Izuku was woken out of his nap by Momo poking his shoulder.
"Whazgoingon?" he muttered groggily.
"We're talking about going shopping all together" she said excitedly "even Katsuki has agreed."
"Whoa, really?" Izuku rubbed his eyes "how'd that happen?"
"I need to buy some shit" Katsuki muttered.
"Oh, cool then" Izuku said as he stretched a bit "I was thinking of getting new wrist weights to practise holding my new move anyway"
"ALL RIGHT!"
Izuku winced as he heard Mina and the others yell, while Momo handed him a bottle of water.
"We came here as a group but everyone split up anyway…" Izuku muttered as him and Momo watched everyone disperse.
"I think it's nice that everyone split into groups" Momo smiled "we all get to do what we need to while also having company."
"Speaking of…" Izuku turned to look at her "You didn't really need to get anything did you? You come here to see how peasants shop?"
She blushed up a storm, and elbowed him when he started laughing.
"I just wanted to spend some time with yo-everyone." She said.
"Too bad you're stuck with just me though"
"I'm glad I am" she smiled before surprising him by hooking his arm with hers "come on Izuku, show me how a 'peasant' buys things then."
"…"
"You can't think of something to say back can you?" she said smugly.
"Don't rush me" Izuku protested as the two passed the fountain "At least let me think-"
[RIGHT SIDE]
He didn't hesitate, taking a step back (and dragging Momo back with him) and bringing up his hand to grab the arm of the man who had been about to pull Izuku into a hug.
"Wha-I just wanted a photo!" the man protested in a voice Izuku recognized almost instantly.
"it's considered manners to ask before pulling someone in like that. Though I suppose a villain wouldn't care for manners huh, Tomura Shigaraki?"
Momo didn't hesitate, rushing forward and creating handcuffs she used to tie him to the railing.
Shigaraki tried to wrench himself from Izuku, but was stopped by a Haki-enhanced headbutt.
"Call the police!" Izuku said loudly as he moved behind the dazed Shigaraki and held the arm behind his head "there's a villain here!"
The crowd moved away, multiple people pulling out phones (some to record, some to call the police as Izuku had instructed) while Momo briefed their classmates on the situation.
"Only you could turn a school outing into a villain attack" Katsuki sighed as he walked up to Izuku's side and put an arm around his shoulder. Behind them, his classmates made a perimeter, essentially preventing any civilian from getting too close and getting dusted.
"I'll kill you!" Shigaraki was still trying to escape "I'll kill all of you!"
Izuku tensed at the sudden burst of energy from the criminal, but was able to relax as the Pros finally arrived.
"Seriously, what a pain" Izuku yawned as he finally left the station.
As the chief witness as well as only person (other than Katsuki) with a Temp License, he had to actually fill out reports and stuff instead of just giving his testimony and moving on like his classmates had.
He smiled as he saw his mom waving at him in a full suit and tie though.
"Izuku" she said with a wry smile "I get that I should be used to this, but you need to start carrying something with you, even when you're off duty"
"I am the weapon" he said with a punch to the air, which she chuckled at before moving to open the car's doors.
"Come on. I'm sure you're tired, so we can grab something on the way"
Izuku nodded as he got into the car.
"Yeah. How was your day at work?" Izuku asked as she started driving through the streets.
"Normal" she shrugged "I dealt with some paperwork for some of my cases and showed the interns around. And then I got a call saying my son had captured a villain so I had to leave early."
"…that can't be too different from when dad did his thing can it?"
"No" she shook her head with a soft smile "I'd get calls like that all the time back when Hisashi was still in the officer phase. I'm telling you, those 3 years before your birth were some of the most stressful I had"
Izuku grinned. "You don't stress about me?"
"of course I do" she frowned "but you've just grown so strong…it's honestly hard for me to imagine you losing."
Izuku nodded before perking up and pointing out the window.
"Hey! A Mickey D's!"
She let out a chuckle before turning on the turn signal to go there.
"Takes down a villain and a few hours later all he wants is fast food" she sighed to herself with a fond smile "just like his father"
