to change into his civilian clothes, though couldn't help but think about the fact that a girl was changing not even five feet away from him. Of course, he still had his integrity and did not give into temptations.
Once outside the bushes, and fully changed, Lincoln was quick to point something out. "Your hair's brown again."
"My hair?" Christina asked. "Oh right, I had that wig."
"When did you get a wig?" Lincoln asked.
"It was Paige's idea," Christina said. "Actually it predates my Firestar thing, Paige wanted to get us into some type of carnival. They were having a special for siblings, so she bought an orange wig for me and tried to pass us off as twins. It didn't work, but we kept it for fun. I think she even got a brown wig and one time we pretended to be each other. It was really funny."
"So you used the wig to help with your disguise," Lincoln said. "That's really clever."
"Thanks, at least people are less likely to suspect me," Christina said.
"Well you did a great job today, you have a good future ahead of you," Lincoln said. "I patrol daily, you don't always have to join me, if anything I can call you if I really need help."
"Thanks, but I'll keep up with the patrols," Christina said. "Call or text me tomorrow when you're about to head out, we'll set up a meeting point."
"Sure, get home safe," Lincoln said.
"No trouble for me," Christina said, making her exit.
"Well today went well, hopefully things keep up with this momentum," Lincoln said, making his trip back home. "Still, I gotta figure out the situation with Vic. I might need to patrol again later tonight, I could call Christina but I don't want to overwhelm her too much. I'll sneak out later and see if I can find him."
It wasn't long before Lincoln arrived back home, the boy immediately greeted by Lana, "Hey, Lincoln! Did you hear about Spider-Man?"
"No, what's up?" Lincoln asked.
"He has a sidekick, it's Christina in her Firestar outfit!" Lana said. "She looks pretty cool."
Lincoln checked the TV, Katherine Mulligan was reporting on the duo, "Looks like Royal Woods can rest easy knowing that we have not one, but two superheroes keeping us safe. The brave efforts of Spider-Man and Firestar will prove to be a force that drives away villainy."
"Glad she's getting good press at least," Lincoln said.
"And now...some words from J Jonah Jameson," Katherine said, the woman looking concerned. "Mr. Jameson?"
"Our worst fears have come to fruition," Jameson said. "That menace Spider-Man has corrupted the mind of a poor young girl! Now she is being dragged along on this unholy crusade, teetering the lines of justice and heading into the plague that is vigilantism!"
"Sir, she's clearly trying to be a superhero, Spider-Man was a good influence on her," Katherine said.
"I don't doubt that the girl probably wants to do good, but Spider-Man has her under his spell, probably to keep her in line while he continues to have free reign over the city," Jameson said. "That menace won't stop until he's gathered an army, ready to take down all those who are in the way of his plan to rule this city."
"...Uh-huh, sure," Katherine said. "Anyway, that's all the time we have today."
"Come check my podcast if you want more," Jameson said. "'Just the Facts', with me, J Jonah Jameson!"
"A podcast?" Lincoln asked.
"Hey, remember the time we tried starting a Podcast?" Lana asked.
"You mean 'Listen Out Loud'?" Lincoln asked. "Yeah, I remember, too bad it didn't go too far."
"We can totally start it up again," Lana said. "Blow Jameson's podcast out of the water."
"That would be funny," Lincoln said, then heard some buzzing on his phone. "I gotta take this."
"I'll be here, watching some monster trucks," Lana said, changing the channel.
"Oh, I'll join you in a second," Lincoln said, taking his phone call outside. "Hey Christina."
"Hey, I just saw the broadcast about us," Christina said. "It just reminded me about the things that Jameson guy, is he always trashing you like this?"
"Pretty much every opportunity," Lincoln said.
"Why though? You're clearly one of the good guys," Christina said. "What if he starts getting people to think I'm a troublemaker too?"
"Well, he said I was a bad influence on you, I think he's trying to build sympathy or something," Lincoln said. "Hopefully he focuses it all on me and not drag you down."
"He shouldn't be dragging you down either!" Christina said. "You're the good guy!"
"Not like a lot of people take him seriously, it doesn't get to me so don't let it get to you," Lincoln said.
"If you say so, I'm glad you're so levelheaded with this, and thick skinned too," Christina said. "Of course, that video from years back kind of showed you're cool with being laughed at or ridiculed, hopefully to a reasonable extent."
"You mean that one with the video contest?" Lincoln asked. "I still feel weird talking about it with you since...you know."
"Hey like I said, I'm totally over it," Christina said. "It's like that lease on life I mentioned before."
"Does it have to do with your powers?" Lincoln asked.
"Yeah, once I found out I was a mutant, all that other stuff felt so trivial," Christina said. "So a boy had a crush on me, you handled it in a weird way but it was a little flattering."
"You're just being nice," Lincoln said.
"Just take the compliment. By the way, did you intentionally record that stuff to embarrass yourself?" Christina asked.
"No, my sister Luan recorded that, she recorded everything in secret," Lincoln said. "I just borrowed her tapes to make a video."
"Well that makes things a little less weird," Christina said.
"There's a whole reason that happened in the first place," Lincoln said.
"Eager to hear about it, let's talk about it during our patrol tomorrow," Christina said.
"Sure thing," Lincoln said, hanging up. "Funny how far things have come between me and Christina. I always figured if I had a sidekick, it'd be Clyde. But I guess life had different plans, but no complaints, Christina's a great girl."
That night, Lincoln had snuck out of the house, dressed in his hero gear to see if he could find any sign of Vic. The town was pretty quiet for the most part, everyone sound asleep and there was no sign of trouble.
"Seems to be less burglaries," Lincoln commented. "Either I stopped them all myself or maybe everyone's scared off because Christina's with me now?"
As Lincoln pondered this, he saw a blue flash of light in the corner of his eye. He turned to see that Vic was making his way through the streets below.
"I knew I'd find him," Lincoln quietly followed Vic to his destination.
