Chapter 122 - Izumi Miyamura: Xover - Chapter 120

Author's Notes: Chapter edited and corrected by Scott Fellman.

"No, no, no, we've been by this place before! I told you to turn left when we had the chance! "

"Once again, it can't be! This corner is very different from the previous corner! "

"It's a very nice corner."

"Izumi, shut up."

"Now, now, for the first time in my life, we're lost and it's not my fault. Let me enjoy it."

"For the love of- if you're not going to give any ideas, shut your mouth!"

"Rude. I say we go that way."

"Izumi-"

"Yeah?"

"It's a damn ladder."

"Wow, a ladder? Thanks for pointing that out, I thought it was some kind of security system too advanced for me to understand!"

"Don't be condescending to me!"

"You, Don't be condescending to me!"

"Maybe I wouldn't if you didn't point out a damn staircase that only goes down! You know! It's going down! When we have to go up! "

"Well, you know what they say, once you're at the lowest point of all, the only thing you can do is go up."

"Keep your nuggets of wisdom in the-"

"Jinx!"

"He started it!"

"For the love of- does nobody have a damn map?!"

"I do." Jinx, Ruby, and I stopped stiffly as we turned to look at Penny, a scroll in her hand as she stared at us innocently. Jinx took a deep breath and pinched the bridge of her nose.

"Do you have… a map of the tower?" Jinx asked through gritted teeth. Penny nodded while smiling.

"Yes, I have it." Penny said proudly.

"How long have you had that map?" Jinx asked through gritted teeth.

"I mean, since forever? Dad made sure I had a map of all the important places on I-island when we lived here so I wouldn't get lost." Penny said, confused. I could see Jinx and Ruby's eyes twitching slightly. In fact, mine was twitching too.

"Penny, darling, why didn't you mention this 10 minutes ago?" Ruby asked with a tight smile. Penny tilted her head.

"I thought you knew where we were going," Penny said, as if it were obvious and an innocent expression. The three of us groaned in annoyance.

"Give me that map." Jinx growled as she snatched the scroll from Penny, quickly manipulating it to reveal a complete map of the central tower. "We're finally going somewhere." Despite the frustration, this was actually fun.

"Aha, here, we can go back the way we came, turn LEFT, and go up here." Ruby pointed out petulantly. Jinx just growled at her, but didn't reply, just glared at Ruby.

"I still say my idea of going around the outside and flying to the top is easier," I replied playfully.

"And miss all the fun? No thanks." Jinx grunted as she saved the scroll. "All right, let's go!" Jinx turned around and started running.

"Oh, no fair, wait for us!" Ruby shouted as she started running, and we all chased to keep up with her immediately.

Once we reached the service stairs, it was really easy to start climbing. The only problem was that the damn tower had too many floors. We were on the 70th floor when something triggered the security system.

"What the fuck." Jinx growled as the passage to the upper floors was blocked. I frowned.

"Midoriya and the others must be 10 floors above us; it seems they found them," I said immediately.

"Are you okay?" Ruby asked worriedly.

"They should be, even so, let's hurry." I said immediately.

"If you can find a way out of this," Jinx growled as she pounded on the thick metal door blocking our way. I snorted.

"Metal? That's no challenge." I snorted, almost bored, and drew Wado Ichimonji. The door should have been at least 20 centimeters thick, but Wado Ichimonji sliced through it with extreme ease. I cut a triangle in the door, just large enough for us to squeeze through before kicking the severed section.

The solid metal triangle shot backward, opening a path for us to pass through. Without hesitation, we all began to rush through the door. On our way, I had to cut through more doors, but like the first one, they barely put up any significant resistance.

"Oh? There are two people fighting villains on the 80th floor." I said when we reached the 75th floor.

"Come on! They might need help! " Ruby said anxiously, I nodded as she continued opening doors. Once we reached the 80th floor, we saw one of the doors open, in fact, shattered as if someone had forcefully detonated something.

""""Bakugou."""" We all said at the same time before huffing. We decided to follow the path of destruction Bakugou left. Although we barely entered the hallway, we were greeted by more metal doors covering our path. I groaned. We didn't have time for this.

Instead of cutting through the door, I decided to cut through the wall that faced the interior of the 80th floor. I made a much larger triangle and, without hesitation, kicked it hard. The large piece of metal flew into the room.

We quickly looked around. Todoroki and Bakugou were the ones present, both wearing reception dresses. The villains were already incapacitated. And the drones were surrounding both girls. Or, well, that was until the piece of metal fell on them and destroyed most of them.

Todoroki and Bakugou looked at us in disbelief.

"Bastards! What are you doing here?! Izuku said to stay where you are!" Bakugou shouted from the other side.

"As if we'd listen to you, idiot!" Jinx yelled back.

"As fun as it is to watch you two fight, we don't have time for this. We need to go up and help Midoriya and the others." I pointed out. Bakugou grimaced before clicking his tongue. "Let's go." I told the others, grabbing Jinx by the waist.

"Wait, what are you-" I interrupted Jinx as I jumped hard onto the bridge where Bakugou and Todoroki were. Jinx let out a fit of laughter. Once I landed, I let her go. Immediately, Ruby fell with a storm of petals, and Penny landed with her rockets.

"Okay, how do we get there?" I asked once we met up with the girls.

