Chapter 100 - Chapter 99: Kamen Rider Eternal

"Either he or you—it's the same. The future always finds a way to tamper with the past!"

"What are you talking about?!" Gates snapped, stepping forward angrily, but Sougo quickly held him back.

"By the way, where's Tsukuyomi?" Minato Miharu asked.

"I don't know. I haven't seen her these past few days," Sougo replied, shaking his head.

"Sougo! Someone's here for you!"

Uncle peeked his head in through the door.

"Someone's looking for me?" Sougo blinked in confusion. Who else would come looking for me?

"Yeah, it's a weird little guy—likes to wear feathers in his hair. Kind of like that girl, Ora!"

"Ora? Feathers?"

"It's Heure," Gates said as he stood up.

"Well, this is rare," Woz remarked with a smirk.

"I need your help!" Heure said, a bit breathless. "Swartz sent a Another Drive after me!"

"Drive?!" Sougo's expression stiffened. Even now, the name sent chills down his spine.

Still, true to his kind nature, Sougo let Heure stay. After all, the house had plenty of extra rooms—too many, really.

And so, lunchtime became... chaotic.

Sougo, Gates, Woz, Heure, Miharu, Kaitou, Uncle, Ryūga, Ora—a full table of eleven people. There weren't enough chairs. Or patience.

To say it was lively would be a stretch. Yes, the room was crowded, but the atmosphere? Tense. Uncomfortable.

Most of them were from different times, different worlds, even different realities. Small talk was limited. Uncle's presence meant they had to keep certain things secret.

They mostly stared at each other, poking at food.

Only Ryūga and Ora casually ate and even helped serve one another. Uncle and Kaitou had prepared an incredible meal—too good to waste.

Still, their open affection became unbearable for the others. While their romance flourished, everyone else lost their appetite.

Feasting on dog food while others starve? Cruel. Effective.

Suddenly, Tsukuyomi burst in holding her tablet. "There's a report of Another Drive nearby!"

"Let's move!"

The group surged up at once.

In truth, only Sougo and Gates went to confront the enemy. The rest were just happy for an excuse to leave that suffocating lunch table.

Meanwhile, Miharu pulled Tsukuyomi aside.

"Tsukuyomi, you and Gates must return to the future immediately. You shouldn't be meddling in the past!"

"No! If we leave, Sougo might still become the Demon King," Tsukuyomi insisted. "We came here to stop that from happening!"

"You don't get it," Miharu said firmly. "You and Gates came from the future with the Demon King. It's your presence here that causes him to become Ohma Zi-O!"

"No... that's not true..." Tsukuyomi murmured, stunned.

"The longer you and the Time Jackers remain here, the worse the distortion in space-time becomes."

"Then maybe you should go after Swartz instead. Stop picking on us!"

Elsewhere, Sougo and Gates had already defeated Another Drive. Although it evaded a finishing blow, they forced it back into its human form.

"Ugh?!"

The person who collapsed before them shocked everyone—especially Heure.

"N-No way... that's me?!" he gasped.

Before they could approach, Swartz suddenly appeared and dragged the defeated "Heure" away.

"I won't let you interfere," Swartz said coldly.

"Swartz!" Heure growled, seething.

"Heure, step back. We'll handle this," Sougo said, shielding him.

"You? What can a budget Demon King and his sidekick possibly do?" Swartz sneered.

"Let me show you the power I've acquired!"

He produced a new Ridewatch.

[Decade!]

He inserted it into his chest. The transformation triggered—Swartz became a Another Decade, a mockery of the legendary warrior.

So this is your plan? Copying Decade and playing villain of the week?

Stronger than Ohma Zi-O? Perhaps. But still beneath the true Demon King.

With a gesture, Swartz summoned a dimensional wall and hurled the three of them into a remote valley.

"Where are we—" Sougo looked around, but Swartz didn't wait.

Big Bang!

A brilliant blast exploded around them.

"Arghh!"

The two Riders collapsed under the pressure.

"Hmph. You two are hardly worth my time," Swartz said with disdain.

"Then I'll let them handle you."

Another dimension wall opened—and four villainous Riders emerged.

Each of them took a target. In no time, Kamen Rider G4 deployed his "Great Cannon" and launched four deadly rockets, sending Sougo and Gates flying.

Woz arrived just in time to see the beatdown. Without hesitation, he activated his scarf weapon and pulled both Riders out in a flash.

Swartz: "Coward."

But Woz had saved Sougo's life again. It was practically a routine by now.

On the way home, Sougo separated from Gates when he ran into an old classmate—Owada.

Confident and cheerful, Owada invited him to a martial arts match. Despite his best efforts, Owada came in second place.

Second place isn't bad. But people only remember the winner. Everyone knows Mount Everest. But who remembers K2?

After the match, just as Sougo tried to cheer up Owada, Swartz appeared once more—this time, imprisoning Owada in a miniature world formed from dimensional energy.

"Swartz! What did you do?!"

"You'll find out soon enough," he sneered.

The miniature world twisted and released a figure—half-crouched, breathing deeply.

The infamous villain from Kamen Rider W: Eternal.

"That's more like it," Eternal muttered, cracking his knuckles. "For a moment, I thought I really had died."

"Who are you?" Sougo asked warily.

"Who am I?" Eternal grinned. "Remember this name in hell—Daido Katsumi!"

[Eternal!]

He inserted a silver Gaia Memory into his Lost Driver.

[Eternal!]

"Let's enjoy hell together," he said, giving a thumbs-down.

"Transformation!" Sougo responded, donning his base form and rushing in.

Elsewhere, the Another Drive found Heure again, this time alone.

"Who the hell are you?!" Heure shouted, struggling as the creature lifted him by the neck.

"I am Roidmude—a mechanical lifeform. And I'll replace you in this world!"

"Ha ha ha ha!"

"Hyaah!"

Just as Heure was about to be strangled, Woz arrived once again in the nick of time.

"Tch." The Drive growled and emitted a strange field of energy.

"Heavy acceleration," Woz muttered. His body grew heavy. Still, he smiled.

"Too bad. The infinite cosmos has no gravity!"

Cosmic energy flared around him, nullifying the Roidmude's gravity field.

"This trick is useless against Galaxy End Form."

"Then how about this!"

The Another Drive accelerated and struck him—fast, but not fast enough.

[Shippu! (Blast!)]

A blur of blue arrived. It was Gates, in his Blast Form, moving just as fast.

Speed was no longer the Drive's advantage.

And if Heure had stayed, Woz would've finished it with a map-cannon-style area blast.