The former Mayor assistant appeared before another bank, one he hadn't robbed yet, "I just need to increase my funds a tad bit more, and hurt Royal Woods' funds in the process. Won't be long before I unleash my grand plan to take over Mayor Davis's office, run her out of town and finally have my revenge on Royal Woods! Then I will become Mayor, not of this town...but the whole world! Mwahahahaha!"
"So that's your plan," Lincoln said, Vic quickly turning around. "Appreciate the villain monologue there, now I know exactly what you're up to."
"Spider-Man! Here for more?" Vic asked, readying his powers.
"Don't think you'll get the jump on me like you did last time," Lincoln said. "I may have taken a bad hit, but true heroes learn from their mistakes and-"
Suddenly Lincoln took a blast from Vic right into a nearby car.
"Now who's monologuing?" Vic taunted.
"Jerk!" Lincoln dashed in and punched Vic toward the bank wall, the villain quickly turning into electricity and leaving. "Hey! Get back here!"
"Make me!" Vic's voice was heard saying as he zipped through some telephone wires.
"Think you're clever huh!? Then take this!" Lincoln knocked over a powerline, snapping the wires and knocking Vic out.
"Resourceful," Vic used his electricity to blasted a nearby car toward Lincoln, the boy kicking the car and knocking it back into Vic.
"You're going to have to do better than that!" Lincoln said. He then saw that Vic disappeared again, much to his frustration. "Now where did he go?"
He then felt a tap on his back, the boy quickly turning around, ready to fight.
"Whoa! It's me!" Christina said, the girl fully dressed.
"Chr-Firestar?" Lincoln asked. "What are you doing out so late?"
"I can ask you the same thing," Christina said.
"I'm looking for Vic," Lincoln said.
"Without me?" Christina asked. "Aren't we supposed to be a team now?"
"Yeah but...wait, hold on, why are you out here?" Lincoln asked.
"I came out to do a little patrolling," Christina said. "Just for the extra practice, so I can be a more efficient crime fighter."
"That's great and all but you're still new to this, I'd rather be around to make sure you don't get hurt," Lincoln said.
"Hey you did fine on your own," Christina said.
"I didn't have the option of a mentor, you do," Lincoln said.
"Yeah, I know but-" Christina remembered something. "Wait, weren't you fighting a villain?"
Lincoln's eyes widened, "Right, he was around here too!"
"Up here," Vic said, sending a blast that the two narrowly avoided, but the aftermath caused the explosion of a nearby van, not only damaging some nearby buildings but also knocking over another telephone wire.
To make things worse, some oil spilled out of the car, and the moment the loose wire touched it, a massive explosion went off, leaving fires everywhere.
"On no, the fire's going toward that apartment complex!" Christina pointed out.
"Have fun saving people," Vic said, escaping through some wires.
"He's not getting away that easily!" Lincoln shouted, about to give chase when Christina called him.
"Now's not the time! First we see if people need help!" Christina said.
"Right, of course," Lincoln said.
After about ten minutes, the firetrucks were there to put out any fires along with police cars and the ambulance, while Lincoln and Christina helped out any nearby civilians, from tenants to workers, and even some nearby critters.
"Alright, that should just about cover it," a policeman said. "Fortunately it seems like there are no casualties."
"Oh good, glad to know everyone's alright," Christina said.
"Good thing you two were here, working late nights, it ain't easy," the cop said.
"Yeah, sure..." Lincoln said.
"Something got you down?" the policeman asked.
"I was tailing a villain when this happened, he was about to rob a bank, and said something about Mayor Davis," Lincoln said. "But he escaped."
"Well, what matters is that you saved these people," the cop said. "And you got some information. I've seen your style Spider-Man, even when the villain looks like he got away, you still show up later to stop him."
"He's right, let's just regroup tomorrow and figure things out from there," Christina said.
"Right, of course," Lincoln said, swinging away while Christina flew off.
The cop turned to check on the paramedics, "Alright, double time it, we still got people to check on. Also someone phone the chief, I got some information he's gonna need."
As Lincoln was swinging home, he got a phone call from Stella, "Hey Lincoln, is something going on in the city?"
"Something did happen," Lincoln said. "Wait, did you know?"
"I thought I heard an explosion, then I heard a bunch of police sirens," Stella said. "Was there a fight?"
"Yeah, I went after Vic, but he got away," Lincoln said. "This is the second time he escaped, and I had Christina by my side."
"Wow, he's pretty crafty," Stella said. "But it's fine, villains have gotten away before, and you usually find them in the end."
"It hasn't happened twice," Lincoln said. "I beat Shocker the first time around, Vulture got away once then I beat him later, I took down Toad pretty quickly, and The Lizard took only two tries as well."
"Well the pattern can't hold up," Stella said. "You catch them in the end anyway, that's all that matters."
"Except for Sabretooth," Lincoln said. "And a group called The Enforcers, they got away from me."
"Well, Wolverine's looking for Sabretooth," Stella said. "I don't know who The Enforcers are though, but we haven't heard anything from them in a while."
"They're probably back in New York," Lincoln said.
"Then The Avengers can deal with them," Stella said. "Try to look on the bright side."
"The bright side is that people are safe at least, and we have a new lead on Vic, but I'm worried he might be hard for me to beat," Lincoln said.
"Everything will turn out fine, plus third time's the charm after all," Stella said. "You'll get him soon."
"I appreciate the confidence," Lincoln said, arriving at his house. "I'll talk to you more tomorrow."
"Alright Lincoln, have a good night," Stella said.
"You too, be safe," Lincoln said, heading inside his house.
The following morning, Lincoln was seen making his way downstairs for breakfast. He had a big day ahead of him and wanted to get as much to eat as possible. Though in a house like this, he knows that food is not as plentiful as he'd like.
"I can smell some biscuits, hopefully Lynn hasn't eaten all of them, I need meat," Lincoln stepped into the kitchen, immediately spotting Lana eating a bowl of cereal while Luna and Luan were standing near a coffee machine.
"So, why are you drinking coffee again?" Luan asked. "Given how energetic you already are, I don't need the extra stimulation."