"Midoriya and the rest climbed up there," Todoroki said, pointing to a corner of the roof. There was a service entrance with a ladder leading down. How did they manage to activate it without Mineta?

Todoroki waved her hand, and a massive ice bridge formed from where we were standing to the service entrance almost seamlessly. No one said anything; we just started running once more.

Our trip to the 130th floor was relatively easy. There were a few drones and security gates, but nothing we couldn't easily get past. There were also large numbers of destroyed drones along the way, so it was easy to follow the path Midoriya and the others took.

"We're close to them," I said immediately, looking up. "Two of them stayed behind to confront something. I don't sense any other auras. They must be drones, but they're losing their aura rapidly." I said almost urgently.

"Come on, fuck!" Bakugou growled as she increased her speed. Once we reached the server room on the 138th floor, we saw the scene that awaited us. Since there were people who weren't there as in canon, there weren't enough people to spread out properly to stop the traps and drones that were around the place.

Yaoyorozu and Jirou were the only ones holding off dozens of almost completely exhausted drones. They were pretty battered, but they kept going. Jiro had a pair of daggers in her hands, while Yaoyorozu had a staff. I could see a cannon they used earlier, but they seemed outnumbered and were forced to defend themselves in hand-to-hand combat.

"Die!!!" Bakugou shouted as she launched herself towards the drones with an explosion.

"Don't steal all the fun!" Jinx growled as she activated her quirk, a trail of neon pink appearing in her eyes as she ran towards the drones.

"Girls!" Yaoyorozu and Jirou sighed in relief as they collapsed exhausted entirely.

"Are you okay!?" Ruby asked as we approached them both.

"Yeah, just tired. I knew Bakugou and Todoroki would catch up; we just had to hang on. Your presence is a surprise, but a very welcome one," Yaoyorozu said with a small smile.

"I guess Midoriya, Uraraka, and Shield went on ahead, right? " I asked while searching for their auras; they were still moving forward and up, just as expected.

"Yes, the sooner we can get us to take over the security system, the sooner All Might can handle everything," Yaoyorozu said firmly.

"Alright, looks like they're finishing up, let's keep moving." I said easily, nodding towards Bakugou and Jinx, who were finishing off all the drones.

" Ugh, even if we wanted to, we don't have the strength, stupid resistant drones, we use too much aura, we would be a burden, besides, with you alone as reinforcement will be enough." Jirou complained while wiping her sweat. I snorted amusedly.

"Yes, you're sure." I said playfully. "Still, good work, both of you." I smiled at both of them. They both blushed slightly as they looked away.

"I-it's nothing, we were just doing our job." Jirou said as she clumsily played with the plug in her earlobe. I laughed lightly.

"Stop flirting, Izumi. We have to beat Midoriya!" Ruby urged. I snorted. It was more important to get to the top first than my so-called 'flirting,' which wasn't, with two other girls. I didn't know if Ruby didn't care, or if she just had her priorities wrong.

"Okay, let's go. Rest, although it's best if you find a safer place. More of those drones might come," I told the two girls. They both nodded seriously.

"Stop talking to those extras already!" Bakugou growled. I snorted.

"You could have left at any time. How nice of you to wait for us." I mocked Bakugou, and she blushed slightly.

"Shut the fuck up," Bakugou growled before turning around and running off. I laughed lightly before we fell in line. How many floors did this damn tower have?

Once we reached the wind power generating system on the outside of the tower, Uraraka was about to be assaulted by dozens of drones. How many of those things are in the damn tower?

The five of us rushed over and started destroying the robots.

"Guys!" Uraraka sighed in relief.

"Uraraka." Todoroki said as she approached her.

" Deku is heading upstairs with Melissa! We have to hold on! " Uraraka said firmly as she looked at the pair in the air. " Deku! Melissa!" Uraraka said in a panic. We all turned to look at them. She was being carried away by the wind.

"Bakugou, have the propeller point at Midoriya!" Todoroki said immediately.

"Tch, if this fails, I'll kill you!" Bakugou growled, though I heard a hint of concern in her voice. Still, she did as Todoroki ordered. Meanwhile, the four of us continued destroying the security drones.

Just like in canon, Midoriya and Melissa were pushed to the right place as Midoriya made a hole in one of the walls. He was inside the tower.

"All right, let's finish cleaning this up and join Midoriya. Something feels off about everything up there." I grimaced. Now that I was focusing more on the villains at the top, something felt off, very off.

Wolfram wasn't there yet, but David Shield and, I believe, his assistant were present, along with a third person. Someone I definitely don't know, but his aura was malicious.

"You don't have to tell me twice!" Bakugou growled as she joined in destroying the robots.

It took us a few minutes to finish off all the robots, not because it was difficult, but because there were so many. Even with the seven of us, it took us long enough that Midoriya and Melissa managed to get to the top floor, where all the confiscated experiments were stored.

"All right, let's go!" I said as I grabbed Jinx by the waist once again.

"You guys go ahead! I need a few minutes to recover." Uraraka said while holding back a gag from overusing her quirk.

"Don't move, Icy Hot bastard!" Bakugou growled as she grabbed Todoroki by her clothes and began to push the two of them towards the gap left by Midoriya.

I did the same, starting to jump and punch the air until I entered the gap. Ruby tried to reach it, but her Quirk had a limit to how vertical she could go. Luckily, Penny grabbed her and pulled her towards us.

Finally, we were inside, near the top floor.
