The Aburame clan members sent their insects swarming toward the Iwa and Waterfall shinobi to distract them, while the Inuzuka clan members crouched beside their ninja dog companions, forming a hand seal in unison.

The Inzuka clansmen, along with their dog partners, spun violently at lightning speed before lunging at the Iwa and Waterfall shinobi like a raging typhoon.
The Waterfall and Iwa shinobi were left defenseless against the Inzuka clansmen, their attention consumed by the swarming Aburame clan insects.

In the next instant, they were struck hard and sent flying toward the trap, though some of the Iwa shinobi managed to dodge the Inzuka clansmen's attack.

The Aburame clansmen hurled shurikens at the Iwa Shinobi, who deftly evaded the Inzuka clansmen's jutsu..
Some of the Iwa and Waterfall shinobi were killed when struck by the shurikens, while others were injured; yet a few transformed into mud or water upon being struck.
The Inuzuka and Aburame clans continued their assault against the Iwa and Waterfall shinobi. After an intense battle, they successfully pushed their foes toward the trap location.

When Aoba saw all the Iwa and Waterfall Shinobi entering the trap area, he raised his right arm.

All Iwa and Waterfall Shinobi swiftly retreated at the warning, fleeing beyond the Land of Fire borders.
The Konoha Shinobi didn't pursue Iwa and Waterfall Shinobi; once their foes had fully retreated, they erupted into loud cheers.
Yuma smirked as she watched her comrades cheering. Then she turned to Kakashi and Gai and asked, "So, how many did you two take down? I got 80.'"
Gai laughed loudly and said to Yuma, "'Ha ha ha, Yuma-chan, you lost this time! I took down 99 of those unyouthful shinobi.'"
Kakashi chuckled and said to Yuma and Gai, "Too bad, Gai—I beat you again. I took down 100 of those idiots. From now on, you two will have to listen to me.'"
Gai's jaw dropped when he heard this. Turning to Kakashi, he exclaimed, 'This is so unyouthful!'"