"I was up late last night writing some new jams for the next big show the Moon Goats are performing," Luna said. "I need a little extra to perk me up for today."
"Still..." Luan said.
"Also, I'm not that energetic, and we've had coffee before," Luna said. "I'll just go light on the sugar."
"Eh, guess I can try some too," Luan said. "I haven't gotten much sleep either, I've been trying to figure out schedules for both my comedy and some stage performances."
"Double duty, don't overwork yourself," Luna said.
"I can say the same about you," Luan said. "Try not to stay up too late, you need sleep."
"Don't we all?" Luna said. "Thank goodness it's Saturday."
"Man, what are big problems for them seem so minimal compared to me going out to stop villainy and trying to maintain my own scheduling conflicts," Lincoln thought to himself as he made his way to his sisters. "Hey Luna, Luan, can I get a cup too?"
"You want coffee?" Luna asked. "Trying to act like an adult again?"
"I'm just a bit tired myself," Lincoln said. "I've been busy with stuff."
"Schoolwork?" Luna asked.
"Yeah," Lincoln said. "Plus given my detention this past week, I had other things to catch up on in my personal life."
"I get you," Luna said, adjusting the machine. "I'll get you some coffee. But don't let mom or pops know, they might think you're too young."
"I'll be fine," Lincoln said.
"By the way, how have you been feeling since you and Emma broke up?" Luan asked. "You're not too beat up about it, are you?"
"I'm mostly over it," Lincoln said. "It's still weird seeing her in school sometimes, but my friends cheer me up."
"That's good, and remember, things happen, but you'll be fine," Luna said.
"You still got us if you need more moral support," Luan said.
"Appreciate it," Lincoln said. "Anyway I'm going to see some friends later, so it should be good."
"Speaking of friends, we heard that a certain someone became a superhero and teamed with Spider-Man," Luan said.
"Yeah, the new hero, Firestar," Luna said.
"Oh yeah, I heard about that," Lincoln said.
"Hope she does well, but Spider-Man's got her covered," Luna said. "So it should be good."
"Think she knows his secret identity?" Luan asked, this making Lincoln nervous.
"We can ask her later," Luna said. "But, even if she knows, I doubt she'd tell us. It's a secret identity for a reason."
"Yeah, but imagine knowing that, I would love to know who Spider-Man really is," Luan said. "What about you Lincoln?"
"Uh...that sounds cool in theory," Lincoln began. "But I don't think it's good to know."
"What makes you say that?" Luan asked.
"I mean, part of the fun with Spider-Man is the mystery behind it," Lincoln said. "If we know who he is, then it feels like some of that magic is gone."
"I get what you're saying," Luan said. "I still kind of want to know though."
"Same, but I can't see us finding out," Luna said. "Which is fine, as long as he's protecting us, he can do what he wants."
"Lincoln, just be sure that your friend will be okay," Luan said.
"Don't worry, I'll keep tabs on her, make sure she's not overwhelmed," Lincoln said.
"Good on you, little bro," Luna said, rubbing his head. "Oh, just so you know, Lori's coming home today."
"She is?" Lincoln asked. "She hasn't been home in a couple of weeks."
"Yeah, she and Bobby have been pretty busy, especially with the aftermath of The Lizard," Luna said.
"Wish I knew, I could have seen if she wanted to bring Ronnie Anne," Lincoln said. "Sid too."
"Maybe next time," Luna said.
"Oh, but um, since Lori's gonna be here, she may find out about you breaking up with Emma," Luan said. "And you know what she might try to do."
Lincoln groaned in worry, "Right, maybe it's better if Ronnie Anne doesn't come, otherwise Lori would try to push us into a date."
"I mean, even if she does come, it's up to the two of you if you want to date," Luna said. "Don't let Lori dictate your love life."
"Yeah, I won't, "Lincoln said. "By the way, how soon is too soon to try dating again? Part of me wants to put myself out there but I'm not too sure about it."
"Well, everyone's different," Luna said. "Just go with your gut, and don't date just because you feel lonely, but because you know you'll be happy with this girl."
"Do you have anyone in mind?" Luan asked.
"Not yet, but I don't want to discount any possibilities," Lincoln said.
"You know, I could always call Tabby," Luna said. "See if anything sparks there. Even if it doesn't, she's fun to hang around, so you should have fun even if it's not a date."
"I wouldn't mind seeing Tabby, if she's not busy," Lincoln said.
"Not to play matchmaker, but this past week, have you felt closer to any of the girls in your friend group?" Luan asked.
"No more than usual," Lincoln said.
"Just checking," Luan said, handing a cup over to the boy. "Here's your coffee."
"Thanks," Lincoln said. "I just need milk, and sugar. A lot of sugar."
"Don't forget to grab some biscuits before Lynn eats them all," Luna said.
"Of course," Lincoln said, grabbing the food.
"And remember Lincoln, you have time, don't worry about romance," Luan said.
"I'll keep that in mind," Lincoln said, taking his food and taking a seat next to Lana.
"Honestly, out of all of Lincoln's friends, I think that Jordan girl will be the first to make a move, given that she's an obvious flirt," Luna said.
"That has me worried, I hope she hasn't tried manipulating this situation to her advantage," Luan said.
"Well Lincoln's a smart boy, he'll be fine," Luna said.
"Yeah, I know," Luan said. "Truth be told, I kind of hope he and Stella hook up. She's really pretty, smart too. She's perfect."
"She's a good choice, though I'm personally pulling for Tabby," Luna said. "But I'm cool with whatever Lincoln decides, as long as it's his choice."
"And definitely not Lori's," Luan said.
A little bit later, Lincoln was fully dressed, ready to leave the house to go on his patrol ."Alright, I have my stuff, I just have to meet with Christina and..." He heard a knock on the door. "Is that Lori? No, she has a key, she probably wouldn't knock."
Lincoln opened the door, revealing Lola's friend Cricket, "Oh, hi Lincoln!"
"Hi Cricket, here to see Lola?" Lincoln asked.
"That I am," Cricket said.
