Chapter 99 - Chapter 98: Heisei's Strongest Basic Form

The GataKiriBa combo was the golden trump card of Kamen Rider OOO. Capable of dividing into countless clones, it could also seamlessly transform into all of OOO's various combat forms.

Naturally, Another Den-O wasn't going to stand a chance against such an arsenal. At best, it could perhaps resist a dozen or two insect-based forms.

As for the other Riders? There was Gaim, wielding Watermelon Arms, and even Build's ultimate form—the Genius Form.

A rather awkward sight, truthfully. Among all these basic forms, Build's Genius Form stood out like a sore thumb.

Genius Form:Who am I? Where am I? What am I doing here?!

[Zi-O Saikyo Haou Giri!]

After all the Riders were summoned, Tsukuyomi floated midair while Sougo dashed forward, swinging his sword with ferocity. He cleaved the symbol of the Demon King above Den-O, finally releasing Another Den-O from its torment.

"Go!" Tsukuyomi shouted as she pointed her finger toward the enemy.

[Genius!]

[Suika Squash!]

[Scanning Charge!]

Build, Gaim, and OOO all launched their Rider Kicks in unison. Meanwhile, Another Den-O, clearly resigned to its fate, stood motionless. It feared that if it tried to dodge and survived, Sougo might revive it just to punish it again. Better to accept annihilation.

BOOM!

"I'm finally free!" Another Den-O shouted, oddly content as its body was consumed in flames.

"Yoshi!" With the threat neutralized, Sougo didn't even have time to release his transformation before a golden time gate suddenly formed behind him—pulling him through.

"You guys go back first. I'll return shortly!" Ryuga said, sending Ora back before opening another gate and stepping through.

Year 2068.

Sougo spun around, eyes locking with a familiar figure standing in front of a massive golden clock.

"The Demon King...!"

"Young me," said the elder Sougo—Ohma Zi-O—"You've now gathered the powers of all the Heisei Riders."

"Yet… you are still no match for me."

"We'll see about that!" Sougo replied confidently, wearing the Grand Zi-O Ridewatch.

This time… I feel like I've got him! Sougo thought to himself.

But feelings were just that—feelings. Wishful thinking. Delusions of grandeur.

"Then show me," the Old Demon King declared. He waved his hand and launched two explosive energy cards from Blade's power, detonating them at Sougo's sides.

Thank you, Kamen Rider Blade, for those glorious explosive effects.

"I'll end this once and for all!" Sougo roared, charging forward.

"Foolish," the old king scoffed, effortlessly parrying Sougo's blows. "You are me. Why haven't you understood that?"

"Save your preaching!"

[Drive!]

Sougo raised his leg to summon Drive through the Ridewatch engraving.

Straining just to lift his leg—it really shouldn't be that hard—he summoned Drive.

But as Drive charged forward, the Old Demon King smirked and raised his hand.

Zzzzzap!

Drive suddenly halted. Red and black lightning flickered across his armor.

Then—shockingly—he turned on Sougo.

"What the—?!" Sougo barely managed to push Drive aside.

"What did you do?!"

[Tridoron!]

Drive wasn't done. He immediately activated his finisher, summoning the Tridoron vehicle. It circled Sougo at blinding speed, allowing Drive to ricochet off its body and unleash a devastating combo of spinning kicks.

When the sequence ended, Grand Zi-O was floored.

The strongest base form of the Heisei era just kicked the final form of Zi-O into submission...

As Drive's engine screeched to a halt beside him, the Old Demon King chuckled.

"You really are weak."

"Your Majesty!" Woz appeared just in time, helping Sougo up.

"Why...?" Sougo muttered, eyes full of disbelief.

"Why can't I defeat you...?"

"You want to know?" Ohma Zi-O said, amused. "It's because you haven't truly gathered the power of all Riders."

He emphasized the word all.

"Kamen Rider Drive's Ridewatch was stolen by Gates from the Demon King," Woz clarified.

Whether it was intentional or not, Sougo had interpreted "all Riders" as just the primary Heisei Riders. But the reality? "All" also meant the secondaries, the villains, and every Rider in between.

"So what?!" Sougo shouted, gritting his teeth. "I'll still fight you!"

"Fool," the Demon King sneered, unleashing another explosive burst.

This man was truly dangerous. He would kill his younger self just to prove a point.

Thankfully, Ryuga rushed forward, opening a portal to send Sougo back to 2019.

"Are you not worried that if you really killed him, the timeline would lock before you could fix it?" Ryuga muttered.

Woz exhaled in relief as he saw Sougo vanish safely. He had feared the old king's madness would go too far.

He gave Ryuga a respectful nod before bowing before Ohma Zi-O.

"Your Majesty."

"Hahaha! Relax, I had it under control!" the old king laughed. "That third-tier form is just so hideous, I had to hit it harder. It was an eyesore!"

"…."

But his smile faded suddenly. He narrowed his eyes.

"Something's wrong with the timeline."

"What is it?" Ryuga asked, eyes narrowing.

"The Lemon Bastard again?" he guessed.

"Lemon… essence?" The old king paused, then chuckled. "Ah, what a vivid nickname... No, not him this time."

"It's Swartz. He's made his move—early."

Back in 2019...

With both Sougo and Ryuga absent, Tsukuyomi had been alone at the residence.

Swartz took this chance to abduct her.

He drained her newly awakened temporal power, revealing his ambition to become a king himself.

Had it not been for Kadoya Tsukasa, who brought Gates back just in time, Tsukuyomi would've been completely drained.

However, Tsukasa was soon betrayed by Kaitou Daiki.

Kaitou had been hounded by Tsukasa for weeks, but now—empowered by the time stolen from Tsukuyomi—he turned on his old rival. Swartz appeared and robbed Kaitou of his transformation abilities, creating the Another Decade Ridewatch, gaining devastating power.

Still, Tsukasa wasn't overly concerned. He had contingency plans. For him, disappearing into the waves of time was just part of the job.

A few days later, a knight cloaked in aquamarine arrived.

"You're Meikoin Gates, right?" he asked, looking directly at Gates.

"That's me. Who are you?"

"I'm Kamen Rider Aqua—Minato Miharu. I've come to take you back."

"Back?" Gates frowned. "To where?"

"To the future. It's time for you and Tsukuyomi to return."

"Why now?" Sougo asked, confused.

"Interfering with the past is unnatural," Miharu explained. "You've tampered enough. It's time to restore balance."

"Aqua…" Woz flipped through his book. "According to records, he's from forty years in the future."

"That's right." Miharu nodded. "A Kamen Rider once changed me by coming to the past. But Gates—what you're doing is the opposite. You cannot change the past."

Gates narrowed his eyes. "Don't talk like you know everything."

"It was Swartz who started this!"
