Thanks to Gai introducing her to Kakashi, Yuma sought him out whenever he was in the village to spar. Whenever she spared with him she uses kenjutsu, bo jutsu, ninjutsu, and taijutsu.
Every night, Yuma studied the chakra theory book, the hand seals theory book, and the earth-style ninjutsu theory book.
Thanks to Yuma's photographic memory and high-comprehension talent, it took her only two days to memorize these books and fully understand their contents
Each night before bed, Yuma practices hand seals for three hours. Over the past three weeks, she has become remarkably fast at performing them.

In the Hokage Office
Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Third Hokage, furrowed his brows as he sifted through the paperwork before him. Rising from his seat, he walked over to the wall where the map of the elemental nations hung.
The Third Hokage was deep in thought when the door to his office opened and his advisors stepped inside.
Hiruzen didn't glance at his advisors as they stepped into the office. They settled into their seats and waited patiently for him to finish studying the map.
His three advisors were Danzo Shimura, Hamura, and Koharu.
"Hiruzen, we need to act quickly and put an end to these skirmishes with Iwa and Kumo, or the Fourth Shinobi War will erupt. The village is in no condition to enter another conflict. We're still recovering from the Kyubi attack, and the Uchiha incident has left us severely weakened," Koharu said to the Third Hokage.
Hamura nodded at Koharu's words. Hiruzen's eyes flickered with guilt when the Uchiha incident was mentioned, but only for a moment—then they hardened once more.
He then turned to Danzo and said, "Danzo, I want you to send your Root ANBU to destroy Kumo's supplies. Jiraiya is on his way to take command in our skirmish against Kumo."
Danzo's eyes widened at Hiruzen's words. He gritted his teeth and demanded, "How did you know I never disbanded the Root?"
"SWOOSH."
When Hiruzen heard Danzo's question, he unleashed his chakra in full force, laced with his killing intent. The pressure of it hit Danzo like a tidal wave, crushing and suffocating.
Danzo and the other two advisors began sweating profusely as they felt the weight of Hiruzen's chakra and the intensity of his killing intent.
'How could this be? He's far stronger than before—almost as strong as he was in his prime. What's happening?' Danzo thought, his heart pounding with shock.
Hiruzen passed a scroll to Danzo. "Danzo — have your Root ANBU mobilized to destroy Kumo's supply base. The coordinates are written here."
Gritting his teeth, Danzo nodded, snatched the scroll, and strode out of the Hokage's office.
After Danzo left, Hiruzen retracted his chakra and reflected silently, "Ever since I used that girl to relieve my stress, I've grown stronger. I'm almost as strong as I was in my prime. Could it be that this is the result of me sleeping with her?'
Hiruzen shook his head, continuing to think, "No… impossible. This isn't logical. I'll deal with it later. For now, he had more pressing matters. I must end these skirmishes. The village cannot afford another war—not while Konoha is still reeling from the Kyubi attack and the Uchiha incident."
Hiruzen walked over to the Hokage's desk and took a seat, his gaze fixed on his two advisors. "So," he asked, "what do you think our next move should be to bring these skirmishes to an end?"
Hamura looked at the Third Hokage and said, "We need to deploy more shinobi to the borders to pressure Iwa and Kumo's forces into retreating."
The third Hokage nodded along with Koharu.
"Yes," Koharu said, "but we have to keep a few chunin in the village, just in case something unexpected occurs."
The Third Hokage nodded thoughtfully. "You are both right," he said. "However, I will dispatch some of my ANBU squads to take out Iwa's supply base."
Koharu and Hamura nodded in agreement to the Third Hokage. He then handed them each a file and said, "I plan to send these chunins to our borders along with some of our Jonins to assist in the skirmishes against Iwa and Kumo. What do you think?"
Hamura and Koharu opened the files and began reviewing the names of the chunin listed inside.
Koharu raised her eyebrows when she saw Yuma's name. She looked at Hiruzen with a questioning gaze and asked, "Hiruzen, this kunoichi is only a low-ranking chunin. She won't make any difference in our skirmish against Iwa. Why are you sending her there?"
Hiruzen smirked at Yuma's name and replied to Koharu, "She might be a low-level chunin now, but that won't last. She's a late bloomer, just like you."
Koharu was surprised by what she heard. Intrigued, she leaned in, listening carefully to Hiruzen. "She's been improving at an incredible pace recently. I first took notice when Might Gai told me how skilled she was in Taijutsu. She could spar with him, hold her own even while he wore his weights, and, of course, Gai wasn't even using his Inner Gates during their sparring."
Koharu studied Yuma's details intently. Hiruzen continued, "That's not all. Yuma-chan has also sparred with Kakashi using kenjutsu, bo jutsu, ninjutsu, and taijutsu. She wasn't his match, but her improvement has been astonishingly fast. She reminds me of you back when we trained under Tobirama-sensei."
Koharu's lips curved into a smile."She seems like an interesting girl. I'd like to meet her once we've dealt with the Iwa and Kumo skirmishes."
Hiruzen smirked, nodded, and flared his chakra. The ANBU guards appeared at once, kneeling obediently before him.
Hamura and Koharu swiftly gave the two files to two ANBU. Turning to the assembled squads, Hiruzen commanded, "Lion, summon all the shinobi listed in this file."
Hiruzen shifted his gaze to the snake-masked ANBU. "That goes for you too, Snake," he said.
Both ANBU nodded, then shunshined away with the rest of their squads.