"Where's Meli, is she here?" Lincoln asked.
"She couldn't make it, she's not feeling too well," Cricket said. "Lola and are gonna bake her some treats and take them to her house later."
"That's really nice of you," Lincoln said.
"It's no big deal, I like helping friends," Cricket said.
"Well, I think it's great that you care so much about Meli," Lincoln said. "I know Lola does too, you girls mean a lot to her."
"Of course, she means a lot to us after all. You have such a great sister," Lincoln said.
"Thanks to you," Lincoln said. "It seems like you and Meli have been a positive influence on Lola. I really appreciate you two setting an example for her."
"We can't take all the credit, I mean you have great sisters as well," Cricket said. "Lori taught Lola to take charge, Lynn taught her how to be competitive, Luna taught her how to get a crowd going, and you've been positive in her life too."
"What could I have done?" Lincoln asked.
"Do you really not know or are you fishing for a compliment?" Cricket asked, smirking at the boy.
"I'm really not, I just need an outside perspective," Lincoln said.
"Well, I suppose I could tell you," Cricket said. "She admires your determination, she says you're the type of person to never let anyone tell you that you can't do something. Also that you're really great at planning things out, even though those plans go south sometimes."
"Even when they do, I am great at creating backup plans," Lincoln boasted.
"Wow, you're confident," Cricket said. "Another reason Lola admires you."
"Funny, I figured she'd find that annoying," Lincoln said.
"Well she does, a little," Cricket admitted. "But she still finds it admirable."
"Still, I appreciate this," Lincoln said. "And I still believe you're a big deal why Lola's gotten so much kinder over the years."
"Let's call it a group effort then," Cricket said, making her way inside. "Also, I heard you and your girlfriend split up."
"Yeah...it wasn't pleasant," Lincoln said.
"Well if it makes you feel better, I know a single girl that's perfect for you," Cricket said.
"Who would that be?" Lincoln asked.
Cricket leaned in, flashing her eyes at the boy, "You're looking at her."
Lincoln nervously chuckled, feeling flattered but awkward, "You're a cute girl Cricket, but I need someone a little older."
"Fine, I can play the waiting game," Cricket said, making her leave. "I'll see you around, Linky."
Lincoln awkwardly stepped out the, turning around to find another oncoming visitor.
"Hello Lincoln," this was of course his oldest sister, Lori.
"Oh, Lori, you're here," Lincoln said. "When did you get here?"
"Not long ago, I didn't want to interrupt your little chat with Cricket," Lori said.
"Oh um, how much of that did you hear?" Lincoln asked.
"Just enough," Lori said, making her way inside. "Come along Adelaide."
"Adelaide?" Lincoln asked, then found himself being hugged by the girl.
"Hi Lincoln, Lori brought me over for the weekend," Adelaide said.
"Oh, that's nice," Lincoln said. "Did she bring Sid or Ronnie Anne?"
"They couldn't come, they had plans to hang out with their friends," Adelaide said. "Lori wasn't too happy but it's fine, I get to hang out with Lana, and see you too."
"Well I'm happy to see you Adelaide," Lincoln returned the hug. "I haven't seen you since that fight with The Lizard." Lincoln's eyes widened in worry. "I mean...since the Lizard came over, or rather before the Lizard came to Great Lakes. Eh sorry, I got a little tongue tied."
"Does it worry you that I was in danger?" Adelaide asked.
"Well yeah, I don't want you to get hurt," Lincoln said.
"You're sweet, but I'm fine, that Lizard didn't hurt me," Adelaide said. "Also he got cured, so he's nice now. Of course he got in trouble for what he did before but he's working to make up for it. He feels terrible that he hurt people, including my sister. But Sid forgave him, mostly."
"Mostly?" Lincoln asked.
"She's still a little peeved about it but she doesn't hate Doctor Connors, just The Lizard," Adelaide said. "Oh, and Kraven too."
"Kraven..." Lincoln recalled the hunter, wondering if he should be worried about him too. "Well if you want to see Lana, I think she's in her room. She'll be happy to have you over, make her feel like less of a third wheel around Lola and Cricket."
"Okay," Adelaide said, releasing the hug. "See you later, Linky."
"Bye Adelaide," Lincoln said, making his exit. "Cute kid, very affectionate."
In the backyard while Luna strummed her guitar, Lynn was practicing her soccer kicks and Lucy was writing poems under a tree.
"I'm back," Lori said, getting their attention.
"Oh hey Lori, when did you get here?" Luna asked.
"A few minutes ago," Lori said, making her way down the steps. "So, is this everyone?"
"Luan should be in our room working on her writing, both comedy and stage stuff," Luna said.
"Leni's at work," Lynn said, balancing the soccer ball on her heel. "Probably should swing by if you want to see her, I think she's either hanging out with friends or going on a date later."
"Lisa's working on some chemicals," Lucy said.
"Lily's taking a nap," Lynn added.
"The twins are in their room," Lucy said.
"And Lincoln's on his way out," Luna said.
"I spotted Lincoln just before he left, he was having a nice chat with Lola's friend Cricket," Lori said.
"Was she hitting on him?" Lynn joked, kicking the ball up into her arms.
"Yes, and it sounds like Lincoln's available," Lori said, this inciting some concern from the sisters.
"What are you getting at, Lori?" Luna asked.
"Hey come on now, what's with the suspicion?" Lori asked. "It's just an innocent and valid statement."
"Please, you're up to something," Lynn said. "You know Lincoln's single, and you already have plans to set him up with a certain someone's little sister, aren't you?"
"It's so obvious, doesn't take a keen eye to notice what you're scheming," Lucy said.
"Geez, is this any type of welcome to give to your oldest sister?" Lori said. "I'm actually kind of hurt."
"Uh-huh, sure. Leave the acting to Luan," Luna said. "I don't suppose Ronnie Anne's here, is she?"
"If you must know, I didn't bring Ronnie Anne, I brought Adelaide," Lori said. "She's here because she wanted to play with Lana and Lola."
"I bet she was meant to scout too, look for any weak links in the relationship between Lincoln and Emma," Lynn said.
"Hey if Adelaide wants to check on things on her own free will, that's her choice," Lori said. "Look, I don't know why you're acting so suspicious all of a sudden, but I am not planning anything malicious."
"You better not, Lincoln's still coping from the break-up, he doesn't need you trying to set him up with a girl he's probably not even interested in," Luna said.
"Not to mention she's like three hours away by car," Lynn said. "Meanwhile girls like Stella, Girl Jordan and Christina still live here in Royal Woods."
"Wait, I know Stella and I remember Girl Jordan, but who's Christina?" Lori asked.
"The red-haired girl from Lincoln's video that he posted about himself to make-up for embarrassing the rest of us," Luna said.
"You probably saw her at the Royal Woods Block Party," Lynn said. "Lincoln made her part of his friend group, same with Paige."
"You remember Paige too, don't you?" Luna asked. "The cute orange-haired girl that Lincoln thought gave him a love letter?"
"The one he sent a love letter in return to?" Lucy said.
"Lincoln's got plenty of options here, so don't get any funny ideas!" Lynn said.
"Geez you're all paranoid," Lori said. "Well if you got that all out of your system, I'm going to find a sister that does appreciate my company."
The eldest sister left in a huff, leaving the three remaining sisters to sulk in the situation.
"Think we went a bit too far?" Luna asked. "We did kind of start assuming things without knowing her full intention."
"It's Lori, the moment she brought up Lincoln being 'available', you knew where that was gonna end up," Lynn said. "Sometimes you gotta nip the problem in the bud before it becomes something bigger."
"I'm with Lynn on this one," Lucy said. "You heard Lori's tone, if we let her keep talking she would have mentioned Ronnie Annes sooner or later."
"Still, she did come all this way, we should have given her a friendlier welcome," Luna said.
"Well she shouldn't be trying to star with her usual Lori-ness," Lynn said. "She brought this on herself."
"Still, I should go and check on her, it's the right thing to do," Luna said, making her way inside.
Lynn turned her attention to Lucy, "She's way too soft-hearted."
"Well I understand where Luna is coming from, we did come across too presumptuous," Lucy said. "But Lori does bring it on herself. Maybe we should wait for her to say something next time, this way we have every reason to tell her off."
"Yeah, good point," Lynn said. "Well, this will pass. Imagine Lincoln comes home, and he's got a new girlfriend, that will really stick it to Lori."
"Far be it from me to try matchmaking again, but have you considered calling your friend Polly?" Lucy asked.
"Nah, Polly might be too much for him," Lynn said. "Plus, she's not interested in dating right now. She tried dating Rusty, and it totally sucked. What about your friend, Haiku?"
"She's not interested in Lincoln," Lucy said.
"Wait, seriously?" Lynn asked.
"Yeah, I know it's weird, how could any girl pass up Lincoln? But then again Haiku isn't like most girls," Lucy said. "What about your friend, Margo?"
"...That might not be a bad idea, Margo's a really cool girl, she'd be great for Lincoln. Helps that she's a bit older, Lincoln could benefit from having a girlfriend that's slightly older than him," Lynn said. "But she might find it weird dating her best friend's brother, I mean, isn't there a code against something like that?"
"I see where you're coming from, but it's worth a try," Lucy said. "At least ask her, then we'll see if Lincoln's alright with it."
"Alright, I'll call her up," Lynn said.
While upstairs, Luan was seen coming out of the bathroom, the girl looking relieved as she was seen looking at a little stick.
"Glad I don't have to worry about this yet," Luan said. As she was on her way to her room, she spotted her eldest sister. "Lori!?"
"Oh Luan, how are you doing?" Lori asked.
"Just fine," Luan said, placing the item behind her back.
"Uh, what do you have there?" Lori asked.
"Oh nothing..." Luan said, hoping that would be enough.
"Then why are you hiding it?" Lori asked. "Is this some type of prank?"
"It's just...some weird little goofy thing, nothing worth giving attention over," Luan insisted.
"You're literally being suspicious right now," Lori said. "Show me what's behind your back."
"Or, how about we catch an episode of The Dream Boat!" Luan said. "I hear the last one was REALLY amazing! We should totally watch it, just let me get rid of something of minor importance."
"Luan, hand it over," Lori said.
"Uh...look! Shoes!" Luan said, hoping Lori would be distracted. "Brand new ones!"
"Give me the dang thing, Luan!" Lori said, trying to wrestle the item from Luan's grip.
As this was happening, the twins left their room with Adelaide and Cricket, the latter two looking confused.
"What's going on?" Cricket asked.
"This happens a lot in our house, just ignore it," Lola said, leading her friends downstairs while they passed by Luna. "Hey Luna, if you're going to the bathroom, watch out for Lori and Luan, they're fighting about something."
"Seriously? Alright," Luna said, making her way up. As she got to the top, she saw the two fighting about something. "Hey, what's going on!?"
"Luan's hiding something!" Lori shouted.
"Am not!" Luan said, dropping the item. "Oh no!" She went to grab it, but Lori tried pulling her away.
"Stop being so stubborn!" Lori shouted, trying to restrain Luan.
Luna walked over and picked it up, her eyes widening in worry. "No way..."
"Luna! Put that down!" Luan urged.
"Luna, hand it over!" Lori demanded.
"Ignore her! Just pay no mind to it! It's not important anyway!" Luan said.
"Not important!?" Luna held the item up. "Luan, this is a pregnancy test!"
"A WHAT!?" Lori shouted, snatching the item out of Luna's hand, much to her annoyance. "Luan, did you..."
"Look before anything, it came back negative, so I'm not pregnant," Luan said.
"You took a pregnancy test...that means...you had sex, didn't you!?" Lori shouted.
"Well...yeah," Luan shyly admitted. "It's no big deal, right?"
"You're literally sixteen, that IS a big deal!" Lori said.
"Hey I'm basically a grown woman, I can have sex if I want to," Luan said.
"Luan, you told me you and Benny used protection," Luna said.
"You knew about this!?" Lori asked.
"Yeah...it's kind of my fault," Luna said. "Luan got the idea because she saw me and Sam...you know..."
"...Luna, did you have sex too?" Lori asked.
"Uh-huh..." Luna admitted. "But Sam's a girl, she can't get me pregnant. Plus, I am seventeen, weren't you around this age when you had your first time with Bobby?"
"I was older," Lori said. "And don't turn this around on me, you two should not have been-"
Suddenly there was a knock on the door, Sam's voice calling out, "Hey Luna! It's me, Sam! Sorry I didn't text or call, but I got something important to tell you!"
"Hey Luan! I'm here too!" Benny said.
Lori sinisterly turned to the door, angrily marching down the stairs.
"Wait, what is she doing!?" Luan asked.
Lori pulled the door open, glaring at the pair of teens.
"Oh, hey Lori, didn't know you came home," Benny said. "Is Luan or-"
Lori held the pregnancy test in front of his eyes, the sight of the stick mixed with Lori's anger made the boy feel apprehensive.
"Uh...Lori...I know what you're probably thinking..." Benny said.
"It looks negative, so that's a good thing, right?" Sam said, hoping to help her friend out.
"You two literally have a lot to answer for," Lori said, tossing the stick aside and cracking her knuckles.
"Benny! Sam! Run!" Luan called.
Within seconds, Lori was chasing the two down the street, "I'm gonna turn both of you into human pretzels!"
"Can she really do that!?" Benny asked in worry.
"Don't ask, just run!" Sam shouted, as she picked up the pace.
"You're just delaying the inevitable!" Lori shouted, still chasing after the two.
"Dammit Lori! Do not beat up my girlfriend!" Luna shouted, chasing after her sister.
"Or my boyfriend!" Luan said, following Luna.
"Hey, about your pregnancy test," Luna said.
"Look, sorry we didn't use protection, it was dumb, but it was one time only, Benny went to the store later and we're going to play it safe until we get married," Luan said. "Just help me stop Lori from pulverizing our lovers."
"Sure, but I'm still giving Benny a good talking to," Luna said. "Now let's hustle!"
Meanwhile in the kitchen, Lola, Lana, Cricket and Adelaide were working together on the treats for Meli, specifically cupcakes with grey frosting.
"Why does Meli like gray again?" Adelaide asked, placing the ingredients on the table.
"She just does," Lola said, setting the trays. "I think she looks cuter with brighter colors, but if she wants grey, she gets grey."
"It's all about making her happy," Cricket said, grabbing the frosting.
"Everyone has their own preference," Lana said, holding the sprinkles. "Too bad there's no gray sprinkles."
"That's fine, a little color brings out the gray," Lola said. "Alright, someone preheat the oven."
"Are your parents really fine with you using the oven?" Cricket asked.
"It's fine, as long as one of our sisters is nearby," Lola said, pressing the buttons. "It's more the stove they get worried about."
"Let's try to make enough, no doubt our sisters are gonna smell the cupcakes," Lana said. "It's easier giving them a treat rather than trying to hide them."
"Oh yeah, nothing stops our sisters," Lola said. "Even Linky might be tempted."
"Speaking of your cute, older brother," Adelaide said, Lola raising her eyebrow on how forward that was. "I hear he's single, does this mean-"
"Pump the breaks there," Cricket said. "I called him first."
"Hey, I met him before you did," Adelaide said. "And I'm the little sister of one of his best friends."
"Isn't Ronnie Anne his best friend?" Lola asked.
"Wait, I thought Clyde was?" Lana asked.
"Well Sid's close to Lincoln and she calls him her best friend from Royal Woods, so it counts," Adelaide said.
"If you want to go that route, I'm the best friend of his little sister," Cricket said.
"You're only half a best friend," Adelaide said. "The other half is Meli."
"Well Sid is just one of many best friends for Lincoln," Cricket said.
"And I'm best friends with Lana too," Adelaide said. "Making me even closer to Lincoln."
"Lana's my friend too," Cricket said.
Adelaide furrowed her brow, "Oh if that's how you want to play, then Lola's my friend, so that gives me more access to Lincoln."
Cricket furrowed her brow right back, "Well Lola and I are pageant girls, and Lincoln gives her tips that she's passed onto me, so that means-"
"Alright, enough!" Lola shouted, getting their attention. "Look, you're both nice girls and either one of you would be perfect for Linky. But, he's not interested in dating right now, and even if he was, you girls might not be in the front of the line."
"Yeah, sorry to say but he's got other girls too," Lana said. "Especially Stella."
"Oh right, Stella," Adelaide said. "I should be mad, but she's a nice girl. Sid likes her a lot."
"What does Ronnie Anne think of her?" Lola asked.
"Uh, Lola, what are you doing?" Lana asked.
"Just an innocent question," Lola insisted. "Well Adelaide, what does Ronnie Anne think?"
"She seems cool with her, she hasn't said anything bad," Adelaide said.
"What about her cousins?" Lola asked.
"Well Carl has a crush on her, because of course he does," Adelaide said. "CJ seems fine with her, as does Carlitos, and Carlota says she's a nice and pretty girl. But she also says she's Ronnie Anne's love rival."
"I knew it," Lola said. "Tell me this, is Lori planning anything?"
"Not that I know of," Adelaide said. "I didn't talk much about Lincoln on the ride over, I just minded my own business. Lori's friendly but she's not always talkative, unless it's about Bobby, Ronnie Anne or one of her siblings."
"Alright, well make sure she's not trying anything stupid," Lola said. "Lori was supposed to be over this whole Ronnie Anne thing but that girl does not let go of a grudge."
"Does anyone in our family do that?" Lana pointed out.
"I see your point," Lola said. "Look, it's not like I dislike Ronnie Anne. I know my first impression of her was a bully since she punched Linky in the eye, and made all of us look bad in the process because we were convinced that she had a crush on him, but I've changed my perception over the years. I just don't think it's worth it for Lincoln to be in a relationship with a girl who's not even in the same town."
"Well, I don't know if I can agree with that," Adelaide said. "Lori and Bobby made it work."
"That's because Lori just had to wait until they were in college, and now she's staying at his apartment," Lola said. "Lincoln's still years away from graduation."
"Plus I heard that he actually wants to go to college in New York," Lana said.
"New York? Why so far?" Cricket asked.
"I think there's a prestigious college there," Lana said. "Lincoln's a smart kid, a straight A student. He probably won't have trouble getting accepted."
"They might even give him a Scholarship," Lola said.
"Honestly though, he probably just wants to see The Avengers up close," Lana said. "I don't blame him, it'd be cool living in the same city as Iron Man. What I wouldn't give to work on that suit of armor."
"I'd settle with seeing Thor up close," Lola said, the girl blushing at the thought of the Thunder God. "Those muscles really make me swoon."
"Speaking of superheroes, I hope I get to see Spider-Man while I'm here," Adelaide said. "He's so cool, I owe him a lot for saving my sister."
"Lana told me he was at Ronnie Anne's apartment," Lola said. "Did you get a chance to see him under his mask?"
"I didn't," Adelaide said. "I mean I don't expect him to show me, it is a secret identity after all."
"What was he like in person?" Lola asked.
"Very friendly, he kept everyone calm and even comforted me when my animals died," Adelaide said.
"Oh yeah, I remember hearing about that," Lana said, the girl feeling bitter. "Sorry you went through that, and that I wasn't there to comfort you."
"You have nothing to be sorry about," Adelaide said, walking over to hug Lana. "I'm here now though, I don't mind some late comforting."
"Yeah, sure," Lana said, returning the hug.
"Aw, that's cute, I want a part of this," Cricket said, hugging both girls.
"Eh, I'll join too," Lola said, wrapping everyone in a group hug.
Outside Lincoln was on his way over to meet Christina deep in the city. While walking, he texted Christina.
"I'm ready for patrol."
Seconds later, he got a text from the girl. "Me too, I'm waiting at Tall Timbers Park."
"Great initiative. I'll see you there."
After sending the last text, he decided to call Stella.
While at her house working on reassembling an appliance she took apart to study, she saw her phone ringing. "Yeah?"
"Hey Stella, I'm on my way to meet Christina at Tall Timbers Park," Lincoln said. "We're gonna be on patrol."
"Alright, I'll check the police scanners and keep you updated if there's a crime nearby, or if there's any sign of Vic," Stella said.
"I'd appreciate that," Lincoln said.
"Hey if Christina is going to be joining us, should I keep her in the loop about things too?" Stella asked.
"Sure, she's our friend after all, and we are a team," Lincoln said. "We're the superheroes, you're the Girl in the Chair."
"That's a unique way to put it, but it works for me," Stella said. "Good luck out there."
Lincoln ran into a nearby phonebooth to switch into his Spider-Man outfit and then swung away.
At Tall Timbers Park, a dressed up Christina was seen waiting for her friend. She radiated herself to give off more light in hopes of him noticing. It wasn't long before she spotted him. "There you are."
"Sorry, you said the park but didn't say where," Lincoln said.
"Yeah, sorry I wasn't more specific," Christina said. "That's why I used the light."
"Clever," Lincoln said. "So, ready for patrol?"
"Sure, let's get to it," Christina said, the two leaping to a nearby rooftop.
Meanwhile down below, Girl Jordan was seen with a shopping back, looking for a nearby shoe store. "Maybe I should have gone to the mall, but some of the stores there are too pricy, even for me." She continued searching the area, "There should be some discounts somewhere."
"Hey you!" Came the voice of Anderson, getting Jordan's attention as he stepped over with his two friends. "I know you, one of Lincoln Loud's friends."
"What's it to you?" Girl Jordan asked.
"Your punk friend has been avoiding me since that lucky shot he got on my the other day," Anderson said.
"Yeah, when he beat the crap out of you," Girl Jordan said.
"Wow, she's got a mouth on her, doesn't she Anderson?" Taylor said.
"Teach her a lesson," Pablo said.
"Yeah, sure," Anderson said, lifting Girl Jordan off the ground.
"Hey put my down you blockhead!" Jordan shouted.
"Sure, I'll put you down, into the nearest garbage can!" Anderson taunted.
"Ahem!" Came Lincoln's voice, the boy landing on a nearby mailbox with Christina floating beside him. "Put her down."
"No way, it's Spider-Man!" Pablo said.
"You, tall guy, listen to my friend here," Christina said. "Put the girl down."
"What? I wasn't doing anything bad," Anderson insisted. "I was just giving this girl a lift."
"Let me go!" Girl Jordan grabbed his arm and bit hard, causing the guy to help in pain. She immediately ran to the side of Lincoln and Christina.
"Why you..." Anderson glared at the girl. "Spider-Man won't always be around to save you!"
"Was that a threat?" Christina asked.
"Hey, you can't prove anything, none of us did anything illegal so you can't hound us either," Anderson said.
"Bullying this girl could be seen as a violation of the rules," Lincoln said. "You three better come down to the police station, we'll let your parents know about your inappropriate behavior."
"There's no way we're doing what you said!" Anderson shouted.
Minutes later, the trio of bullies were left at the police station, Lincoln giving some orders to the cops. "Make sure their parents know about what they've been doing."
"Sure thing Spider-Man.
Once outside, Lincoln turned his attention to Girl Jordan, "You feeling alright?"
"Yeah, thanks to you," Girl Jordan said, blushing a bit. "I appreciate you coming to my rescue. Little surprised since it wasn't some villain."
"My job as a superhero is to help anyone who needs it," Lincoln said. "From saving hostages from power-hungry villains to rescuing a cat out of a tree."
"Well still, I appreciate it, thanks for saving us Spider-Man," Girl Jordan said, bashfully kicking her feet. She looked up at Christina, feeling a bit awkward now, "And thank you too, um..."
"Firestar." Christina said.
"Right, Firestar," Girl Jordan said. "Glad you're here too, it's nice seeing more superheroes in Royal Woods. Even nicer to have some girls out there fighting crime."
"While I'm not in this just for the sake of Girl Power, I do appreciate potentially being an influence regardless," Christina said. "Not to say girls can't be influenced by Spider-Man too, I was after all. I'd be just as happy if I influenced a boy to becoming a hero."
"Anyone of either gender can be a hero, doing the right thing is what matters," Lincoln said. "This of course extends to culture as well. Whether you're American, Canadian, Mexican, Japanese, you have the potential to be a hero."
Girl Jordan began chuckling a little, "Wow, you two are really hamming up the hero thing."
"Oh, are we being corny?" Christina asked. "We're trying not to be but we were kind of influenced by comic books and Saturday Morning cartoons."
"Yeah, me especially," Lincoln admitted.
"Hey it's fine, it just reminds me of those videos that Captain America makes for schools," Girl Jordan said. "They're super corny, but it's still wholesome. Plus it doesn't change the fact that Cap is a great hero, just like the two of you."
"Thanks...do you need us to walk you home?" Christina asked.
"I don't want to be a bother," Girl Jordan said.
"It won't be," Lincoln said. "Climb onto my back, we can get you there ASAP."
"...Alright, sure," Girl Jordan said, climbing on Lincoln. "He feels so muscular."
"Ready?" Lincoln asked.
"Yeah...my house is East from here, I'll help navigate," Girl Jordan said.
"Let's go," Christina said, flying into the distance with Lincoln swinging behind her.
Girl Jordan felt an exhilarating rush as Lincoln swing through the city and leapt across the rooftops. This was such a thrilling experience for the girl and she loved it.
"This is so cool!" Girl Jordan said. "It's so much better than a roller coaster!"
"This isn't too fast for you?" Lincoln asked.
"No way, this is awesome!" Girl Jordan said, extending her arms out.
"Hey! Don't let go, you might-" Unfortunately Girl Jordan lost her grip and nearly fell, but Christina was quick to keep her on Lincoln's back.
"Thanks Firestar," Girl Jordan said.
"No problem, just be careful," Christina said.
"I will," Girl Jordan insisted as she and Lincoln continued to swing.
Within minutes, they arrived in front of her house, Girl Jordan hopping off Lincoln's back, feeling jelly legged afterwards.
"You alright there?" Lincoln asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine," Girl Jordan said. "Wow that was fun!"
"Glad you liked it," Lincoln said, just as Christina got a call.
"I'll be right back, Spider-Man," Christina said, putting some distance and taking the call. "Hey Stella, need something?"
While Christina spoke, Girl Jordan focused her attention on the hero before her, "You've done a lot for me Spider-Man. Keeping me safe when The Shocker showed up, rescuing me from The Vulture, and even today. I really appreciate you looking out for me."
"It's nothing, just try to stay out of danger," Lincoln said.
"I will," Girl Jordan insisted. "It's so weird how familiar I feel with you. I mean, I know who you are but I feel like I've known you long than I have, like I've been around you for years."
"I've gotten that before..." Lincoln said.
"Same with your sidekick, she's really nice and just feels familiar," Girl Jordan said. "Is she...you know...are you two dating?"
Lincoln shook his head, "I've been asked that before, but no, we're not dating. She's a girl who wanted to use her powers for good, I'm just helping her with that."
"So, you're single then?" Girl Jordan asked.
"Yeah, why?" Lincoln asked.
Without another word, Girl Jordan lifted his mask over his mouth to give a kiss to the disguised Lincoln. The boy could not believe what was happening, he was sharing a kiss with not only his classmate that he's known for years, but also one of his closest friends, and she didn't even know it was him.
Girl Jordan held the kiss for a bit longer before pulling away, "That's my thanks to you, Spider-Man."
Bashfully Lincoln pulled his mask down, feeling really strange at the moment. "Thanks..."
"...There's more where that came from you know," Girl Jordan admitted.
"I appreciate it but..." Lincoln thought about telling her, but he knew that would be a bad idea to just give away something so big for many different reasons. "Look, I recently had some relationship issues, and I'm not ready to have a girlfriend. Plus if I dated you, then it would probably put you in more danger. I can't take that risk.
"...Yeah, I get it," Girl Jordan said, feeling a bit heartbroken. "Still, I don't regret kissing you. I just hope I can find a guy as great as you one day, but I just can't see that happening."
"You will, just find someone who loves you for who you are," Lincoln said. "You're young, you have time."
"Yeah, I know," Girl Jordan said, heading inside her house. "See you later, Spider-Man."
"Bye..." Lincoln said as she left. The boy thought over the kiss, and truthfully, he didn't hate it. But he was still unsure about pursuing a relationship with Girl Jordan.
Lincoln turned around to and came face to face with Christina, the girl looking amazed.
"Did you...and Jordan?"
Lincoln was glad his mask covered his blush, "Oh, you saw that, didn't you? Yeah, she kissed me."
"I can't believe you kissed Jordan, she doesn't even know it's you," Christina said.
"I know, honestly I wasn't expecting it, I mean I figured she liked me, or rather, she liked Spider-Man, but this still took me by surprise," Lincoln said.
"Well, what do you plan to do now?" Christina asked.
"Nothing, I told her I wasn't ready to date, and I would rather not date a girl without her knowing who I am," Lincoln said.
"Well, what's Lincoln Loud going to do regarding Girl Jordan?" Christina asked.
"I am not sure," Lincoln said. "I'm just not ready to date yet. Still, now I have Jordan on my mind, and I don't know what to do."
"I guess I can't blame you, and all I can do is trust your judgement," Christina said. "We'll talk about this later, Stella called and said there's some trouble downtown."
"Is it Vic?" Lincoln asked.
"Might not be, it could be random crooks, but keep your guard up," Christina said.
"Yeah, alright," Lincoln said. "Let's go then."
Both Lincoln and Christina went to work, ready to resume their heroic duties and keep Royal Woods safe once more.
